two more figures bolted out of the tree this time directly at lisan. the first to reach him dident even hit the ground but came down on lisan with duel short swords drawn. lisan high blocked and threw the first figure aside. as he did the second had already hit the ground in front of lisan and was in mid lunge. lisan face palmed the second one and put it on its back. "you guys never change" lisan chuckled out as readied himself.

Casper stood, watching the fight. She was itching to interfere, but she held back, knowing that would only cause more problems than it would solve.

the first two started stepping forward as the other two stood up. "shale we begin" all four spoke in sync. and without notice all four rushed lisan. the first too him swung with sharp claws but only hit air as lisan blinked behind him. the first one fell into two halfs behind him just as the duel wielding one reached him.

Casper was surprised at their fast actions and gasped, jumping backwards into the tree. Again, she fought the overwhelming instinct to help.

lisan exchanged blocks and blows with the shadow until the other two came close enough. then the pace of lisans swing picked up as all three swung at him at once. lisan's swings parries and dodges started to blur together as they surrounded him.

Casper watched as they surrounded lisan. She couldn't stand back any longer. She looked down at the ground and three vines shot up, encircling one of the figure's arms and one leg, dragging it down into a crevice in the earth.

as lisan continued with the other two the shadow on the ground reformed and stood up. facing toward casper he took a menacing stance with his claws. " play?" (( this ones all you lol ))

"Oh crap," Casper said. She snapped her fingers and a fire started under the shadow's feet. It was quickly consumed in the flames and burst in a puff of black smoke.

lisan finished another off by beheading it. as it dissipated he shouted out "time!". the last one stood unmoving in front of lisan. lisan grined at casper as he spoke " hah! you pretty good young one"

lisan motioned with his hand "these are a rough shadow spell i learned some time ago. im not good with spells or the mental stuff so they dont reach there full potential with me" he walked over to the sheath on the ground and picked it up. " you see the more you summon they less likely they will listen to you"
