Blazing_Shogun "Cake? Sure." He tossed his stuff in the trash, and moved over to help out ruby. "So what kinda cake are we makin?" Ruby smiled, "blackforest cake, help me with the cherries, would you?" She nodded her head in the direction of the cherries and can opener.

Well.. I should be fine as long as she doesnt want me to try it. He grabbed the can opener and used his super speed to speed up the opening. "Anything else?" He smiled

Lumina smelled something delicious coming from the kitchen and headed that way. She popped her head through the door. "What's cookin?" She grinned, then eyed the cake and hopped over quickly. "Yay! Cake!"

Ruby smiled, putting the cake together. "Sure is, sug, sure is. And it's almost done." Ruby slipped on the very last cherry. She took a knife, cut a nice large slice and put it on a plate. "Dig in all, I'll be right back."
She put a single candle on the slice, and took the piece of cake and a fork to Arch's room. She knocked softly.

Jake turned to to see someone that made him turn a deep grean. " Lumina?! " He chocked out.

"Cake!" Lu's eyes glazed over as she looked at the cake. Cutting a piece for herself, she took a mouthful and savored it. "Mmmm... Ruby's a great cook!" Horo perched on her shoulder and leaned towards the cake. "Ok ok.. I didn't forget..." Lu dipped her finger into the cake and held it up for Horo, who mewed a thanks.
Hearing her name she looked over at Jake. "Jake!!!" She ran over and gave him a big hug.

A soft shambling was heard from behind the door as Arch made his way there, opening the door slightly. He looked terrible, like s**t rolled in dead babies and smoked by a gorilla. His face was gaunt, a lone light shining from the room, casting shadows under his eyes, not masking the fact that he was without his shades, merely masking his tear-stained eyes. "Can ah help ye..." Arch looked down at the cake, then back up at Ruby. "Ruby...you shouldnt've..." He said in the same glun voice, difficult to tell whether he was enthused or depressed all the more.

"I'm fine. Happier now that I know you're here too." Lu laughed, "You haven't changed at all Jake." Horo, who's never met Jake before, tilted her head and hopped onto his shoulder. "Oh Jake, this is Horo. I met her a while after I last saw you."

Jake smiles and pets the cat. " How are you little one..." He chuckled. " Sorry I haven't seen you guys in a while it's hard for a guy like me in the army to get any clrance to even pick my nose wit the way i look." He joked.

Reaper watched in amazement as everyone talked to Jake. "Anyone else finds this strange that he just waltzed in without security throwing a fit?!" she muttered.

Then she remembered her bags that she left in the hall. "I need someone to help me bring my bags to my room." She looked at Jake and grinned. "I haven't even upacked or anything yet."
