((Mkay, but now she has two thingies and you have none. gonk God I feel like such an a**. sweatdrop ))
"Oh hey....!" Stephanie said, suddenly recognizing the item. In her mind she heard Tikal's warm voice saying, "This is the crystal ring. You can use it to build up power for the light speed dash." Looking at it more, Stephanie gave a little chuckle and looked at Margy. "I guess that means you had Light Speed Dash already, eh Margy?" Inside her mind Stephanie was already coming to conclusions about their "team." Margy was obviously the speed, but she and Soul didn't really have an affiliation yet. Though she was a bit confused that Soul wasn't speed since he was a hedgehog, but there were way too many high-speed hedgehogs around now adays... "They shoulda just let Silver be a stupid minx and that would have made things a little less painful...."
Stephanie turned in her place and held up the ring, waving it around slightly as it glowed. "Hey Margy, want your shiney?" She smiled warmly waiting for the inevitable pounce she'd get from the hyperactive hamster.

"I can not see this ending well." Soul said quickly and backed up a few large paces. He was trying to protect him from the soon-to-be reckless and unending 'SHINY' attack upon Stephenie. He could see a scene playing in his head now. Actually, he saw a bunch of scenarios. He counted three that resulted in loss of limbs, and one where he lost his mind. Literally.

Stephanie was looking as Soul was starting to back away, and her ears began to fold back slightly and her tail started to retreat between her legs. "Maybe she didn't hear me..." Stephanie thought hopefully, but she wasn't all too assured that this was true.

"SHINEY!!!!!!!!!!" the sound of Margy yelling out of the top of her lungs could be heard a second later after as the hyperactive hamster locked eyes with the shiny crystal ring that Stephanie found. The crazy hamster crotched down like a cat, before leaping into the air and letting out a strange sound. "RAAAAWWWWWWWWRRRRR!!!!" Margy yelled as her launched herself at Stephanie, before biting onto her hand, taking the whole ring and her friends hand into her mouth. "whiney..." margy said with a mouthful as she grinned.

"Grik!!" Stephanie tensed up, the little hamsters teeth clenched on her hand with the crystal still inside it. "Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah this was alot less painful when it was on the internet- leggo please?" She was wincing with one eye closed, and had already let go of the ring. Stephanie had no tolerance for pain, so this wasn't really cool.

Margy blinked as she held Stephanie's hand and the ring in her mouth. She blinked a bit more, before pulling back, and grinning. As she grinned, the ring could be seen clenched tightly in her teeth--which could be bad if she accident swallowed it--or at least tried to and ended up choking on it. "Wargy got shiney!!!" Margy said as she danced about happily, the ring still tightly clamped in her sharp rodent like teeth.

"Gaaaaaaaah thank you." Stephanie sighed, holding onto her hand sorely. It throbbed for a moment, until the key began to take affect once again. There was never a better time that she was happy the thing was consistant. Unfortunatley there was one thing that the key didn't help... "Ewww." Stephanie stuck her tounge out looking at her hand, which was covered in saliva. Not only had she got it on both hands, but on her shirt too.
With a "my-god-I-am-such-an-idiot-why-did-I-just-do-that" frown, she wiped her hand against some nearby grass, then the other, and then began to brush off her shirt. While doing this she looked up at Margy, who was totally elated at her new little object. With a chuckle, Stephanie gave a smile and said, "Hey if you like it now, why don't you put it on your wrist? I'm sure you'll be alot faster." She gave a grin, not really sure if that was a good thing or not.

"Faster?" Margy said, as she took the ring out of her mouth and stared at it. She blinked a bit more and began to look it over curiously. Before spin it around in her fingers. "Sooo purdy." she said, with a grin. Then began to look through her pockets. "margy found string!" she said, and slid the ring onto her neck, before tying the string to make a necklace and putting it around her neck. "There we go!" she said happily and began to run about happily. "WEEEEEEEEEEE!!" she squealed. She was running about at an incredible speed. A second later, there was a violent crash was she collided with a tree. "Oowieee..."

"Well." Stephanie said with her hands on her hips, looking over at the tree that Margy had made contact with. "I guess we can call it 'the Crystal necklace' now. I just pray that there weren't any robots left that might have heard that...." Her tail seemed to droop slightly, a twinge of fear beginning to make her stomahce ache. Knowing this world they had gotten themselves into...someone wasn't far away.... She turned and looked up at the sky, whose hue was starting to melt into purples and pinks... It would be sunrise in not too long, and hardly anyone slept a wink. Maybe it was because their new animal senses had caused them to be a bit nocturnal, she wasn't sure.
"Eh, maybe I should see if she needs this." Stephanie commented, holding onto the key around her neck. For some reason it seemed like anytime someon got any kind of injury, she found herself automatically bringing the key to them. But if things were gonna be as difficult as they were in the games...that'd probably prove useful later.
Suddenly Stephanie's ear purked slightly and she turned about toward a tree. "Cherrreep. Cherrreep." "Birds...?" Stephanie asked aloud. She heard the noise again, it was definatley birds, but none like she'd heard before... Narrowing her eyes at the tree, she found herself in a sort of tunnel vision where the blue and red figures were plainly seen. "Flickies!" Stephanie shouted gleefully, wagging her tail happily. "Aww, they're so cute! Hey Soul, are any other little animals around here? Or is it just birds?" Despite Stephanie being an animal herself, it seemed that her love for them was still there.

"Whaddya mean? Like, normal animals? Yeah." Soul said as they walked over to see on Margy's condition after slamming face first into a tree. "I almost bought a puppy recently, but... Well, I don't think I'd have much time to devout to it. As it is, I'm using up my only vacation day this week." He explained. He had had the early shift the previous day, and the excitement was too much for him to go to bed afterwards. When they arrived to Margy, he muttered, "I think I'll be taking over the last shift." He said, and then louder, "Hey Margy, are you conscious?"

Margy didn't give any reply to Soul right away. She laid on the ground motionless. It seemed that was she wasn't conscious, but then again, she did manage to hit that tree with a great deal of force. As she continued to lay there, her right foot twitched a bit, almost like an anime character's would when they hit a tree of did a face plant. "HIIKII BOOKI!!!" margy suddenly yelled out as she leapt up into the air--only to hit her head on a branch above her. "Ooowiiiee!!!!" she said, and held her head. "Stupid branch!! Margy get you for this!!" she growled, shaking her fist.

"Yay, I love puppies!" She said with a childlike happyness. Her tail was waggling happily until she remembered that she was a puppy now, which confused her a tad. Was it weird that she liked animals so much, since she was an animal as well? Were animals even the same as they were back home, or were all animals in anthro form?
It was only the great crash of Margy's poor head on a branch that seemed to tear Stephanie from her thought, to which she winced and walked over to her and Soul. "Yeesh." Stephanie said, looking at Margy with slight concern and alittle confusion. "How much bodily injury can a hamster do to itself?"

Margy sat on the ground rubbing her head. She whined a bit, before shaking her fist at the branch again--obviously ticked off at it. "Evil branch.." she mumbled. "Hurting Margy's head.." she mumbled, even though she failed to realize that she was the one that ran into it, not the other way around. "Hiiiquu?" Margy said a second later and stared at Stephanie when she heard what she asked. "Margy doesn't know." she grinned a bit. "Margy always been clutz and bumping things. Getting owies too." she said and giggled bit.

"Oh, it's cool." Stephanie said patting the hammy on the head. "I tend to be really clutzy too, only I'm not as fast as you...so I don't get as...well...injured." She scratched behind her head with a nervous smile. "Hey!" She said, looking at the branch suddenly. "You can always bite the thing in half because it was being evil to you." She gave a smile and a laugh, but then bent down to look at the branch with a bit of a cautious eye. "Only...that may not be too good an idea since you may get splinters in your mouth...that wouldn't be too fun." She let herself sit in the place that she had been kneeling, and put her finger to her lower lip. "I guess you could try to carve it into something....or you can just use it as a pretend sword." Stephanie's tail waggled slightly at the last comment, since she was fond of wooden swords herself. Her favorite out of her collection had to be her black boken...even though it had a large crack when she got it.
Suddenly Stephanie's ear perked slightly to the side, the sounds of the little Flickies was not only growing louder and more in number, the sky was turning from a deep purple to a royal blue, and it too was getting lighter and lighter. "Hm...looks like the sun's gonna be up in a few minutes....C'mon Margy-Margy." Stephanie said, holding out her hand to the little hamster. "Sorry about the lack of sleeping Soul....I guess we ended up being a tad too hyper for our own good...." She looked back at the mountain that they had been supposed to climb and shuttered...she hated that it was her that was hindering the group from going on...and from letting Soul find what he was trying to in the ruins...
"So..." She said finally, flipping her tail slightly. After noticing her Lea-like she gave a chuckle and waggled her tail, but then cleared her throat and looked back at the others. "U-Um...should we try and start toward the ruins again...? Maybe find that cable-car that leads to the Mayan part?"

Margy blinked when she heard what Stephanie suggested she did to the branch. Staring up at it, she blinked curiously for a moment and gave a bit of a grin. "MARGY WILL DO IT!!!" she suddenly screamed out at the top of her lungs, before getting to her feet and leaping into the air without a second thought. The air was suddenly filled the sound of chewing as Margy chewed vigorously at the end of the branch, digging her sharp rodent teeth into the soft bark. The crazy hamster girl chewed until the sound of a soft crack could be head. "...hiquu...?" she asked letting go of the branch, only to blink and land on her bottom a second later. "...owie.." she mumbled and rubbed her butt. "Margy got another boo-boo.." she said like a little kid. Glancing over to the stick she had, she blink...then smirk and began to chew at it again. She chew at it until she was satisfied that the stick had enough of a punsihment--but by then, she had practically destroyed the branch. The only remains of it were four, small chewed up sticks. "Ha!" Margy said. "Margy wins!!!" she cheered happily and began to hop around happily. "Hiiquu?" Margy asked, when she heard Stephanie and quickly spun around. Glancing over towards her friend's hand, she smiled widely and placed her hand into the her canine friends. "Let's a go go!" she said. "...where ever we are a go going.." she mumbled and blinked curiously, she really wasn't sure where they were going at all.
