Lady Blodwynn It's a bad habit of GW to make models out of dead characters. Tycho, Naaman, Macharius, Eldrad etc. are all dead! Personally I have a fervent wish that Bjorn the Fellhanded will not be in the new Space Wolves codex. He's a great character but over ten millennia old and a last link to the past of the Imperium. Having an ancient relic fight against Bob's Tau seems a bit degrading to me. Hey now, even though my primarch kicked your primarch's buttox on several occasions, Bjorn is pretty cool I think. What other dread has lightning claws? hahahaha! I wish they'd release maybe an addon to my codex with rules for Interrogator Chaplain Asmodai. There's a figure on GW's site, and he's been in all Codecies till now. Dunno why they narced him. I wish also that they'd incorporate Brother Standard Bearer Beathor (or whatever his name is) and bring back Jink and Skilled Rider for Ravenwing. But, what can one do? Afterall, a boy can dream can't he?

Macharius was a great character, and the thing is that he's still legal in several tournaments.
As far as those things go, though, I'd like to see an ability for Scout Snipers similar to the old Deathworld snipers where they can just "step into the shadows" and disappear to fight another day.

Lady Blodwynn I don't recall stating that I was a marine or Dark Angel player confused True, what army do you play? As for me I don't mind bringing back dead charecters, being as I am a smurf player and I for some reason like having five special charecters that I will probably never end up using. Still I am unfimiliar with Bjorn or the old scout snipers rule, care to explain.

This old rule that I was talking about is from Codex: Catachan. They had a special choice called Deathworld Snipers that could shoot per normal and could infiltrate using special rules. They couldn't move, though. If they were in trouble, they could fade into the shadows to escape damage.

Dang, that must've been hell in a city or a jungle. Nothing worse than being pinned by a sniper you can't vector, and watching as your first and finest get shot down. I'm glad the old Space Wolf scout infiltrate behind enemy lines and cheat rule is now being applied to all marines to my knowledge (YAY!) and I really hope that the fluff behind the "Time of Ending" is up to snuff. My codex had some cool stories in it for my beloved chapter, but the older one I read in a PDF file was way more in depth and cooler. Not to mention it had rules for ALL our special characters. now I've heard that Bjorn has never been truly developed as far as his combat abilities go. I've heard that his rules vary from place to place and sometimes his claws are just counted as him being a Furioso. I think that all armies should have an Uber Kewl Super Special Awesome dreadnought like Bjorn is for the Wolves. Sorry, I'm a big fan of the whole 40k universe and all the "fluff" as well as the game.

No need to apologize whatsoever. Actually, something that my friends and I were bouncing around back before there were really any solid rumors on the Marine Codex were that one of the Ultramarine characters (Probably Tigerius) would end up being interred into a dreadnought. That would be insane, though, with a Librarian Dreadnought...It would be immune to Perils of the Warp...

Funny enough scouts are probably going to go down in their WS and BS to better represent that they are the young and inexperienced members of the Chapter. So scouts firing sniper rifles will suddenly become less attractive.
I foresee a drop in the use of space marine scouts.

Space Wolves scouts are different from other chapters, their scouts are the old, wise and patient, the new initiates are Blood Claws instead.

Lady Blodwynn Space Wolves scouts are different from other chapters, their scouts are the old, wise and patient, the new initiates are Blood Claws instead. Which is why they come in on the board edge and murder things with special weapons. =o DA scouts have manstopper rounds (Whether all Scouts will get this is yet to be seen.) @ -1 BS : Well, sniper rifles are also becoming better, so Scouts will be nerfed and made better at the same time. @_@

. . .Manstoppers? Something from the new rulebook?Dark Angels' scouts get manstopper rounds. Shotguns are for charging into combat guns blazing, so they're kind of an interesting niche to fill.

Perhaps you could enlighten me as to what Manstopper rounds do?
