Melanie rolled the chicken until it was entirely white. "Oh wow, this is kind of fun." She then started dumping the rest of the chicken into the pan and did some extreme flouring. Within seconds, there was a big white cloud surrounding the two of them.

Zahzi had spent the last past fifteen minutes, in a staring contest with the television screen.
Almost every channel he went to, it spoke about the collapse of an abandoned building.
"...This is getting rather...Predictable, isn't it..?" he commented, talking about how every single time something happens, the news seems to cover it almost immediately...

Amnity chuckled. She patted some flour on Melanie's nose. That made her laughed a bit more. "Zazhi, come help us cook."

Zahzi rose his head, and looked over at where Amnity was. He then stood up, and walked into the kitchen.
"What would you like me to do..?"

Melanie blinked, flour on her hair and face. "Oops," she said with a smile as she shruged. Dusting some flour off her clothes, "I'll clean this after we're done." She grabbed a wet towel and wiped her face.

Amnity laughed, then looked over to Zahzi. Really, it wasn't fair that he wasn't the only person in the room that wasn't covered in flour. So she had to fix that. She flicked a handful of flour on him and grinned. "No, I'll clean up after we're done." She turned back to her pan full of floured chicken. "You guys go ahead and enjoy the evening."

Zahzi blinked a few times, trying to figure what occured.
"Uhhh...Huh...." he said, looking down at the flour.
"...I don't even think I could clean this in the traditional way..." he said, scratching the back of his head.

"All you really need is some soapy water, sponge, and paper towels." She said with a laugh.
"Don't worry Amnity, I'll help. I'll just get started cleaning up." She took a sponge, squirted some soap, and ran it under some water. She started with part of the counter. "Oh, wait" she said suddenly, "I know another way to clean this up. A bit more fun too. But it'll have to wait. It's the wrong time now." She wiped up the part with soap and asked, "So where's the bathroom?"

Amnity smiled. She stepped out of the kitchen and pointed to where the bathroom was. "Over there. This is a small apartment, so it's easy to find. Come back quickly." She stepped back into the kitchen, trying to wipe the powder from her hands and face. Like the white frosting from the ice-cream cake that Amnity and Zahzi were throwing around before on her birthday, the white powder of the flour seemed to blend in with her snow pale skin. She walked over to Zahzi and handed him a damp paper towel. "Here, you got some on your hair."

Zahzi looked over at Amnity and grinned, taking the towel.
"Oh, I wonder how that happened..." he said in a joking tone.

"Oh, I assumed that flour cunducted electcricity." Amnity replied sarcastically with a grin on her face. That was a joke, of course. She wiped some powder off her face and the few that caught in her hair. "The Chicken Marsela should be done in less then 10 minutes, do you think you'd be patient enough to wait until then?" she paused, then reached up abs ruffled some of the flour from his head.

"Of course..." Zahzi said with a smirk, taking the towel and washing off as much of the flour as he could.
"And apparently they're just now covering what happened to that abandoned building. So, that's something to watch..."

Amnity smiled, putting the chopped mushrooms in the frying pan. She took the bottle of the Marsala and poured it in with the mushrooms. "I'll hurry up then." A pillar of fire erupted from the pan when the heat made contact with the alcohol.

Melanie closed the door as she stepped inside. She stepped over to the shower and bent over to wash her hair. As the water flowed, washing the flour off, she thought, Why do I feel so melancholic all of a sudden?. She dusted her clothes and twisted as much water as she can out of her hair before approaching the door. She turned to look at the mirror quickly before leaving when she froze in her tracks. It wasn't her reflection.
Instead, it was part of her past coming back to haunt her. "Why now?" she gasped. "Because my dear," the reflection replied her red lips curling into an evil smile. "Your life just started becoming interesting." The reflection laughed wickedly.

"Melanie?" Amnity called from the kitchen, noticing that her friend had been in the bathroom for too long, and she her assistance in the cooking. "I need a bit of help. The faster we cook the the quicker we get to watch me on the news almost dieing."
