The nurse was looking down at her sheet of paper calmly as she heard this guy speak. But as she looked up and realised who was in his arms, she stood up in a fluster. "Hold on sir, I'll get the main doctor..." she rushed out, running through some doors until she came across a middle aged man with well groomed blondehair and sleek glasses.
"Doctor... the hokage has been poisoned!" the nurse blurted, obviously upset. He looked shocked for awhile and looked at the kid on the table. "Sorry kid, I'll be back soon, alight? Sue, you know how to mend a broken arm... you tend to this while I do the hokage..." he ordered, taking it very calmly.
Briskly he walked to the front and saw Shögo with Cerbi in his arms. He bowed slightly before him before putting his arms out, offering to take Cerbi. "Sir, I'll take good care of her. Please give her to me so we can start the treatment right away..."

Shögo felt slightly reluctant in giving Cerbi up to the man, even if he was a doctor to help Cerbi, he didn't want it to just end like that.
"I'm staying with her, just take me to where you need her...."
He looked sternly at the man intent on keeping his word, he may not have known Cerbi for long, but there was more to her to him than any girl he's ever been around and wasn't going to just let her go so easily.

The doctor shook his head, but looking at Cerbi's condition, he knew they didn't have much time.
"Follow me..." he started to walk down a small hallway, and then to the right into a big room. It was split into two different parts, the patient part where there was a bed, bedside table and many medical devies. The other side was the doctors side, containing one wall of books, and a desk for writing notes on. Immediately the doctor started taking some books out, and throwing them on his desk. He flipped through a couple and took some quick notes for a temporary solution.

Shögo followed him almost riding on his heels into the room where he would look over Cerbi, looking around for a short bit he set her head on the pillow and layed her out on the bed. Stroking his hand across her forehead he moved her hair from her face staring down at her. He felt at fault for letting this happen to her, even though he knew full well there wasn't anything he could've done to prevent what happened, he still wanted there to have been something he could do.

The doctor walked over, and performed many tedious tasks on Cerbi. He took her temprature, monitered her heartbeat, and many others. When he was done, he went back to his deskand scribbled down a few notes. It wasnt too long before he put the life support mask on Cerbi. He switched it on and placed a couple of sterilized needles into her that were connected to drips.
When that basic stuff was done, he grabbed a couple of herbs and various things from a shelf near his desk. He put them in a small bown and mixed them together, crushing them and adding water to make it more of a solution. The solution was made and he eyed Cerbi with a careful eye. He poured the antidote into a needle, then pressed the needle through the flesh of Cerbi's other forearm and injecting the antidote into her system. When all that was done, he took it out, threw it in a special bin and let out a big sigh.
"That will be a good short term solution, but we need to research it more for the future..." he said to Shögo, avoiding his eyes. He felt bad he couldnt say much at the moment. He didnt have a direct way to know what potion it was, so he was basing this on past experience and the knowlae through the books.

Shögo watched as the doctor did what he could for Cerbi. He sighed lightly and rubbed the back of his head looking down at Cerbi. He felt pretty useless not being able to do anything but stand around and hope she'd get better soon.

Cerbi was unconcious for a couple of hours, nothing really changing. It just seemed like she was in a deep sleep. The only thing that showed that she was unwell, was the life support. Eventually, Cerbi's eyes slowly opened, she squinted, her eyes getting used to the light first. The first thing she felt was a small amount of pain, and a physical weakness. She raised a hand to her forehead and let out a small groan.
"Alright, what large animal ran me over...?" she asked in a small daze. She tried to sit up, but she barely managed to lift her head. She instantly decided she didnt like this. She took off the mask around her head, and placed it on the desk beside her. The doctor walked over and gave her a small smile.
"Cerbi-sama... I couldn't get the poison out of your system..." he said solemnly, trying to give her a reashurring smile. "The only way I could save you was to direct most of your chakra to super boost your immune system," he started, sitting down by a chair by her bed. "Since all your chakra is keeping you alive, you should never overexert yourself, or use up any chakra. If you do, the poison might take over and you may... pass away..." he continued, looking away. It was always hard for him to tell people these kind of things. "Even with the chakra... I'm afraid you will... deteriate... faster than all of us..."
Cerbi was shocked to say the least. It was no wonder that she was feeling so weak, she WAS weak. She just stared at her hand in discust. She'd almost rather be dead than be like this. "This can't be... happening....." she said softly, tears gathering in her eyes.

Shögo stepped into the room where Cerbi was being taken care of. He'd stepped out to find something to eat as it'd been awhile since he'd brought Cerbi to the hospital and she seemed to be out for a long time. He'd rather not deprive himself of some nutrients if he'd expect to be there keeping an eye on her. He smiled lightly and came up to the side of the bed next to her.
"Hey, how you feelin' Cerbi?"
He set his hand over hers lightly and smirked faintly.

She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand. How was she supposed to keep up her job if she couldn't use any jutsu? She sat up slowly and leaned onto him, berrying her face into his stomach. She let out a couple of soft sobs. Her strength had gone from unimaginably powerful, to none existant. This was all her freedom flying out of the window. She was mad at herself for being so openingly trusting. Once she had let out a couple of tears and a few sobs, she layed back down with a plump and wiped her eyes again.
"Shögo... what am I supposed to do? I only get to live half my life.. and it's barely worth it because I can't use any jutsu.... how am I supposed to protect the whole village like this?" she asked, looking at the ceiling blankly.

Shögo stared down at her blankly with the thoughts running through his mind with what would become of the village of konoha now that she is incapable of serving the village in the state she is.
"I don't know Cerbi-sama...."
He kept his glance down at her still, he wanted to help, but he knew little of medical techniques to be of any assistance to her in that aspect, the most he was capable of was fighting. Not entirely a role model for what seemed like the kind hearted Konoha.

[Lol. Now that you mention it, the whole reason I wanted you to become Hokage was because I was busy with hockey. Hockey is now over so I have too much free time. If you dont mind, I will stay as Hokage for a little longer, teehee.]
Cerbi looked down but then looked up at Shögo, determination in her eyes. "I guess, I may not be able to protect my village that well, but what if you were to help me? I just love this village so much... I just dont want to let it go..." she sighed as she looked back down.
"Someone very close to me gave up his life for me... he intrusted this village to me... I really dont want to give that up..."

[lol I was hoping not to be hokage but was going to take it if it was truly needed rolleyes anyways compromise, you be the political head I'll be the muscle :3 rofl ]
Shögo rubbed the back of his head vigorously. He had no bond to konoha like Cerbi had, the only thing that tied him to konoha was her. Sighing lightly he looked over at her for a moment.
"If you need me to help I will, it would only be for you. I have no attachments to this village like you. Even the village I was raised in, I've felt slightly out of place. I never showed the real me around the villagers, the side that you saw when you were poisoned. They'd never seen it before, atleast that I know of, I've always trained in seclusion..."
He stopped for a moment then smiled lightly.
"Sorry started to ramble off there. It's up to you Cerbi-chan what you do with your position to serve the village."
He set his hand on hers lightly and smiled faintly.

[Damn right. =3 ]
Cerbi gave him a smile and wiped away the last of her tears. It wasnt the end of her reign, but was just the beginning. She sttemped to stand up, but stumbled. She grabbed onto Shögo's shoulder. Her legs were weak, they werent used to that kind of inactivity.
"This village means a lot to me. But it means more that you are willing to help me." Cerbi managed to say before falling back onto the bed. She was having a little difficulty, she would admit.

"I'm sure things will work out, I'll be of assistance wherever you need me."
He smirked lightly setting his hands to his sides lightly.

[You wish. =P ]
Cerbi pouted. She refused to ask for help, that was just the kind of girl she was. She tried to stand back up again, but her legs gave out so she collapsed onto the floor. She sat there, just pouting. She was no where near used to this, and regretted spending the rest of her life in this weak state. She'd probably exercise anyways.
The doctor came back in and gave Cerbia dissaproaving look, who was still sitting on the floor. "I'm guess the statement, 'I've fallen and I can't get back up' applies to you?" he remarked sarcasticly, rolling his eyes. "You really shouldnt be up and about right now, but I guess I cant stop you," he said, shaking his head side to side. "Anyways, Cerbi-sama, you will still need to check in with us every month or so, just so we can make sure everything is going fine," he continued. After that he left, leaving Cerbi to look up at Shögo.
"So, shall we leave?"
