At mention of the 'princess', Remy's lips tightened and his cheeks puffed slightly, obviously an attempt to hold in laughter. He was sure Aurora would just love to hear that. "Jack, "The Agile", huh? You give yourself that title or did it just come with those dashing looks?" he asked, laughter still dancing in his eyes as he took the offered hand to put to rest the man's solidity queries.

"Well, you're in luck, Mr. Agile," he said. "I happen to know this person you speak of. In fact, I'm.. her genie." Oh yes.. This princess confusion thing he liked.

Jack blushed even more at the compliment. Obviously, Remy thought he looked good too. "It was bestowed upon me when I became a full fledged knight." he replied, trying to remain formal, and not flirtatious. This was hard for him when he was staring into those captivating eyes the entire time.

"You know the princess? Perhaps you can take me to see her later, but for now, I'd much rather talk to you." he said. Afterwards, he wished he hadn't said the last part. "Get a grip, Jack..." he thought to himself. "You cant fall head-over-heels for some genie guy you barely know...no matter how attractive he is..."

In his mind ran the thought 'Oh, no. Not another knight,' Nic's sudden temper tantrum coming back to mind. But in reality, this one seemed much different than the other man. But that's also considering this was such different circumstances. Who knew how short this one's fuse was. Well, either way, he seemed to be friendly now. There'd be time to test such things later on.

"You know, I've always thought the same thing, but everyone seems so much more interested in pretty little royals," he said with not a drop of ire in his tone. In fact, it sounded light, always amused. But could he blame those people? Aurora was a pretty sight to behold. "But I see where you're coming from. I am, after all, you're savior. It's like our roles are reversed. I'm the burly knight in shining armor and you're, well... not really a genie.. So you'll just be the damsel in distress."

At the sound of the squeal, Nic nearly jumped out of his skin and almost clear off the bed as well. In that split second, Aurora didn't have to worry any longer about having to ask him to move. One leg was hanging off the bed, an arm holding onto a close by nightstand being the only thing that kept him from finding himself on the floor. He was just glad he hadn't been caught without a shirt or something! The sudden arrival of Celestine had his heart racing. How could she honestly catch them like this of all positions!? She just seemed to have the most apt ability to catch them in the worst case scenarios.

With all the blood having left his face, leaving him ghostly pale, he had no room to blush. The second the queen left the room, Nic simply allowed his arm to give out and let his body fall with a thud to the floor. Though it seemed from far away, he still heard the question. It was either that or get married, right? It didn't look as if Celestine could be talked out of this..

"Funny thing.. I was thinking nearly the same thing there for a second," Nic mumbled.

"Haha... yeah. She's... good at that, isn't she?" Aurora replied, his voice slightly breathy and empty. Celestine had quite... shocked him. More than that, actually, she had scared him shitless. For all the years he had lived with her, Aurora could never get used to the way his mother acted. Then again, he didn't want to grow used to it because that would make him just as odd and she was -- or, rather, more like his father who somehow managed to tollerate her behavior.

"A-anyway... we really... should leave. You know, before... uhh... she tries to go through with the whole true love and matrimony thing...." Dark eyes glanced up -- well, down, rather -- to catch sight of Nic. And, despite their situation and his own will, the prince let out a peal of silvery bell-like laughter at the sight that met his eyes. It was the first time he had laughed in quite some time -- certainly since he had met Nic -- and the sound of his laugh was even more beautiful than the descriptions that had passed as rumor's of the psuedo-princess' perfection. It was a laugh that was almost unlike a laugh because of its silvery tone -- excpet that the sound was unmistakably a laugh and nothing else. "Haha... Nic... you look so... so funny...!" the blond exclaimed, trying his best to contain his laughter and failing admirably.

Jack smiled. "I guess you're right in this case." he agreed, although the situation of being saved was also new to him. It had always been him saving others, it was his job. But now he was rescued by another man. It would be less obscure if Remy at least acted like a knight, but he was the complete opposite, a total joker, not a hint of discipline in him...but Jack found that attractive. Perhaps opposites really did attract. "How long have you been here? I assume you've been here for generations, serving the family." he said.

"Well, not exactly," Remy said just as his translucent lower half formed themselves into the shape of slender and quite solid legs. Settled now firmly on the ground, he continued as if this was nothing strange, which in fact, to him, it wasn't. "Ol' Hughy- the king, that is-, found my lamp several decades ago. Once he was through with me, I regretfully had to go back into my "resting state", I suppose you could call it. Me, I personally refer to it as imprisonment. But only yesterday I found myself pleasantly reawakened to the site of Hughy's offspring as my new master," the djinn explained.

"Now, if you're referring to how long I've been in existance, well.. I really couldn't answer that one. Lost count long, long ago," Remy said. "In reality, I'm just an old man on the inside, I suppose." This bit was said with amusement. At heart, he was hardly more than a meddlesome kid.

"You ask a lot of questions. Don't tell me you have a genie fetish!"

Jack listened intently, finding the whole genie thing interesting. He couldn't stand the fact that a person, let alone such a friendly one would have to suffer imprisonment like that. Then, he was hit by that last, and rather unexpected comment.

Jack blushed wildly and for some reason became extremely nervous. "Well, uh, n-n-no, I was,...What? No! I was, I mean I am just curious because I never met a genie before, an I would like to get to know you. Wait! I didn't mean...Ah!" he stuttered and stammered as he spoke, screaming in frustration at the end. He may be agile and flexible physically, but he was not mentally flexible enough to inflect his way out of that touchy area of the conversation. How very embarrassing. Jack felt his face burning and he looked down at his steel-plated thighs as he sat there in utter humiliation.

Turning his head from his awkward position on the floor, Nic looked rather... bewildered with Aurora's reaction. To say he was once more surprised would cause him to realize that this boy always left him guessing. But that laughter was just something so new! So unexpected! And after such a scene with his mother. Apparently the prince was much more accustomed to Celestine's outbursts, despite how flustered they left him. Now, however, hearing what could be described as melodious laughter, Nic couldn't remain in his dampened mood.

Smirking, he narrowed his eyes challengingly. "Oh, so I'm funny looking am I?" he asked, twisting himself so he was able to prop himself up on an elbow. "Well, that makes me feel left out. Maybe you'll just have to be funny looking with me!" And with that obvious given threat, the knight stretched a hand up to the bed to grab a handful of the sheets wrapped around Aurora and gave them a twist and a tug in attempts to pull the prince right down with him.

Taking in Jack's reaction with amusement and what looked to be glee, Remy beamed a smile before falling into laughter. Humans were just so much fun to toy with and tease! He was momentarily reminded of Aurora, seeing that blushing embarassment, after having said such comments. That is, minus the blonde prince's angry outbursts.

"Joking, of course!" the djinn chuckled, sitting back on the edge of a close by nightstand. "If you wish, your fetishes may remain hidden from mine ears and mind... If and most likely when they make themselves obvious, however, then I'll make my jabs." He invited himself to ruffle the knight's hair playfully. "Rest easy until then."

Yes. After going over several details and possibilities, Algernon believed his plan to be flawless. After his last encounter with that blondie prince and his crew of miscreants, this elf would not allow himself to be left humiliated. He wanted what he had been craving for so long. In short, a new toy. And a prince no less. He would settle for nothing less than the best, after all. Losing was not an option. And with Far Far Away's castle in plain view, the qizard smirked.

While it was his dazzling green eyes that looked upon the home of that famed "Princess" Aurora, nothing else remained the same of the elf. In fact, human ears replaced the previously pointed, more muscle built onto his slender frame, tan skin for pale, shorter black hair for long and flowing. While his features were nothing near hideous before, he now attained a different typed of sculpted beauty. He was exactly the picture one would imagine when thinking "Prince Charming".

Confident in his new disguise, the elf had no problem getting past the guards and into the castle walls. He even got himself an eager escort to the queen. Of course, a little magical "convincing" always helped here and there. But yes, it was the queen, and not Aurora, whom he hunted first. A solid strategy often proved successful, after all. And if his job wasn't becoming all the easier! It seemed Celestine was without a meddlesome husband by her side just yet. Stepping before the woman, Algernon dropped to a knee.

"My Queen," his altered, slightly deeper voice spoke. "I am Balthier, Prince of Dsurion. I've come to seek Princess Aurora's hand in marriage. I assure you, I am clearly the most suited for her." While aware of Aurora's true gender, he thought it more appropriate in this situation to refer to him as otherwise. Laced into the wizard's words laid a spell. One seeping into the Queen's mind, "convincing" as had been done to the guards. Except this time, much stronger. One could never be too careful around royals. Who knew what secrets they kept tucked away. Eyes raising from their lowered position, they had taken on a momentarily glowing state.

"Wouldn't you agree?"

But the prince just couldn't contain his laughter. "Haha...hahaha-- eeee!" That is, until Nic decided to pull the blond down with him. Aurora, being the exceedingly light-weighted and weak-limbed boy that he was, fell easily, his limbs tangling with Nic's for the second time that morning -- though this time purely by accident. Their sleeping position of the night before had been purely innocent -- or, really, it had just been Aurora's greed for warmth. Now, however, the slender teen was splayed quite suggestively on top of the other. In the rush of momentum forward, the prince's head connected with the other's for a split moment, the prince uttering a small "ow!" as his lips bumped clumbsilly -- and quite accidentally -- against the other's.

Aurora felt quite... disoriented. He was having a hard time straightening up -- partly because he was so entangled with Nic and partly because his head was spinning a bit from the bump. Finally, though, he managed to straighten up, though he had not at all distentangled himself. When at last the prince realised what sort of position they were in, his cheeks flamed up in a brilliant crimson. Shock, confusion and embarrassment had all left the prince speechless -- at least for now.

So much for his now forgotten comfort from the morning. The thump of their two heads colliding left Nic blinded with closed eyes, as if wishing this short spur of chaos to straighten itself out. But those same eyes flew open as he felt a pair of unbearably soft lips touch his own. There could have been no mistaking it was another pair of lips that had met his, yet there was no visual proof. In the split second it took him to open his eyes, they were gone.

If their little tangle, the knight wasn't helping in the least with his own struggling. In fact, he was probably making their mess worse as he twisted, pulled, and pushed in an attempt to free himself. Realizing their dilemma finally, Nic stopped moving just as Aurora sat up. He noted his reddened cheeks, figuring them to only be flushed from their early morning bind. That is, until his eyes dropped to take in their position. His only free hand, the other having somehow gotten too coiled around the sheets to move, came up to cup of his face, hiding his own blush. How was it they always ended up in this type of situation?

"Oooh, this is awkward," he mumbled, legs hardly able to move with the way the sheets wound themselves around Aurora and himself. "Should I apologize or have I used them all up by this time?" Because by now, Nic indeed found out that he had spent a lot of time saying sorry.

Jack felt somewhat uncomfortable being in this situation. He had absolutely no control over the conversation, and quick-witted Remy was getting the best of him. He moved his head away from Remy's hand, although truth be told, he wanted to keep it there. "I think I'll go see the princess now." he said, desperate to get out of this awkward situation.

"Princess?" Remy asked, tilting his head slightly in a moment's confusion. "OH! Princess, right. Aurora." Truth be told, he had nearly forgotten his personal game of leaving Aurora's little secret a surprise. Surely several men who had once seeked Aurora out was also faced with the same surprise upon finding him. He chuckled at the thought.

"Well, then. Princess you want, princess you shall have," the djinn said, pushing himself away from the nightstand. "However, I give you a warning now. I'm not sure if you've ever seen a wild, hungry tiger go after a piece of fresh meat before, buuuut.. Missy Aurora can be compared to that at times. Short temper.. But it may just be something about peaches that makes her angry." The darker haired man shrugged, tone light as always, leaving one to wonder whether he was joking this time around or not. "Crazy women."

"Can you walk?" Remy asked, looking down at the still bed-ridden knight. "Or do you wish me to carry you?"

Jack smiled widely. "As tempting as that sounds, I'll have to pass. I can walk just fine." He replied. He was somewhat eager to see the princess, yet something inside him just wanted to stay with Remy. "I wonder what the princess looks like. I bet she'll be the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on." he thought. "Why are you being so nice to me? I'm a complete stranger. I could have come to kill the princess and everyone else in the royal family for all you know." he said with a bit of a giggle.
