If he's only JUST signed up recently, he will still need to do some PT,
and they usually ship to boot camp every six months.
Personally, I think it's a wise choice, NAVY is the best in my opinion, (may be biased due to my aptitude test when I was in there offices and the fact I love the sea).
You still may have quite some time to spend with him.
And, to be fair, this isn't the first time you've spent long amounts of time apart.
He was rather....whiny....when you were at camp, but was happy you were doing something you wanted to try.
At the very least Ash,
you should realize that what you feel on the matter really shouldn't even matter.
It's his choice, as his own person.
