SexyBloodAngel Everyother year my band goes to Disneyland and marches in the Holiday Parade. And everytime, people sneek into other people's hotel rooms and make-out and alot worst stuff. Everyone ends up pairing up by the end of the trip, and we don't call it band-lationships. We called Disney Magic because they never last unless the people has something before the trip. So if you go to Disneyland with your band........BEWARE OF THE DISNEY MAGIC!!!!!!! It will get you.
But they're still together, and make the cutist (if mismatched) couple because of how opposite they are. It was a real shock sweatdrop

I'm in the only bandlationship that is happening in our band, now.
I'm a horn and I'm dating a percussionist (against all odds... usually the 2 don't get along).
Anyway, I have dated a trombone, first trumpet, a snare onceuponatime, and now my percussionist.
I guess in band I'm kind of the queen of it... How sad.
Oh well.
Others do it, too. It's a very secretive thing. And usually the band girls date older graduated band guys.
It's really sick and twisted, this band dating thing.

Recent bandlationships in my school =
Clarinet X Trumpet
Mellophone/French Horn X Bassist
Sax X Clarinet (( well.. not anymore.... sorry man if you read this UKWUR ))
Baritone X Flute (( not anymore also... ))
yeah.. i'm not in any, GLADLY not in any of them now... I don't think that i want to be in a bandlationship for two reasons, i'm graduating, i need to think outside of band. And also because it's band people, being together on a trip with your Sig other is not the best thing in the world for the relationship.... yeah.. don't ask.

There are very few people who actually date out-side of the band. Even then, those are the people who only take the class. The real band kids stay in the band or just don't date. Think about it, we have no time outside of all the extra-curricular band activities and stuff, it's the only time you see people. If you dated outside of the band, you would never see them. I tried once, it didn't work out. Then my sophmore year I dated a clarinet, starting august. It last a whole year and ended on good terms (he left for college, so it was just like, "hey good times I'll miss you, have a good life). And this year (junior) I dated a tuba (August-May). Unfortunately, that didn't end so well...but w/e.
We have this one couple that's been together for 2 years. They are SOOO nasty. See, they keep this nasty journal where they write bad things to eachother (like...EWWW bad things). They are incredibly stupid. They left it OPENED in the BAND ROOM. They actually had the gall to get angry when people read it and made fun of them. evil
stare Seriously, don't leave things in the band room that you don't want people to see. And, they shouldn't even have that thing in the first place... EWWW!!! eek

In my school, it seems when it comes to dating the band stays together.
Well the current relationships in band we have are:
Flute/Picc/ColorguardXOboe/Mallets (me and my boyfriend)
BassClarinetXBaritone/Sousaphone (sweetest couple ever, and the longest one so far in band! 2 and a half years)
Flute/PiccXFrench Horn (They're very PDA)
FluteXTuba (Both are outstanding musicians)
Wishful thinking couples:
ColorguardXClarinet (actually it's a love triangle, one clarinet's after the colorguard girl and the colorguard girl is after another clarinet guy)
ColorguardXBaritone (We're trying to set them up... even though the Baritone's a Senior... and the CG girl, another one, is only a Freshman)
BaritoneXSax (They went to prom together?)
But also "Band-lationships" is a very entertaining word.

We have manymanymany bandlationships.
I dated a BT, a tenor in the drumline, then a sax, and now a trumpet.
...and that's just one person.
...like i said, manymanymany.
