The older Tainted snorted at the young white dragon. He had no intention of sitting around here for much longer. It was time to be on their way.

"Do what you want little dragon. I don't intend to be near you when you go and tell your big heroic knight. He'll flip if he learns of my exsitence." He winked at the youngling. "Now, wheather it is you or someone else who spills the beans, well, we will find out, won't we?" he chuckled soflty, and Thara gave Aaliyah a mocking grin as the two walked out of the cavern.

"You never know," Viscal whispered encourgingly, "maybe one day you will be a knight too. Though, if you do become one, I'm as sure as Hell not hanging around you, darling," the blue dragon only ment it as a joke, but there was a hint of truth in his last comment. He was dead serious about her becoming a knight. She had the stuff to be one.

The two dragons and the vampire exited the caverns, following behind Aaliyah, not quite sure what they were going to do. Though, Grishmak might go against what he said and follow the dragon to the knights. He just wanted to see the looks on their faces when a Tainted and a dragon wearing one of Tarketh's spurs entered with a youngling who Lierce seemed like he liked enough to make into a knight.

Vastina had heard more then enough for the moment. The big white and red splashed dragon's words about not caring about the raid had unnerved her. Rue was more then ready to go with Aaliyah to tell the elder dragons. The purple Ascended youngling walked out of the cavern and looked to Aaliyah to lead them to the knights. She still had no idea about such things.

Even as Avalene started to circle back around the skirts of the town Risen moved as well. She had said that he didn't feel right...however she didn't relize just how close he was still to her or how correct she was. He could feel that the on coming war was close at hand. Too close as far as he was concerned. He moved a bit quicker then he intended as he soon relized when the prophetess in plan view of him.

With a bit of a mental sigh, the two just listened to the others in the room silently before watching several of the others leave the area. As silence took over again, Astalder and Blade exchanged glances as neither was really quite sure where to go here while Aayliyah started to make her exit.

"Should we go with her? Or try and track those two dragons?" asked the black dragon while stretching out his limbs as he peered out the exit.

"They're probably way too far for us to even get close. We're not even sure where they're headed exactly.."

Nodding to this, the youngling just started to head out, trotting lightly to catch up with the white dragon. His human friend simply shook his head at this before moving to join with them. While a part of him did wish that they could do something about all of this, the other part didn't really want to get any more involved right now.

"Isn't there something else we could possibly do...?"

Aaliyah bristled a little at Viscal’s words. Well, not his words so much… the fact that he apparently thought she had what it took to be a knight made her happy, but she was darkly suspicious that he was being sarcastic. The word ‘darling’ annoyed her though, as it did virtually any female. No young female wanted to be called ‘darling’ by a complete stranger. There was just something wrong with that.

“You know, since you two don’t want to have anything to do with the Dragon-Bound Knights and since we’re going towards them, maybe you don’t want to follow?” she suggested once she realized that Viscal and Grishmak were indeed following. No doubt, she decided, there was something in the male mind that made them all stupidheads.

Except for Astaldar, apparently, since he seemed at least sane. She excluded Blade and Rue from the category of ‘male’ simply because they were human. “I’m not sure what else we can do,” she answered, having considered that question herself not too long ago. “The best thing I can think of is to tell Master Lierce and see what he says.”

Hey, that’s right! If anyone knew what they were supposed to do, it would be Master Lierce! Filled with relief, she trotted just a little bit faster. The Knights’ cavern wasn’t that far ahead, as she recalled.

Grishmak laughed out loud at the younglings comment about the fact he was following.

“I feel like I have to go,” he whispered, not at all joking anymore, instead he seemed very serious. “Deep down past the cold exterior of my heart, I feel like I should do something,” he glanced around, “just don’t tell anyone. Just think what it would do to my reputation. What kind of Tainted am I? Feeling sorry for some humans.” He laughed, startling Viscal who was eyeing the cave walls. The older dragon seemed to ponder something for the moment, “Pay no mind to Viscal, he calls everyone Darling. He likes getting on peoples nerves.”

Thara hurried to catch up to Grishmak, glancing nervously at the other humans in the group, almost like she didn’t trust them. Though, it may have been her vampire side trying to hide from the humans that shunned her. Viscal meandered down the tunnel silently, pondering why Grishmak had decided to go to the knight’s cavern as well. He didn’t bother trying to figure out what his brother was saying to the white dragon. He really wanted to avoid talking to any of the dragons. He didn’t want them asking questions about him. He disliked questions.

Alter remained silent, though she had made a little protest when Avalene had made to let go of her hand. Even when she got up into Dulcimer's saddle, she didn't really fight at all. "But you're not going to die," she said in a tiny voice to Avalene. She tilted her head, loose red hair catching the light in a strange way. And as the prophetess made her way away, she sighed and seemed to shrink even smaller than she was. This lady was scary, not like Miss Avalene; she felt even less safe, and more scared, than ever before.

"My mama and papa live near the big butcher," she said after a moment, to Dulcimer's mane. "In the red house."

Avalene's parting words were followed by a final nod from the ranger. "Same to you," she said prior to shouting "... and keep to the shadows!" before Avalene bolted out of range. Jay shifted the reigns to one hand. Her other arm moved to wrap around her charge who was sitting in front of her. An unsettling silence began to fill the gap left by Avalene until the young girl described her house.

"Near the butcher's place, eh? Shouldn't be too hard to find then," Jay answered the girl, fending off the silence for a moment. The town ahead wasn't large from what she had been told.

With a slight dig of her heels and a flick of the reigns, the ranger urged the horse into a trot as she watched the road ahead. "I'm afraid if we're going to hurry, for the Lady Avalene's sake, I'm going to ask you to hold on tight, Miss........." There was a pause as Jayara fished her memory for the name that escaped her.

"Didn't get your name back there, did I? And probably not willing to share it after that big mess either, I reckon," the ranger added regretfully, though not shying away from the topic. "I'm Jay. Got a good grip there yet? The ride'll be a bit bumpy," she said as Dulcimer started to pick up speed.

She clung onto Dulcimer's mane, knuckles going white. "M' big brother lets me ride his horsie sometime, when 'm good," Alter mumbled, still talking to Dulcimer's ears. "Bu' yeah, right next to mister Helik."

As the hoofbeats grew in frequency, Jayara leaned forward in the saddle not only to get a better hold of the girl, but to hear her words as well.

"So you like horses? What's the name of your brother's horse?" Jay asked as she guided Dulcimer to the town ahead. With the name from Alter, it would probably only take stopping someone in town for directions - provided she could get someone to stop and talk to her. The cold shoulder was not uncommon for random travelers sometimes. It came and went with the town and territory you were in from her experience.

-Few days past as Crevan search for something or someone to play with... and he stopped and licked his fangs.-
"I suppose little Crevan needs food now."
-Crevan clawed the dirt for he knew that he was being fallowed for some time and he was growing rather tired of it who knows this man could be hunting him. So Crevan would decided this is where it stops. He jumped up and climbed up in a tree right above the Man in the Dragon Scaled Armor and purposely broke a branch above his head.-

"what the?......."
-the man grabbed the branch and looked at the hatchling he has been fallowing and tossed it to the side as Thunder stopped in her tracks-

-Crevan growled in a low tone for a warning-

"I see you knew we were fallowing you for some time now."
-the man pulled out some dried meat and waved it in front of Crevan-
"Come on I know you haven't eaten."

-Crevan Growled really loud and showed his little fangs to the man not taking the food-

-The man new he was going to act this way and he went in his bags and grabbed a chain mail net and toss it at Crevan attempting to catch him with out harm.-

-Crevan jumped right on top of the horse digging his claws into the horse as it reared from the stinging pain witch startled Crevan and his only instinct was to hold on with everything so he bit down on the back holding on as the horse started to run and tried to buck Crevan.-

"HEAVENS OF THE DAMN!"
-the man cried out aloud as he saw the hatchling attack his horse and pulled the net out of the tree chasing after the horse till he caught up with the horse-

"Whoa Thunder... hike hike...."

-Crevan was tossed off the horse after the first word which some how calmed the horse to a stop by the second one even though he was flung of he had a good chunk of horse flesh in his mouth and before he was able to snap out from his fall the heavy net was flung over him and he was thrown over a branch in a tree.-

-the man pointed Directly at Crevan in a upset tone-
"You stay there and try not to harm yourself"
-the man checked out the damage on his horse and simply shook his head as he pulled out his sword and ready to swing it.-

-The Man Swung down ward with his sword-

-Crevan quickly swallowed his meat and Screech a desperate call for help that silence all the birds in the lands and seemed it echoed for ever.-

-with the blood dripping of his sword as a heavy thud hit the ground the man looked at Crevan with cold eyes-

"Your not worth this trouble, why did I even listen to Drac."
-From the mentioning of the name the man lightly touched the scales of his armor and sighed-

-Crevan wriggled slightly in the net but was trying to stay still at the same time after just seeing the man kill his horse.-

"I told you not to move... your scales aren't to strong enough to with stand large cuts."

-Crevan pause as he looked at the man.-

- The man walked over to the bag and started piecing quickly a box like cage with metal bars.-

"Lucky for you your still small and you can fit in this."

-Crevan didn't like the sound of what the man said and went to a low growl-

-the man looked at Crevan and walked up and grabbed the net and placed Crevan in the cage net and all-

-Crevan tried to bite through the chain but his efforts weren't worth it and when he was place in the cage he didn't move for the moment and growled loudly for he didn't like the way he was being handled.-

"go ahead make your sounds... they don't strike any fear to me."

-the man went over his supplies and then looked at his dead horse and shook his head and he started to cut her up in pieces and started placing them in the cage.-

-Crevan moved slightly away from the meat and the net fell off of him. Crevan looked at the net as it simply fell off and was glad he could move a bit more but then he could only see through bars and his roof was metal let alone so was his ground and stayed in one corner of the cage.-

"you haven't eaten properly for weeks now, I suggest you eat."

-Crevan growled-

"DON'T PLAY STUPID RAVAGE ANIMAL WITH ME, I KNOW BLOODY HELL THAT YOU UNDERSTAND EVERY WORD I SAY, SO EAT THE MEAT BEFORE IT SPOILS, AND I LOSE MY HOLD ON MY RAGE FOR KILLING MY BEST HORSE AND ALAS THROW YOU IN THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER TO DROWN."

-Crevan eyes widen as the words of threat was about him and he thought to himself, 'you were the one that chose to kill your horse and trap me... you should be thrown in the river and drown.' that was the first time Crevan was actually fearing for his life let alone knew he did no wrong but yet he was at this two legged human mercy, why was this one was set on threatening him as the one in the Cavern was helping the other dragons, but Crevan was hungry and he slowly started eating the meat being offered hoping someone did here his cry.-

-after they spent no more than an hour by the man in armor's choice, he cleaned his sword and tied some branches and cloth around the cage to prevent Crevan from trying to bite through the bars.-

-Crevan laid quietly waiting for some type of luck to be with him but the longer he waited more he realized that no one would even consider helping him considering only few knew he was even alive, and those that did seemed busy with more important things, but as his cage got darker from the branches let alone the cloth. He felt his eyes grow heavy and the fact that his stomach was indeed full only helped him slip to a heavy sleep like state, to hope maybe this wasn't real.-

-The man sighed as finally the Hatchling fell asleep and he tied ropes around the cage.-

"There that's good of you to make this more easier for the both of us."

-the man lifted the loops of ropes over his shoulder and then slowly lift the cage up on to his back and then reinforce the cage on his back with more rope to help it from falling.-

"now since your so young, i am going to have to take you back with me till you become strong enough and big enough to fallow the path you need to take."

-Crevan only slightly growled at the words but he thought as he slept, 'path.... '

The Knight's Halls were guarded by only a dragon squire who watched the approaching group with interest. Then his eyes lit on Grishmak and he hissed. His wing fins spread unconsciously and it was only an effort that forced them to lay flat against his back again.

"State your business," he said tonelessly, still watching Grishmak, "and make it quick. The Knights have enough to concern themselves with right now."

Behind him, the halls seemed oddly quiet, almost deserted. In fact, the entirety of Genyiel was starting to feel a bit emptier than it had when all the dragons had first arrived.

-----------------------------

Avalene made her way slowly through the outskirts of the town, cutting through a couple fields before finally reaching a place where she assumed Jay would be able to find her again. She sat down, smoothing out her skirts and wishing she still had her veil on her again. There were butterflies in her stomach, little tremors of warning that something was going to happen. It was like there were dark clouds on the horizon but every time she looked, the sky was clear.

It would be dark soon. She knew that at least. And tonight frightened her more than any other.

Not too far off she caught a glimpse of a figure. That... thing. The human-not-human. She frowned. As much of a curse her visions seemed to be it frustrated her that she couldn't read his fate. At all. Not even a hint. Well. The ranger wasn't back yet. Avalene stood.

"Hey!" she called out at him, "C'mere, you. I want to talk."

"Alright.."

After glancing back at his human friend for a moment, Astalder just picked up his pace to catch up with the other dragons. Despite the way Blade seemed to be a bit disgruntled about their decision, this was really the only thing they could do right now, as Aaliyah had stated.

Looking around as they had come to the Knight's Hall, Blade just remained silent, deciding to let one of the dragons do the speaking here.
