"Ugh. Nearly forgot about that side effect..." Veru put his furry head on the table, pushing his tray aside slightly. "I'm never pervy. I'm the most gentlemanly guy around girls, except for the whole damned werewolf shtick. My father's the frickin' master pervert. He'd make any perv look like a saint."

Veru sat up and shook his head. "Nah. Better to let the old dog rest while he can. Eventually his perviness is gonna cost him in the afterlife, don't need his kid to be cursing him more." Veru smirked as he changed the subject. "Ok, after Thia's magic wears off, Do I torture her for info or ask politely?"

Veru laughed. "Thia likes to fight. One of her more violent tendencies. She usually ends up fighting me every time we meet up again. She's crazy like that." Veru sounded kinda happy, then he blushed slightly as he shoved a steak in his mouth. "Kinda tough, they need to tenderize it a bit more..."

At first VEru started choking from the shock of the first question. After he coughed out his food he started laughing nervously at the second question. "Vampires love to fight, its in their history and characteristics. Thia's just following an ancient code that had been set in her blood. Personally? I think she just likes being a tyrant, blood line trait or not." Veru shifted into his vampire sarcasm mode. "Thia's a violent vampire chick with a determination to beat everyone to stand at the top. She wouldn't know mercy if it bit her in the face!" He chuckled roughly and grinned his wolfy grin. "Man, I bet Thia's going to pop up and bite me for that!" He barked a laugh at his bad joke, trying to hide the fact that he really didn't want to ask Thia for a favor when she may have already done him one for no reason. He also didn't want to find out if Thia had helped him on the whole meat issue, even in the slightest. It would just bug him later.

Veru shrugged. "She seemed to think it'd be a while and we've only been gone for about a half hour so I-" He as cut off as Rin slammed open the cafetera door and ran past them, leading about forty groundhogs that looked both angry and confused as hell.
Rin ran through the room, and out the opposite door, still being followed by the army of furry death bombs. Veru's mouth just hung open for a while. "Uh... Do we want to know what that was about?" He looked dumbfounded for the next two minutes.

Veru shook his head. "Psycho fox-girls and groundhogs apparently don't mix...." After about a minute, Rin ran back into the cafeteria and locked the door behind her. "Ok... Magic groundhogs do not like to share their roots..." She walked over to Someria and Veru. "Enjoy the relay race? I don't plan on doing a rerun." She sat down and lay her head on the table. "Blegh. I'm tired..."

Rin waved her hand slightly. "An hour, maybe two.... Magic dumplings taste like marshmallow fairies...."
Veru gave her a confused look. "Uh... Yeah. How much sleep did you get last night?"
Rin gave him a sleepy eyed look. "Na' much... Zzzz..." She closed her eyes and passed out right at the table.

Veru shrugged. "How should I know?! I barely know these two psychos. I only know Thia from a messed up past!"
Rin snapped awake and sat up. "Uh, sorry... I really need a cat-nap... Or a fox-nap...." She looked dead tired.
Veru looked at the cafeteria doors, wondering if the ground hogs were waiting out there. He shook his head as he realized he was being paranoid. "Wonderful. I'm going to have recurring nightmares of Furry flying puffballs of death." Rin laughed slightly, making her sound even more tired. "They're gone, I scared them away when I got in here again..."
Veru nodded, giving her a disbelieving look. "Uh... Right..."
