Keith started to laugh he tickled her for a few moments then stopped, when his laughing subsided he gazed at her for a few moments, "Well this is a little ackward me on top of you." He said leaning over her posting his arms just above her shoulders beside her head.

"Yeah, what would Dread think if he walked in right now?" Jade said, raising her eyebrows. In fact, she had been worrying about that very thing when she mentioned it. She was sure that Dread had been awake for some time now and was probably wondering what was keeping them. It wasn't as if she really wanted to leave the peace and happiness of Kieth's company, but she was worried that Dread wouldn't take them seriously if he knew how close they were. He didn't seem like the kind of guy who had much experience in the romance department.

"He'd probably say something to the effect of , Lycan's nothin' but a bunch of animals don't know how to lock the door." Keith laughed for a moment. "Speaking of which." He pulled out his knife and threw it at the door's lock hitting it, a latch was heard to confirm that it had been locked.

"Hey now," Jade said, feigning protest, "we can't just stay in here forever. I mean, not that I'd like to, but we did join the cause." She smiled at him, reaching up to brush some of the hair out of his eyes. She felt her love for him like a warm little light inside of her. It was very comforting. But her sense of duty to the war and to Dread's army was beginning to push the little light out of the way. The feeling that took over was something like the feel of cold metal. She didn't like it very much.

Kieths face fell for a moment but then he smiled as he climed off the bed and walked towards the door and unlocked it and picked up his knife, "Your right, soldiers first lovers second." He said as he walked back over to bed on the far side of the room and picked up his long trench coat and fitted an arm through it.

Jade shook her head, jumping up after him. She caught his hand when he had put it through his coat sleeve and pulled him into a kiss. When she drew back from him, she was giving him a look like teachers give kids when they misbehave. "No, that's not it at all. We are lovers first because that's by far the most important." She raised her eyebrows as if to say, 'Right?', and continued on. "But just because we're in love doesn't mean we can blow off our commitments. Besides, no offense, but I'd rather not be in the throes of passion when this place gets attacked." She wasn't sure if she believed that the fortress would really get attacked, but being prepared was always a good idea.

Caught off gaurd from her actions Keith was stund for a moment with dumbfounded look on his face. He smiled, "your right of course, this is true but we have received no oreders yet." He said fitting his other arm through the other sleeve and fitting the rest of the coat on.

[Wow, we've now taken up, like, four pages of this RP. sweatdrop ]
Jade smiled. "Valid point, but maybe the orders won't just show up at our feet. Maybe we have to seek them out." She nodded to emphasize her words, then froze, mid-nod. She'd heard something about them. Footsteps. "What's that?" she whispered, looking at the ceiling as if that would give them some clue. Dread had said the building above them had been condemned so they had nothing to worry about. She didn't think that was quite true at the moment.

"Fine, but you will not go alone, its too dangerous. I'll accompany you." Raph said standing up. He walked over to the back of the cave, a dark hush fell over the surroundings. A being flew at him out of the passage! Raph put his bow infront of him and closed his eyes to brace for the impact, but it never hit. He opened his eyes, it was gone. "Its...its over here." He said, looked back at James. Was he losing his mind, or was it a greater evil? He had no idea, but he didn't like it.

"Yes, that's probably a good idea. But we should probably alert Dread as well. Even though he's injured, he'll need to know if someone had invaded his fortress, no?" Jade raised her eyebrows, heading toward the door and placing her hand upon the knob.
