Ashura wandered the streets of Union City. He had woken from his sleep by mental images of speaking to someone, but he couldn't quit tell who. All he knew was that if he wandered, he would find them.

"Sleepless as always, Ashura?" Erica moved out of her stealth. She stood in the moonlight her dark hair draped in front of half her face, a spark of cyan glowing from her eyes. Despite the glow of her eyes, the look on her face was somewhat morose. It was the reason she chose to show herself to him, even if he had been trying to kill her earlier. Too many memories still haunted her. Too many memories still haunted them both.

Ashura stood motionless at first, still facing away from her. "I knew it was you...Erica." He turned to face her and smiled. "I don't dream much...but when I do it is something that must happen." He looked to the ground for a moment, and then looked back up at her. "Tell me. Why are we still alive? There are countless times that we should not have come back when we did...what makes us tick?"

standing up, Shockwave brushes himself off and follows the trail of blood. seeing it turn into an ally way he looks up to see Minerva holding some explosives.

"Fate? The endless desire to survive no matter the suffering we put ourselves through? Or just simply bad luck?" Erica shrugged. "I've asked all of those same question. And here I am, still wandering the streets. Lost." She pulled a lock of her hair out of her face and behind her ear. She still had the three pale freckles on her nose. A faded shadow of the girl who had once terrorized Flippyville. "Are you still as untouchable as ever? You were always so cool and distant. It always bothered me." She smiled with with a small shake to her head, the moonlight painting shadowy pictures on her face and in her hair. "I could make the best of them squirm. I could hit the nerve of every hero, every villain, and leave them yelling and flustered. You'd get angry. I know it. I'd feel it. But you were like ice, cool and remote. Nothing got past that barrier, you were completely untouchable."
She glared at him her eyes glowing with a light blue mist. "You made me so mad. I would purposely mock you, sing that awful song, insult you, humiliate you, anything to get passed that damned shell. Jealousy, I think, I wanted that shell for myself. I wanted to be cool, collected, untouchable, I wanted your strength for my own. But then...then I just wanted..." She paused, her eyes looking away. "Even when I changed my tactics, I never got passed that cool demeanor. Not kindness, not warmth, nothing ever seemed to phase you. Untouchable."

Dark Chaos2 standing up, Shockwave brushes himself off and follows the trail of blood. seeing it turn into an ally way he looks up to see Minerva holding some explosives. Minerva held the explosive loosely in her hand, preparing to throw it in case Shockwave made any move. Her other hand rested over a small button device on her belt. "Move on, bloodhound, it'd be better for you."

The moment he was gone, Minerva started to limp away. She dragged her hand along the side of the alleywall for support. She hoped if anything Bobby was faring better.

Ashura nodded solemnly. "That shell was all I had..." He looked at her eyes, waiting for them to meet his again. "I wasn't completely untouchable." He muttered. "You reached me in a way nobody else did, but then I left for a while, and I lost that touch. The events in Flippyville and Haven changed me Erica. I'm no longer who I always wanted to be. I'm not...myself." He looked down at the ground. "Erica...I have a favor to ask of you..." He muttered again, staring at the concrete below them.

"Now look, I'm guessin some of you all got children' wives, so we're gonna move over'n free them. Any of you who wanna head out now, we'll have one of ours lead you out of the city, the rest can come help us release the other prisoners." Alloran eyed the crowd, a good portion moving to leave, some staying.About ten of the slaves offered to follow after alloran, the remaining twenty decided to head with Ruby outside of the city.

"As long as the majority of y'all are quieter than me I think we'll be okay." Ruby whispered to the crowd as she moved towards the outside of the building. She kept an eye on the guards as they moved around, feeling for a heartbeat outside the walls. When the general area seemed clear she started sneaking through, the other following behind her. The man who had seemed so familiar was a few steps behind her, something about him was still bugging the back of her mind, but she attempted to stay focused on the task at hand. She needed to get the people to the otherside of the wall....then of course, take a few recruitment oppurtunities as always.

Ashura saw the look that Erica had given him and shook his head. He looked back up at her, and took a step towards her. "Let me think of you like I did then...and then..." He looked her in the eyes and smiled weakly. "And then I want you to kill me."

((Sorry fer the postin'... er, lack thereof.))
Alloran took the other ten guys, and began to sneak over to the other cages. The cameras aimed at those cages would be terribly blurred by heat waves, courtesy of Alloran. He quickly began to open locks, insisting silence with a growl as he tried to usher them out quickly.
