This year we did a Ray Charles Show. We played:
1. Georgia (On My Mind)
2. Let the Good Times Roll
3. America the Beautiful
4. Hallelujah I Love Her So.
We didn't do as well as we did with 2-years back, the Chuck Mangione Show, but we did good for loosing 52 seniors and gaining 34 newbies.

Gah, I hated it. D:
Our freshman show was better [06-07 season]. It was Styx. :B

We did A Tale of Star-Crossed Lovers. heart Our show featured music from Romeo and Juliette and West Side Story. It was really cool. Our marching band has over 100 people in it, so there was a ton of blocking, but it turned out really cool exclaim

I theme was America but wasn't that good though. Our school color's were green and white. We had alot of flags in the show.

Ok well this year 2007 we did Romeo and Juliet and West side story xD
Kinda sucks compared to your but it was cool .. hope next years will be fun and better. ... marching season over Dx lol

This year sucked. It was titled 'Heavy Metal' and it featured
Hendrix (stuff like fire and his SSB) Which I don't consider metal
One by Metallica- They said it was based on a live version of One, but the only thing that remotely sounded like it was introduction.
Enter Sandman by Metallica- This wasn't too bad.
Blackdog/Kashmir- I don't consider Led Zepplin metal either, but they are lock legends.
Last year's show was much better. We owned at everything. Titled "Portriats in Blue" it featured
Blue Rhondo a la Turk
Blues in the Night
Gaah I can't remember the last two.

I'm about to be a third year, and my last show was "Friday Night Frights" The color gaurd had black and green flags, and we all wore white makeup and tried to make ourselves look like zombies. Our songs were Tocotta, Twilight Zone, Thriller (Yes, Michael Jackson), and Evil Ways. It was really fun. especially because we got to do the Thriller dance with the dance line. Lol. heart

It's a damn shame I graduated high school in 2007. The 07-08 theme was a compilation of 80's music complete with Van Halen, Cyndi Lauper (oy!), some others, and finished off with Bon Jovi. It was really quite awesome. I missed it... sad
I finished off my marching band years with the show, "The Founding Fathers of Funk." It was awesome, but not my favorite.
The most awesome show I ever played was called, "Heavy Hitters." Who was in it? Start out with some Metallica, add some Zeppelin, and top it off with a splash of Guns n Roses. THE BEST show ever. <3

we did an original composition by our pir instructor.
it was called "fusion" sweatdrop
there are still so many "fusion" jokes circling around in band still. XD
