Ashriel sighed. "Fine. But no more." She said flatly, eating the thing. She pushed to get away from Raevyn and back to serving the people.

Raevyn sighed, watching her get back to work. He turned back to work himself and didn't push Ashriel to eat any more. He said nothing more to her, focused solely on his work.

Ashriel went through the late-night rush no issues, although around one am she began to be a bit wobbly as she moved. A moment later, she was on the floor, passed out. Luckily, she hadn't had a tray in her hand when she did pass out.

Raevyn, noticing her wobbling, was heading over to Ashriel. When she passed out, he raced the last little bit, catching her just before her head hit the ground. His heart was racing a mile a minute. "Colt, call in Peter and Ran to take over. I'm taking Ash home." The bear simply nodded and went to fetch help. Raevyn stood up, cradling Ashriel. He headed home, wanting to get her to a quiet spot right away.

Ashriel didn't even stir as Raevyn carried her, and her glow had completely disappeared. Her heart was beating faintly, but it was apparent that she was pretty much unconscious - not exactly sleeping. It was apparent that between her lack of sleep the night before and how little Raevyn could convince her to eat, her body flat out ran out of energy.

Raevyn sighed, carrying her home. He should have been keeping a closer eye on her. He should have stopped this before it happened. Back at home, he settled her on the bed, tucking her in. Kissing her forehead lightly, he murmured "I'm sorry...." He turned out the lights, then turned into a cat, curling up in Ashriel's arms.

[-timeskip...and I'm just going to start it...-] The house phone rang loudly, but, somehow, Ashriel was sleeping right through it. The only difference from last night was that she was moving slightly in her sleep now - could that be counted as an improvement? A knock came on the door at the same time, so it was predictable who was there.

Raevyn jerked at the sound of the phone. He leaped out of bed, knocking the phone from the cradle and turning it on so it stopped ringing. He meowed, then pushed the off button. He padded over to the door, shifting forms to open it up. "Shhh. Ash is still sleeping." He cautioned.

Lucian looked at Raevyn curiously. "You do realize it is past lunchtime, right?" He questioned, stepping inside. "I just came over to see if everything was alright with her. I called a few times yesterday, but no one answered their phones, so I figured I'd come over here today." He commented, looking at Raevyn.

"Can't say I'm surprised." Raevyn yawned, glancing at the clock. "We were at Sanctuary, working. Ash passed out." He admitted, his shoulders drooping. "I wasn't paying enough attention to her and her state."

Lucian sighed. "She actually left your room?" He seemed surprised by that fact. "How'd you get her out?" He asked, assuming it was Raevyn's idea to go do something and distract her.

Raevyn shook his head. "Not my idea." He said quietly. "She's determined to earn the money to fly to England and convince Jennalin to return. She wouldn't listen when I said Jennalin won't come back, her decision is made." He explained to Lucian, moving aside for him to come in.

Lucian sighed. "So Ash has decided it is up to her to do something about it? That...is...brilliant. Could you at least get her to eat? I know how determined she gets - no time for anything but her methods." He asked, looking at Raevyn as he walked into the house.

"I tried. She didn't eat much, part of why she fainted, but I did get SOME food into her, thank the gods." Raevyn sighed and sat on the couch. "I need to take better care of her....." He muttered to himself.

"Then you did better than me. I couldn't get her out of their room, and I couldn't get her to eat. She just lied there, in Jen's bed, until I ended up calling Mum because I couldn't stand seeing her lay there, not eating. That was the only reason Mum caved last time." Lucian commented easily, standing behind the couch. "It drives me nuts though; the only reason Mum made Jen go back was because of those attacks earlier this year. Neither of us wanted to fight her, because how do you fight someone with an argument of 'you just barely made it in time then, what about next time'?" Lucian explained, sighing.
In their room, Ashriel was finally waking up. As could probably be expected, she immediately changed, brushed her hair quickly, and headed for the front door.
