The doc seemed to have a communication device inside his labcoat that allowed him to transmit orders to M4X, which wasn't really surprizing. He looked at the doctor, who seemed to be in a good mood. To tell the truth, Silver's mood has turned towards the better. He followed the doctor as he listened.

It seemed they were in a library, well... at least it had all the qualities of a normal library. There were stacks of boring books most people wouldn't normally read in a million years, and they were completely orgainzed. The silver orbs were like the little knick nacks they seemd to have all over to show how exquisit their library was. But this was far from a normal library.

They made there way to what seemed to be a grey box. It was no doubt some high tech gizmo Silver couldn't possibly comprehend in this lifetime. He looked at it, perplexed, as the doc began to type on a keyboard.

You said you vanted a veapon, as you vell knowzthere are more fighting ztyles zhan I am villing to zpend the time listing, zo zhis little device exists. You can probably understand how it verks. Ztick your hand in zhe hole.

Silver nodded and stuck his hand in the slot.

((heh... a bit of my own narrative there. sweatdrop ))

((The whirring and grinding of machines is heard as the tube suddenly grows tighter and clamps around Silvers elbow and wrist area. And then came a sudden and horrible lop, as a blade sliced Silvers arm clean off!

Lesson! Dont stick your arm in strange holes! eek

Kidding, kidding kidding. xp ))

::The machine did squeeze, infact the tube grew uncomfortably tight and felt as if it would most definately resist any attempt Silver would make at pulling himself free. The Doctor simply continued typing away. Then came a wet feeling as if the tube which held Silvers arm was not getting some sort of strange cold liquid poored into it. Silvers hand was free and he would probably be able to feel how gelatinous the substance was. And strangely it was getting thicker by the second, until finally like cold plaster it locked around his hand.::

Hmm...

::The sound slipped from the Doctors pale lips as a few keystrokes were heard.::

Vhat do you normally fight vith Mr.Moonblade?

((heh... that brings back so many memories of past campaigns...))

As tempted as he was, he made no effort to pull away from the strange machine; there was always the chance he'd ruin his own arm pulling away from a machine that was going to help him out. Well, at least what he thought was going to help him out.

Then the frigid geletionous substance came. He hand had moved slightly out of surprize. Silver didn't bother guessing whatever the hell it was, and he didn't even want to know. He focused on the sounds of the docor's keystrokes before he spoke.

"Weapon type? Spear. You've seen the actual weapon I use the most. Its the jetblack spear I had when you found me."

Silver seriously hope this ended soon. He didn't like the feeling of the cold geletin encasing his arm.

$Waling away from his little shack sipping on sprite out of a glass bottle. It was time for a little trip to work out his knuckles a work out. He was walking towards the docks which he had appeared on.$

Nearly a week and a half had passed since Ryugi and Vargus had arrived on the continent of Guldor, and begun their long trek following Ryugi's pull. As they had moved along, the pull had slowly gotten stronger, the strange essense directing them towards the unknown. Two days ago they had met Ryudo, and had him join the small group, raising the number to three. The trio had treked onward for another couple days until sunset when they spied none other than the massive towers of the Black Building Ryugi had seen from the air. The next morning, the group headed for the tower, unsure of what lay ahead.

I don't like what I'm seeing over there...

Ryudo stopped walking, his eyes trained on the black building about three miles away in the distance. His eyes were squinted, as if he was trying to make something out. Ryugi and Vargus stopped walking and turned to him.

What the hell are you talking about? I don't see anything besides snow and a bunch of black clouds, and those have been there for quite a while.

Ryugi looked slightly annoyed, but he waited for Ryudo to explain. His brother glanced at him for a moment before looking back at the tower.

You of all people should know I don't see exactly the same way you do. The air around that place looks different, blurry almost. Its like a ripple on the plains durring a heatwave, except it has a loose shape to it, almost like a dome.

Ryugi looked confused and scratched his head, looking hard himself now. Vargus blinked for a second, then spoke up.

I don't see anything myself, but you'd be the expert on these sorts of things. Have you ever seen something like it before?

Ryudo's face took on a slight air of concentration for a moment before nodding slightly and responding.

Come to think of it, yes, I have. I've only seen it a few times, and one of them was when I fought you, Ryugi.

Ryugi turned to look at Ryudo with a look that seemed to say, "The hell you talkin' 'bout?" And Vargus seemed a bit shocked and interested too.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I would know if I had a big blurry dome around me at some point. I think all this white is messing with your mind.

Ryudo looked at Ryugi out of the corner of his eye with an annoyed look present.

It was several months ago in that stadium you often frequented. I shot a blast of energy towards you at point blank range. It made contact, however you exited practically unharmed, and as you emerged, your image was blurred in the same fashion as the air around that building. It may be just a speculation on my part, but I believe these two types of fields, if you will, were one and the same.

Ryugi sighed and looked towards the building, deep in thought. He remembered the event mentioned by Ryudo. It was shortly after Ryugi had returned with Vargus from Angara. He also remembered that it was then that he had seen his friend Silver Moonblade again, who was suffering from a strange viral infection. But back then he hadn't had his powers returned...

Which would mean he still had the anti-magic field. Ryugi never did see it, but he knew it was there after a time. His only guess was that Ryudo's highly tuned mind could pick up on the disturbances of the field. He knew that while other dragons could feel energy in the surrounding areas, Ryudo could almost SEE it. However, the energy was mainly auras and magical presences, it would make sense that it would be difficult to see an anti-magic barrier since it was not something a dragon was accostomed to seeing. He turned to Ryudo and spoke again.

I see what you mean, and if what you say is true... Then that is quite possibly an anti-magic barrier. In other words, magic will be completely nulled, or in extreme cases, highly limited to the point of uselessness. That means that only you and I could conceivably do anything inside that barrier. Your psychic abilities are entirely physical, as is my transformation into my hybrid state. Either way, we should hope that whoever or whatever lives there is friendly. Vargus, I want you to be careful. I want everyone to be careful. My tug is coming directly from that building, and we've come too far to mess up now.

If you say so... Perhaps your journey was worthless to begin with. Perhaps this entire notion or investigation is.

Ryugi grinned teasingly and turned to Ryudo.

You're being gothic and fatalistic again.

I am NOT GOTHIC!! How many times do I have to tell you that? I don't even know why I bother to stay with you. Seriously, this is getting rediculous... Black happens to be my color, either that or dark grey. Can you really see me wearing white or some other color?

Vargus chuckled as the group began to move foreward again towards the black Towers. Things were beginning to be more like the old days. The brotherly arguments, the conversation, it was somewhat nice to get a glimpse of peace between the two after so many years.

After an hour or so of treking through the snow, and entering the barrier, the trio finally reached the doors of the menacing black building. Ryugi took a deep breath, his tug still strong, and knocked three times on the door. Spirits were mixed within the warrior. But he had to find out what this tug was he was feeling before he did anything else.

Nyo.

::The Doctor said as he stroked his chin and his eyes gazed across the many screens of this odd device.::

Marcell took you, zhere vas no reazon to grab every little zhing you were carrying. He vas concerned about the possibility of death, not zhe possibility of rust...

::He tapped three keys on the keyboard and sat back as images can across the screen.::

You zay a zpear, but your hands zay a svord.

::On the blue screens were several different diagrams, one showed an x-ray view of Silvers hand, another showed the hands muscular development and placement beneath the skin, yet another showed the flow off his blood vessels, and yet still another showed the rigidity of his skin when compared to normal human palm. For a Doctor these things can easily show what sort of use his hand has been put through.::

Zhere is evidence of strain on your vrist as vell as your forearm, zhe sort of strain that matches with holding alot of veight at the end of a pole, but zhere is also excessive callus on the palm of your hand...zhat hints toward a svord. So, vhich is it?

::The scan was not saying Silver was a liar rather it said that he had been using another type of weapon until recently, and was offering a choice. The proper weapon goes a long way toward success in battle. And the Doctor really wasnt one to do re-forges.::

Dark Conspiracy
Her hands slowly glided to the back of the chair and gripping the top lightly as his back pressed against her fingers for reassurance. And quickly without warning the chair began to move towards the door, and Madison simply pushed as though she was pushing a grocery cart full of food, but this time there was Karden inside of a chair. They slowly passed the room and entered the clean hall, she was still in belief about the room. It seemed ever so clean, as they countinued to walk...well as she walked and he was sitting she was exicted to learn a bit about this boy.

"So Karden...Tell me about yourself..." Asked Madison with a curious voice, all she knew is that his name was Karden and he was out alone in the cold Tundra with no one beside him. Kindof like how she was a few weeks ago...They reached the end of the hallway shortly and Madison leaned over and pressed the button. She attempted not to put any pressure onto him but reach the button. Slowly though, like the Klutz she was, she began to lose her balance.

"Uh-OOOOOOOOOOOOH!"

That was all that was said and Madison fell to the ground, leaving the chair and the blue haired boy standing as her body rested on the floor. She laid on the floor for a few moments practically as though she was dead and gazed up at the cieling. Not saying a word at all.

She decided that yes, the cieling was infact very pretty, almost too pretty. But slowly she shook her head and looked sat up. Her ruby red eyes gazed up at Karden as she smiled, he stayed perfectly still in his chair and she was still on the ground. After a few moments she wiggled her toes back and forth like a little child waiting patiently. The floor was very comfortable, perhaps she would have picnic there one day, but till then...that wouldn't be happening.

A giggle left her lips as she got to her feet and looked down at him with her large with teeth...grinning.

"Sorry about that, I'm not very good on my feet."

((Yeah, this is an old post...I wrote more too it...))

Silver was slightly distressed at that, but didn't say anything. The fact that he lost something he prized so much... and something that was givin to him by a person he held in high esteem. His first perogative after he left would be to find the spear.

It was true. Silver had been trained with a spear initially, but he switched to using an oriental blade after he was taken by the mystics. He used it for decades, and only recently switched back to using a spear. So, he was indeed tailored to use a sword. But he had almost an entire lifetime to remaster the spear.

He grasped his pendant with his free hand. He stared at it for a moment in thought. Even though he was better suited to use the sword, he had found joy using the spear again. In fact, he hasn't used the Moonblade since he got Enki's spear minus one occasion.

Which reminded him how he mustn't linger in the Black Hospital. The field probably wasn't the best for the artifact.

"My weapon of choice remains the spear."

His success in the upcomming battles depended on his decision, so he had to make the right one. If he didn't go back to spear now, he would probably use the sword for the rest of his life.
