"As you wish." He led her through the dongeons again, to where the air was thick with blood and death. He gestured to a lonely corpse with its entire ribcage charred and lying on the floor becide it. The skin was black, decaying but without any bugs or insects on it, like they didn't want to defile the corpse, and just let it fall apart through time. "That would be my pathetic excuse for a father."

Miete began to cry, her hair hiding her face, before she let her shadows take her away from that place into their depths.

Miete lay inside the shadows, hiding tears. All around her was dark. The last time she lay like this the shadows took her over. She didn't want that to happen again, but she also didn't want to be anywhere near that crazy man. He wanted to break Keshoto and she was a sure way to do so. If she let the shadows consume her again he couldn't.... you couldn't bite what wasn't really even there.

Miete appeared out of the shadows of the dungeon, shadows still clinging to her, "Hi Keshoto..."

He was sitting on the floor, the silver chains replaced by iron ones. He looked up, smiling at Miete. "...Hey..."

She walked over to him a smi8le tugging slightly at the corners of her lips, "I'm glad to see that the silver chains are gone. I don't like seeing you in that much pain."
