Abel finished the stitches a total of fifteen. He tied off the ends and cut them. Abel listened as Miguel thanked him and moved to clear his tears. He stood as he gathered the first aid kit and moved to the bathroom. Abel set the kit on the counter as he closed it. He removed his gloves and tossed them in the trash. Abel went about washing his hands then turned out the light and returned to his bedroom.
He saw Miguel hadn't moved though he wasn't bothered. Abel went to his closet, pulling out a clean shirt and sweatpants. He walked over to the bed as he tossed them beside Miguel. Abel took a seat on the bed as he moved back the blankets. It was early but he had no plans.

Jakob lay quietly as Abel finished with his stitches. He gave his thanks as the male rose and went about cleaning up. He didn't bother moving even though he knew he ought to. He doubted that Abel would want him sleeping in his bed and he had no intentions of going into Kieran's room. He would faster sleep outside than go in there.
Around him, Abel continued to toss things out and clean up after himself. He didn't expect him to do anything else for him, but surprised as the male tossed some clothes his way. Sitting up slowly, he peel off his bloody t-shirt and balled it up. There was no saving it and he didn't want to end up getting anymore blood on anything. Eyeing the trash that Abel had used earlier, Jakob inspected himself for anymore lingering blood but found himself to be as clean as one could get from a bedside sponge bath. With nothing else to wipe away, he tossed the soiled garment in with the rest of the trash.
Jakob then shrugged on the new shirt, wincing slightly as the fabric rubbed against his stitches. Moving slowly, he then bent to remove his pants. He thought about ask Abel for help, but didn't think he was in the mood to give him anymore help this evening. He took his time pulling on the sweatpants, by the time he was done he felt as though he'd run a mile. He glanced curiously towards the male. He didn't want to go back downstairs, wasn't even sure if he could make it. Sliding on to the bed, Jakob moved to lay beside Abel without crowding him. "So what happened after you woke up?" he asked softly. Jakob wondered if the male would tell him. He was tired of talking about Kirean, but he wasn't sure what else was left for them. They weren't friends, he wasn't even sure if they had anything in common. Still, he didn't want to lay here in silence. He'd had more than enough silence the last few weeks.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • ❛ 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝙅𝙪𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧.❜Offering Miguel clothes was merely because he didn't want him lying in dirty clothes. Abel watched as Miguel went about struggling to remove his shirt. He didn't bother helping as he figured Miguel could figure it out himself. Abel waited as Miguel soon moved onto removing his pants and pulling on the sweatpants.
He hardly cared if Miguel left or even went downstairs. Abel waited as Miguel finally made a decision and joined him on the bed. He looked down at Miguel as he questioned him, figuring he no longer wanted to talk about Kirean. "Well…I woke with no memory of what happened…I still don't…Only that I was stabbed and left for dead…Addy stayed with me for about a week until I sent her away, she was hovering too much…" Abel responded as he glanced away from Miguel.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • ❛ 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝙅𝙪𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧.❜Abel wasn't too interested in talking about his attack. He didn't remember it so there wasn't much to tell. The last thing he remembered was being in the kitchen late at night and then a burning sensation in his back.
Talking about Addy, he listened as Miguel spoke. He'd been surprised to hear he'd visited him in the hospital as Addy hadn't said anything, only that Kirean had asked Rowyn to provide some protection for him. Abel felt the bed move as Miguel came closer. He wasn't bothered by it. Abel listened as Miguel questioned him again. He looked down at Miguel, "It's alright, working on building some muscles back up… Abel responded as he glanced at the scar lining his abdomen. It was still healing. "My spleen got destroyed and they nicked my kidney but the doctors were able to fix it." He replied remembering they told him he had had a lot of blood loss.

He had asked Addy and Rowyn where he was but neither had an answer. Abel hadn't bothered to contact Miguel for answers. He had figured they were together but that was not the case. Abel didn't know where Kirean would run, he wasn't the running type. Although the man before him was the cause of his pain, a stubborn fool.
Answering Miguel's questions didn't bother him. He couldn't remember so he saw no harm. However he had been surprised to know Miguel hadn't done it but then again not so much. Abel listened as Miguel teased him. "Well thank you for your vote of confidence." He replied, glad not to be dead either.

Abel didn't want to watch him bleed to death as he didn't think Miguel would have gone to the hospital to get help. He had to agree, he didn't like going to the hospital for minor wounds. Feeling the bed shift, he watched as Miguel leaned over and kissed his shoulder before pulling away. Abel shrugged his shoulders at Miguel's question. "Probably need to focus on the common goal of finding out who was hired to attack me and take care of them." He replied knowing Miguel had the same focus in mind.

However, who would be so bold to attack him in his own home, someone who had plenty of time to watch him and know he'd be alone. He responded to Miguel's question as he watched him. Abel listened as Miguel spoke. "Oh really?...And what information would that be?" He asked, curious to know if Miguel would explain or keep his information to himself.

Given his current condition, Jakob didn't mind sharing what he knew. Besides that, it didn't feel right to keep this sort of information to himself. Abel had every right to know who tried to kill him. He doubted the police had very much to go on to fill in those blanks. Abel's follow up question was to be expected. "Just some stuff I've been collecting the last couple of weeks. As you may or may not Cornelius has replaced me with someone new and decided to give me all the credit for your near death experience." he said slowly.
"He's roughly my weight,5'8, said to be from Venezuela other sources are saying Columbia. He does not use the same twice. His last three known names have been James Fargo, Jesus Rodriguez Martinez, and Sebastian Chavez. He's said to be fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese. I haven't been able to pin down a location, he doesn't seem to be living in any of Cornelius's homes. But I suppose we're not completely out of the realm of possibility that Cornelius could bought another property for him specifically using another name."
Jakob gave Abel just about everything he'd been able to uncover. It was still a working profile, but it was better than nothing. He wondered if any of those names meant anything to Abel. If so, perhaps they could work together on finding this guy.

He questioned Miguel, waiting to see. It wasn't long before Miguel responded. Abel listened to Miguel as he spoke of the new hitman for hire. His description sounded familiar. Especially since one of the names popped out. "Sebastien Chavez sounds familiar but I'll have to look at my records later to see if there's more details." Abel responded knowing he'd have to do some digging as well with the information he'd been given.
