"No problem" he replies with a smile. "Here, this is yours" - he unties her necklace from his wrist, and hands it to her. Cady took it from you. Looking at her, he notices how weak she was currently. "..You should rest. Back at the hideout" he suggests.

*She takes her necklace and slips it into her pocket. She attempts tot stand slowly, but falls back down to her knees immediately. She closes her eyes slowly.*
"Maybe.. I'll just stay here.."

"..I don't think so" he says as he lifts her back up, carrying her. Looking up at the man hole cover, he doubts he could get back up there now, so starts to walk along the tracks for the next platform. From there, he emerges from the tunnels, blood pouring from his hands and carrying a beaten looking Rikku. Waiting passengers look at them confused, probably attempting to call the cops. But he moved on, up the stairs and towards the hideout.

*She closes her eyes and rests her head against his shoulder, she decides to take no notice of the mortals. She mumbles so only he can hear.*
"Are your hands.. Alright?"

Jax exits a subway train. He rode it out of boredom, wondering how far it went and how long it took. On the train a two kids, a boy and a girl, are running around disturbing the passengers with a ball that their throwing back and fourth. One of the two blindly throw the ball and the other one misses the ball travels straight for Jax's face. JAx catches the ball and looks at iit for a second. There is a picture of Mikey mouse his dog Pluto.
"Mister can we have our ball back please?" The boy asks politely.
"I don't know can you?"
A couple seconds pass as the young child consideres his question and says "Yes." Hoping he answered the question right.
"Sure, here you go." He hands the ball back and warns. "Be careful someone else might not be so nice."
Jax exits the train. He wonders to a bench and sits one it, the cold initially chills him but after a short while it warms up underneath him.

After a while of waiting for something to happen. He left and decided to go to the only place he knew of that had a good bartender.

she stood at the station waiting for the subway and looked around. the vampires controlled it but no one was doing much. she jumped down the rails and listened. she jumped back to the waiting area. she sat down for the sound she heard was a long way off.
