The Rock Test Cecislava *At the hospital, the doctor has matt come into his office, 'Mr Schneider, i am afriad that Alex is going to have to remain here for the rest of her prenancy. She and the baby are very weak. The chances for a problem wit h the birth have greatly increased. The baby's chances of dying at birth are very high now. Even Miss Pierce's chances of possibly dying are increasing. If Alex or the baby's condition gets wrose from now to the birth, we may have to terminate the pregnancy...If it gets worse, we could loose them both...They cant take anymore blows. They ahve to be calm and rest. I;m sorry." The doctor leaves to chekc on Alex and the baby. Tara watches.* *Schneider looks down at Tara* "Ok you go stay with Alex, I need to go talk to some people" "Oh Mr Schneider...i forgot to tell you, about Alex's other babies..."

"From age 16 to present, Alexandra has had numoerus pregnancys. All children died during or at childbirth or after. Alex's body never could take a full pregnancy, we almost lost Tara several times when Alex was pregnant with her. Alex has tried being in teh hospital during the pregnancy but she lost hte baby at childbrith. Other tahn Tara, the longes living baby has been for 57 hours. Some babies died within the first few weeks, some during thel at part of the pregnantcy, some at childbirth some withing hte first day. Alex has sliped into a coma 3 times during of after the pregnancy becsae of her health problems. 6 times Alex needed to get a medical abortion for the babies. Alex has been miserable each time. Tara was a miracle. We all didnt think Alex could carry her ot full term, even after Tara's father died. But so far, Tara is the only child to survive..."
