Andrew sighed inwardly. He supposed they weren't going to get anywhere tonight. He put on a smile and nodded. "Um, is there any way someone could go back to your place and get your stuff?" he asked as he led him upstairs. He had managed to get by, but he wasn't sure Dawnie's bank account could take another spree. Although, he had been forced to go shirtless for a little bit because of it... he pushed those thoughts out of his mind.

jelloh0530 Buffy walked in the back door for a change. She had spent the afternoon in town, and since no one had given her a ride, she had walked in those stiletto boots that were obviously spawned from Payless's butthole. After seeing the travel agent, she busted out the credit card Giles had given to her for the emgergency fund, and bought a cute pair of black adidas running shoes. They didn't go with the feminine suede look, but like hell was she walking home in the shoes from Hades. Good news? Finally found decent priced tickets to Prague. Bad news? Good price equaled waiting a month, and taking 3 connecting flights, no one ways. And she had let that damned evil travel agent talk her into staying at a youth hostel. "I'm pampered. Darn it. The horrid Watcher's Council has corrupted me. Spoiled, I say."This she announced to the huge crowd in the kitchen. She immediately noticed the guy she had seen in Spike's room this morning. "Um, hey. Anyone able to explain all the new stuff going on? Cuz... guys... I'm having a blonde day." She tugged at her newly trimmed shoulder-length golden locks[. "Oh... too late."Faith spotted Buffy walking in the back door, as she stirred the Mashed Potatoes and popped them back in the microwave. "B, we need to have a talk for a second. Will you come to the den with me?"Faith had a glint of seriousness around her, as she waited for B to answer back.

"Ah, yall don't have to do that...I can go get my stuff. I'll just go at one in the morning or something. They probably won't be there. I think they figure I'm staying here for a little while." Atticus mentioned, shrugging.
Atticus followed Andrew upstairs, looking around at the mansion and how big it was. He had never lived in a place like this. "Nice set-up yall have here. Who's is it?"

Buffy nodded. So much for steak and a clothes change...
"Lead the way, Faith." She said, then contradicted herself by heading out of the kitchen, grabbing someone's plate of food on the way out, and going down the hall into the den.

Faith followed and closed the door behind her, and got straight to the point.
"Dude, uh Atticus, in there was being chased by 3 scrawny looking guys earlier. Andrew helped him out by bringing him here. I tried to get him to tell me more about why they were following him, but he won't spill the info. He just says that he must have pissed off their boss, and leaves it at that, but i think there's something he knows that hes not sayin, B. What do you want to do?"

"Yeah, we picked him up last night.. but I didn't know the whole deal."
She sat in a chair and thought for a few minutes.
"You know... maybe I should give Ry a call....", she murmured.

Faith raised her eyebrows, and chuckles.
"You mean Soldier Boy?"
Faith unconsiously licked her lips remembering what she did with Riley when she inhabited B's body.
"I wouldn't mind seeing him again."

Buffy stood up and prepared to head back for some food.

"I trained earlier, but as for the newbies, I haven't seen Steph or Lucie at all, but then I've been busy. I'll find out where his apartment is and swing by. Grab some of his stuff for him. Go eat. There's Mashed Potatoes in the Microwave. I'll be there in a bit."

Andrew shrugged. "I suppose. The Watcher's Council owns it, technically, but it's pretty much Buffy's." He paused. "She was the girl you met yesterday." Andrew led Atticus to an empty room. "You can stay here, I suppose. You should talk it over with Buffy, but she'll probably let you." He smiled. "She's cool like that." Andrew left him to turn in in his own room. It wasn't even 7:00 yet, but he felt drained. Something about seeing Xander again, even briefly. He wasn't ready to handle it. He laid down on top of the covers, and immediately fell asleep.

"Niiice." Atticus mentioned, still scaling the mansion a bit. He remembered which one Buffy was. That blonde chick. "I'll talk to her soon, I'm sure."
When Andrew presented him his room, Atticus' smiled in a very manly fashion and thanked him as he walked inside and shut the door. He immediately locked it.
He was in no mood to socialize at the moment. He would lay down...and go to sleep. It was only around seven o'clock, but he wanted to sleep before he swung around his house to pick up his stuff and check around a little bit to see if They had bugged it or something. It would be just like them to be all high-tech.
Atticus walked over and collapsed back-first onto his bed. He stared up at the ceiling, thinking things over. How did They find him?

After polishing the food off the plate she'd stolen from the kitchen, and then grabbing some mashed potatoes, Buffy headed down to the common room and went directly to the wetbar.
She grabbed a 20 year old bottle of single-malt scotch and poured a shot.
This is Giles stuff, Buff, don't drink it all, she thought to herself. Before tossing it back, she turned to the wall behind her to grab the cordless.
If Dawn knew... she'd kill me....
She dialed the first few numbers, stopped a moment, took the shot, then dialed the rest.
Listening to the ringing, she waited patiently until the answering machine picked up.
"You've reached Michaelangelo's portrait studios. To leave a message for Beth, press one now. To be directed to customer service, press 2 now. Para hablar en espanol, oprima numero 3. (then a full minute pause followed by a series of clicks)
Hello. You've reached the offices of Bilman and Warrington. Please leave a concise and detailed message with your name and phone number, and someone will get back to you immediately. Thank you and have a lovely day."
She waited for the beep.
"Good day to you. This is Miss Summers calling to leave a message for Mr. Finn. I'd like to have a painting frame replaced immediately. He knows where to reach me. Thank you, and have a wonderful week."
