I know he wants to do this. But I really cant stand it. I hate even the thought of it. Do you know how long he would be away? months or years at a time. I cant do it. I know my reasons are completely selfish, and that its his choice, but I cant help but to not support him. I just cant do it..

Obviously you going to want to fight against this, you hate the thought of Chou being hurt..
Chou is my friend, that pretty much means nothing compared to your connection to him but the more you think he is going to get hurt the more it hurts you.

It's not just that. Its also the distance. I can barely stand things as they are. Unlike my parents, I don't like him being so far away. Its hard.
