This year marks 25 years since Hasbro introduced the legendary G.I. JOE VS. COBRA storyline, and to commemorate the anniversary, Devil's Due Publishing, Inc. has commissioned artist Chris Lie (G.I. JOE: SIGMA 6) to draw an unbelievable wraparound cover featuring EVERY well-remembered and loved G.I. JOE team member from the past 25 years! G.I. JOE: AMERICA'S ELITE #25 begins a new 12-issue story arc written by Mark Powers (Former Editor of X-Men) titled World War III, featuring G.I. JOE "Sins of the Mother" artist Mike Bear. Issue #25 is available July 4th, 2007 and contains 9 extra pages of content including a fold-out poster of the cover and special bonus features! G.I. JOE is under license from the Hasbro Properties Group, the intellectual property development arm of Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS).


CHARACTER CONTEST:

Starting on March 29th, Devil's Due Publishing will begin releasing portions of the cover to G.I. JOE: AMERICA'S ELITE #25, containing all 233 members of the G.I. JOE team. The cover will be divided into six sections total, one being revealed every Tuesday and every Friday until all six sections have been shown. The art will be available to view at www.yojoe.com, www.joereloaded.com, and www.myuselessknowledge.com!

With each section, fans can submit their guesses as to the names of the G.I. JOE team members shown. Entries should be emailed to: greenshirts@devilsdue.net.

Correct entries for each section will be placed into a pool, with the Grand Prize Winner randomly selected from these. Contestants may enter once for each new section for a total of six entries by contest's end. Emailing correct guesses for each section will increase your odds of winning.

The grand prize will be a stellar G.I. JOE gift pack including a full body sketch of the winner's favorite G.I. JOE character by Tim Seeley, select G.I. JOE hardback books, signed G.I. JOE trade paperbacks and a special 25th anniversary toy gift pack from Hasbro! The winner will be announced in the pages of G.I. JOE: AMERICA'S ELITE #25.
