If one of my characters dies I was thinking about trying a dreadnought out. Anyone know if they are good from experience?

I know that their carapace is OP >.>. They can grow it anytime they want, for no energy cost, and the only draw back is that they are extremely heavy. Shapeshifters have to use energy to shapeshift, werewolfs need energy to transform, so why don't dreadnoughts use energy for their carapace?

Yeah, its going to cost energy if its the last thing I do. >.> They use energy to shed it, but I don't see a skill to form it. Jackie said it herself,
SorceressJacklyn
" The energy promotes a rapid "bone" growth to create the carapace and maintain its defensive abilities. "

There should at-least be a skill made... Like, one where the less energy put into the carapace making the weaker it is.

Feel free to make one, you'd get the credit. But either way the Carapace should cost about D to C Rank, leaning toward C Rank because just like the shapeshifters and werewolves, their main skill is a C Rank.

Guys, it's part of their strengths and as such, was made a passive ability:

"You can harden your skin anytime, giving a wide advantage to you in the battlefield"

Shed costs energy because it adds another layer of carapace to the original. And Revert takes energy to do because it's a forceful shedding of the carapace.

Then why not let the shapeshifters be be able to change form for no energy as well? Or the Lycans. Should make sense, right. But it doesn't. They need some other good weakness other than 'They are heavy' and this would balance them out. Blocking C Rank skills for no energy cost? Tell me thats not OP.

Then since it's suppose to be their natural form, I would say E Rank or make it where they have to be in Carapace form at all times until they use Revert.

Along with this, most dreadnoughts do not even follow the whole 'Must shed their carapace' thing.

@Arashi: Is it a normal class? Not magical?
