it wasn't long after i had fallen asleap before i had woken up again. i sensed the precence of another. i jumped down from my tree and looked inside togan's tent. he was still alseap. that was good. i quietly walked over to the fire and sat down on one of the logs.
maybe it was just my tired mind playing tricks on me. but i wasn't about to take the chances.

Witch hunter Gwendar:
he was searching the boys tent for any heretical items. when all of a sudden the small inhuman girl walked in as if she had seen me.
i knew it was impossible but she had definably suspected something.
she couldnt see me the charms he wore around his neck made that certain.
after such a long period of service and devotion only the best equipment was given to him.
after she left the tent he exited.
im getting to reckless i should go back to headquarters.
but yet he was compelled to stay.
i shall travel close to them and continue my duty's he decided

elazul: *sits in his tent examineing the new cloths on him* hmm i wonder how she knew the size....... oh well they are so swift and light feels wonderful *start to move around in tent* hmm *takes a drink of his tea and begins to lay down for bed* i should really thank her for this

By the time that Nebride awoke everyone was up and ready to leave. She exited her tent with a sigh and looked around. There was something odd--as if somebody not wanted was close by. "Maybe Eleclyo? No--most probable that damned witch hunter."
Nebride walked slowly amont the villagers. "Okay everyone! Let's get things done fast! We need to continue moving," she said loud enough for everyone to hear.
The were halfway down the road when Nebride realized that they had not done anything with the daemon bodies or caravans. "Damn it--how will we explain that? Curses!" With a sigh Nebride muttered a slight prayer under her breath.
The wind shifted slightly sending a wift of the dead daemons and then it was gone. "There--that's taken care of. At least unitl we're past and far away. Nobody will even know."

i was already fully covered in my cloak again. the bag of wolf i had made the night before had dried out a little so the blood wouldn't drip when i carried it.
nebride seemed a bit troubled though. "anything wrong?" i asked, walking toward her after she got rid of the demons.

Nebride glanced over at Gren. "I don't know. I think that witch hunter is close, but I can't tell how close. We need to keep on the look out." She popped her neck. "How about we don't let Togan or Elazul know just yet okay? What they don't know--won't hurt them." She sighed.
"You must be thinking that I don't trust them, but I do. Elazul could probably keep a straight face about all of this, but I'm not so sure about Togan. He's young--and human."

i glanced back at her. "i know you trust them. don't worry about it" i smiled to give her reasurance. but the thing that bothered me was the witch hunter. i could sense him close by. realy close.
i narrowed my eyes in a mixture of frustration and deep thought. "although. . . that witch hunter is close by. i think he's following us." i had the gut feeling that he was somewhere in the camp. watching us. ready to attack if need be.
i hate the feeling of someone following me when i don't even know where they are. it drove me nuts!

Nebride could sense Gren's thoughts. "Do not worry about it Gren. He will not attack until I find my brother and kill him. The With Hunter gave us three days--and if I know him--he'll keep his word. Most hunters do. I've dealt with them before."
Nebride watched carefully as the villagers shuffled on and talked amongst themselves. "It's funny--they almost feel like nosse. Family--there's a word I haven't used in a long time."

the village was crowded. i kept quiet and walked on. "this place makes me feel really uncomfertable" i whispered to nebride.
dispite the way i felt about being here, i trudged on. it's not good to complain over and over again so i just left it at 'i don't feel comfertable.

"Do we ever? We do not have the leisure to be comfortable in a crowd like this," Nebride whispered from the corner of her mouth. "Do you think they would be comfortable traveling with us if they knew what we were?"
Nebride looked around carefully at the villagers and then ticked off the other mercs. "They could find out at any time if we're not careful. They haven't noticed me yet, because I do not use magic around them--at least none that they can tell, and I keep my features well hidden."

Nebride walked next to Gren quietly for a few moments, contemplating. Finally, after arguing with herself she made up her mind. "You know Gren, when this is all over--you could come back to my tribe and stay for a while. I'm sure they will welcome you."

they had no idea he was literally standing about 10 feet from them.
his charms would not and could not be broken.
he was invisible to them.
they can sense all they like but theyd never know his true location.
hmm she would allow an outsider into her village so readily.
she must definably be the leader only they have the authority.
soo the others dont know about her either.
interesting.
and she was right 3 days is all shed get and all hed give her.

Nebride looked around slolwy. She could swear that she felt him close by. "Damn that witch hunter. I know he's close. Probably closer than I would ever want him to be." She watched as Togan walked among the villagers.
"Next time we stop for camp, I will teach him how to defend himself. Elazul has begun to teach him offense, now he must learn defense."
