Aideki finished her lunch, sighing with contentment. Nothing hit the spot like a big ham sandwich and some juice-dripping fruit.
Aideki then got to her feet and left the kitchen.

((Gah...the timeline is off a bit for our little story... Pretend this already happened early this morning and you just now notice the effects. ^_^)

Shinta tiptoed silently into the kitchen. He was relieved to see that there was no one there. Opening the fridge, he took out some already-cooked rice and set about making some onigiri.

That accomplished, he opened the pantry and smiled. The thing had to be enchanted as was everything else here, for right in front sat a large package of dried fish and another of rice. He smiled and placed both in his sack. Then the onigiri wrapped in cloth. Before leaving, he placed the note he had written on the counter.

The note he had written last night read:

To Cole,
It has been my great comfort and joy to stay here these last months. I must leave now to accompany a friend on a journey. I hope to come back, but few really know what lies ahead of us. Should I not return I wish to thank you for all you have done.

To Miss Dy: I am sorry I could not be your answer. May you find happiness.

*Hikari enters the kitchen and pulls out a large copper pot. She fills it with water and sets it to boil. She starts finding spices that she needs and lines them up, waiting for the water to boil*

Dyanel appeared in the kitchen looking around. She saw a slip of paper on the counter, she leaned her head to the side, picking up the paper and reading it's contents. She smiled slightly, appreciating the fact that Shinta left a note. She looked around wondering where Marius or Cole's locations were.

She shrugged and went to the cupboard to make herself some coffee. She pulled a bag of donuts out and sat as the coffee heated. She yawned and stretched out, half asleep from just waking up.

The next moment Cheebs appeared in the kitchen next to Dyanel looking around curiously. He then stretched out and walked over to her. He had grown a couple of inches since the last time.

Dy, this teleporting thing takes a lot to get used to.

He said this taking a donut from the bag.

Dyanel gave a look at Cheebs then shrugged.

I wouldn't know, been doing it since I was your age too. I liked it.

She answered getting up. She took a cup from another cupboard and set it on the counter. She took the coffee pot and poured herself some.

Lux arrived in the kitchen in time to see Hikari teleport out. She had made a beeline straight for the refrigerator before she even noticed the elusive Dyanel sipping her coffee.

She gave the gatekeeper a polite smile before removing ingredients for a hearty sandwich.

*She walks into the kitchen the smell of the food in the air tempted her hunger even more as a smile crosses her soft lips as she licks her fangs her tail swishing happly. After a moment looking around she walks over looking for something and finds a bottle of catnip, Soup, and stew then starts cooking it up setting the catnip on the dinner table. She then sits down after she was done and starts eatting hungrly drinking her catnip her tail curled around her waist*

Dyanel stretched out as she appeared in the kitchen. Her wings flared out a bit as a ball of fluffy orange appeared on the counter in front of her.

"Dyanel... this not staying in a realm is very annoying. I'm 300 not 2000," the ball of fluff whined.

Dyanel laughed, a hint of gleam on her left hand as she reached for a coffee cup.

"Come on Cheebs, we had to tell everyone the good news. We just have to wait for Marius to arrive," Dyanel remarked moving toward the coffee pot.

She looked around seeing that for once, the kitchen was deserted.She frowned to herself as she took down a box of cookies for Cheebs.

Cheebs looked up at Dyanel and smiled to himself. In his three hundred years he had never really seen her smile or glow for that matter. He padded his way to the cookie box, jumping like a cat to the top of the box, making it fall over. He crawled in, coming out with a cookie. "These are great," Cheebs stated grinning.

Dyanel appeared in the kitchen, looking down at Cheebs who was still gorging himself on cookies. She stopped suddenly, smiling brightly and disappearing again to the Pagoda gate.
