Rain watched all of its movements, eventually stopping her head turning when it landed on her. She brought it a bit closer to her, but not to close. She didn't want to frighten it off.
She studied it for a while, then turned her head sltightly to look at Kayako. "Hey, Kayako," she addressed her. "Look." She moved her arm a little to show the skyfish to her companion on the ground.

Kayako looked over her shoulder, meanwhile trying to get the blades of grass from her fall out of her hair.
"Well, it likes YOU at least...." she grumbles sarcastically.
The skyfish continued to study Rain, emitting a sound similar to a high-pitched whale song. Leaving it's perch, it flew around behind her, nudging at her guitar.

((What?! My guitar's in the tree? razz ))
Rain saw it poking her guitar, then had a feeling what it wanted. She hoped out of the tree and walked over to her instrument. Sitting down against the rock, she arranged her guitar in the usual playing position and struck up a song.

The skyfish perked up, suddenly very happy. It twirled around Rain as she played, twisting energetically through the branches. Out of nowhere, more skyfish flew out of the cave they'd been hiding in, causing a very surprised Kayako to duck for cover.
There were about seven of them, all gathered around the guitar-player, dancing through the air to her music.
"Blasted little-scared the heck outta me! Why I outta.....Wait...."
Kayako's attention was drawn to the back of the cave. In the daylight, the metallic outlines of Senturi and Eden were plainly visible. However, in the space next to them that had been occupied by Mercury, there was nothing but dust.
'When did he-' Kayako looked around. There was no sign of the silver mech anywhere; only a set of footprints leading to the exit that she'd failed to notice before. She shot up.
"Damn him!! I told that idiot to behave himself!!"
Stopping to punch the cavern wall once, she ran over to Senturi, unlocking the cockpit hatch.

Rain looked around her and at the energetic skyfish. Getting a little energetic herself, she stood up and began to walk around a little, a slight spring in her step. She played a more lively song this time, watching the skyfish fly about as she moved her fingers all over the strings.

Kayako ran back to the entreance of the cave, yelling over at Rain on her rock. The skyfish were still dancing with her like she was the pied piper, ignoring the purple speck a few yards away from them.
"Hey! Did you see what happened to Gray?? That idiot went and ran off!!!"

Rain stopped walking and stared at her. She shook her head lighting. "No," she said. "I haven't seen him." She looked down at the ground, trying to think. Wonder why he would leave... she pondered, still continuing the stream of music.

......BOOM!
"-wha?! Nggg!!"
Something exploded, Causing mercury to skid dangerously on the trapar before regianing it's balance.
Gray scanned the clouds around him, unable to locate the source of the missle....
Blast...where did... that...
Mercury hovered about on it's board, seeking the projectiles source....
>BEEP!<
Gray's attention shot to the controlls, noticing a bright red "incoming!", and a flashing icon dhowing up rapidly behind Mercury.
"Slagit-!"
Mercury twisted, dodging a pair of missles narrowly.
Agian, whoever...or whatever, had shot at him was nowhere to be seen....
The radar beeped agian, and Gray sent Mercury into a short dive as the missles came back, apparently heat seekers.
Not good...still.....
If he could make something hotter than his LFO's engine, then...
The missles turned about, coming back for round three.
Gray responed by opening Mercury's afterburners to full, leaving a brief trail of white flame as it rapidly zigzagged upwards.
After a few secods, the cockpit rocked with a distant explosion; The missles had sucessfully targeted the supper-heated exhuast...
But that left the one who was doing the shooting...?

'Gray you.....you little JERK!! Just see what happens when I find you!'
Kayako turned around and ran off to the back of the cave, jumping inside Senturi through the already-open hatch. Throwing her arms to both sides, the metal locks closed over them, getting her ready to go. The lights clicked on, and the engines revved up and sped the black and violet vehicle to the outside, where it spun around once and stopped.
For a breif moment, Kayako popped out to address Rain.
"I'm gonna go find that moron, stay here!! And if you see any weird aircrafts, you need to hide fast, got that? I don't need you screwing around that that dummy Gray!"
And with that, she ducked back inside. Senturi started up again, and transformed into it's true form. The mech threw it's board out in front, then jumped on and shot upwards, disappearing into the clouds.

Rain watched her and nodded to her command. She went back to lean against the rock face that formed around the cave. She started to play a relaxing song, humming in some parts of it. She kept her eyes glued on the sky, ready to run into the cave at any sign of strange craft.
Most of the skyfish had left, but a few still lingered around her. The first one she met had come to rest on the top of her head, flapping its wings slowly ever now and then.

((sadly, I need to puase; I need Tolly-sama's permission/asistance with the next scene; or at least his decision on what to do. thus, I say that I'm in post lock untill tommorow...upon which Tolly-sama with have hopefully replied. I'll also check with Svener-Sama, in case Tolly-sama doesn't show.

Rue grabbed his ref board as he ran out of the Rehk and hopped on it. His anger making him go faster than he should. Almost hitting one of the Vodarak. He cut up into the skies.
"Fool.....I'm the fool....."
He kept going forward. Behind him was just a place that would keep him caged.

The whole time Nic was running she never stopped and never looked back. Out of breath and hurting all over Nic slowed it to a jog,
"I just have to get there...I have to know..." holding the dagger in her hand and making a good sized cut on the other hand.
"I swear that I will never give in to the pain..."

The camp was abandoned. Rue walked up to see two missing pilots, Kayako and Gray, and the final one with a tune around her that the skyfish danced to. Nic....where was she!? Rue dropped his board.
"Where is everyone? What happened to the other two and.....Nic?"
He said at Rain trying to get some answers. He wasn't angry just...shocked.
'I was hoping not to make Gail right this early.....'

Rain looked up at Rue. "Gray left and Kayako went to get him," she told him. "As for the other... I don't know what happened to her." She turned her head around and looked at the skyfish some more.
