Misty watched the fight, hoping that Zain will make it out okay. But he seemed to be doing really good for fighting against a vampire, so she wasn't too worried.

Zain fell to the floor hard, but kept his senses and turned the fall into a good thing. Zain did what seemed like a breakdance spin, his feet arcing at Kevin's tripping him.

Kevin tripped but grabbed Zain's leg and pulled Zain towards him. He then used his fall to body slam Zain.

Zain lifted his knife he had grabbed up after throwing Kevin, aiming it up at Kevin as he fell on him. The blade slicing through flesh easily.

"You know," Zain said, watching his hunting knife go over the edge, "If I weren't trying to kill you I'd make you get that." Zain grinned, spinning his trench knife and arcing it into Kevin's gut, then pulling it out and flinging it back into the room they had fought in earlier, so Kevin wouldn't toss away his good knife.
