Witium agreed with yousei whle heartedly with a ,"YEAH!" He poked the lizard mount to go faster, wondering if it might work. The elf concenrated and sent some thoughts out to karasu, ~Well, if the people in Eden are hostile, we'll just have to teach them not to be the hard way. Plus, i'm sure Eden's the only desent city in this continent.~

"Yah!" Miles called out, snapping the reigns and digging his heels into the Nienna's sides, urging it to go as fast as possible. The lizard took off in a blur of color, easily keeping up and passing Yousei and Karasu. He slowed the creature down as the paths approached and turned to Yousei. "Ready?"

Karasu did not answer Witium, though she strongly disagreed. ~It shall not be that simple...~ she thought to herself.
Yousei slowed her Nienna, as she and Karasu reached the winding trails. She looked sternly to Miles and nodded, before returning her attention to the paths before them.
The mountains cast shadows over the paths, making them quite difficult to see, even in mere moonlight. A slight shiver ran through Yousei, as she looked up at the mountains' jagged tips. Nevertheless, she urged her Nienna onward through the pathway. Karasu walked beside her.

Miles pressed onwards, snaking his way ahead of Yousei and her Nienna. He began up the trail, every few minutes, looking back to check on Yousei.

Witium reached out quickly to hold onto Miles firmly before flying off the big lizard, "Holy smokes!" He was suprised at the creatures speed, it didn't seem as if it could go that fast. The elf blinked as they slowed down and wiped the sand from his face, "plah.."

Miles looked back to Witium, laughing. "Careful, the Nienna's fast," He called back shifting his gaze ahead of him again to keep on track. "How you doing back there?" He called to Yousei, glancing quickly back.

Yousei stared blankly ahead, as she lost herself in her worries. Part of her was beginning to question everything that she had come to believe she could trust in this world... Why would Miles bring me to his homeland if it was going to be life-threatening..? She did not want to believe that he would betray her, but she could not purge her mind of these suspicions. She was brought back to her surroundings by Miles's voice.
"..What? Oh.. I'm fine," she lied. Karasu could sense that something was troubling her, but she did not pry.

Witium shot his thoughts into Yousei's mind, "~I'm not sure how safe Miles city is, but none the less at least we'll probely be able to get good food there. ...and i wonder if we'll find some shadowed to kill there too.~" He wondered and grinned as he held onto Miles. The elf tapped Miles shoulder with his nose, "what kind of city is eden anyways, is it corrupt at all?"

Yousei jumped a bit as she heard Witium's thoughts, though she found comfort in his words. Suddenly, behind them, several rocks shook and seperated themselves from the mountains. The chunks of rock soon connected behind the group to form a large golem. Karasu caught the movement in the corner of her eye, and turned back in horror to see it charging toward them.

Witium heard the rumbling and turned around, "Whats goin on back ther....ahh crap." The elf poked Miles and pointed in back of them, "What is that!?" With one hand he drew a sword and looked to the rock golem, "I don't think i can hurt this thing..."

As he followed them, Hile was close enough to watch in awe as the elemental formed, though he didn't stare for long. He had seen these things in combat before, and the travelers he was following were going to need all the help they could get. He lurched forward, his natural Haruchai speed complimented with his building adrenaline as he closed the gap between himself and the creature before him.

Miles shook his head, "No, Eden's always been a safe haven for anyone in the desert." He jumpped at the sound of the falling rocks and turned on the Nienna, pulling it to a stop. He stood and jumpped from the creatures back, drawing his weapon.

Witium slide off the lizard and drew his second sword. He leaned over to miles, "uhh, how do ya wanna take this thing down?" The elf scratches his head real quick before bracing himself for the golems charge, "This is really gonna hurt x.x"

"Your swords will just break" Miles muttered to Witium, and looked to the golem. He reached to the boomerang and locked its blades inside it, running his fingers along the edge.

Witium shealthed his blades and looked to the lizards, "I wonder if this thing can manuver well when it's in a hole." He stared at the lizards claws and then looked back to Miles.
