Rolling his eyes, Richard shook his head at Jamal, "Right. Sure buddy." Then he turned around and headed for the drink bar.
After a few moments Richard returned to find Nita talking with a man in a monkey suit. Richard's back was begining get tired of restaining his tentacles. Maybe he could stretch them out some how?
He smiled at Oz, "Richard." He extended his hand. "And these would be Brutus and Cassious." The senators wiggled while the Solders peered over his shoulders.

"Might as well 'ave, eh? Zapped if I try t' remove it, aren't I?" Lifting his bottle, he took a long drink...then demonstrated, making to pull down one sleeve of the dress and visibly seizing as the shock ran down his spine. Once it passed, he chuckled bitterly, sipping absently from the bottle and blinking bleary eyes from Jamal to Richard to Gallen and back, completely oblivious to whatever was going on. The shock had disoriented him a bit.

Jamal shot Richard a look of irritation. Oh god, how he'd love to get a claw into that b*****d all of a sudden...he had to struggle with his instinct to keep his temper in check. At least, his physical temper. "You don't know who yer dealin' with, old timer," Jamal drawled dangerously. "Jus' ask 'round. I'm sure you'll come to yer senses when people tell ya 'bout a crazy ********' tiger man."
His attention slipped back to Thom, who was explaining the dress issue. At first, he was dubious about there being a reason to shock someone over a dress, but when the cobra man shook and twitched like one usually did when shocked, he growled. "What's da ********' point o' that?" he demanded angrily. "Jus' ta keep ya in a dress? s**t...is someone watchin' ya then all the time ta do it? Shock from da neck o' is it in the dress somewhere?"

Gallen sighed, "I am sorry, I was telling Richard to not worry and we could clean it up, as in him and I. actually I too do not see a need to worry, stuff happens, life goes on." but as he looked up Richard was gone and he was left there with an angry growling guy in a bloody sheet and a snakeman.. women.. guy in drag who was starting to convulse a little from what seemed to be a shock. Great this evening could not get any weirder. He looked around to try and find Kim and Liamh. At least they seemed a little more with it.

Ahaha, the old guy and his miniature followers had gone away. Good bye, little Romans. Watch out for crazy ********' tiger men! He wasn't sure if he had said it aloud. Probably not, given that he was still sipping from the bottle. But he had certainly bid them a fond mental fairwell. And then the ghost thing was speaking again, and Thom decided he should probably reply aloud this time. "Looks that way, eh? Th'labs're bound to 'ave cameras in 'ere, someone's prob'ly watchin'. S'from th' neck, aye, damned chip."

Oz smiled at Nita. Hers was probably the first costume he'd seen that looked really cute as a double-costume. He gave an over-dramatic bow.
"Nice to meet you Nita. And it was a favourite of my sister's, she'd watch it 5 times a day at one point. And make me watch it with her," he laughed. She seemed like another nice person. He was doing pretty well so far!
Oz then cast his eyes over to Richard in order to return the pleasantries.
"A pleasure Sir," he addressed his elder in a polished manner, as though his age would grant him instant respect. Very strict upbringing on Oz's part.
The argument that was brewing between Richard and the guy in the ghost sheet made Oz feel uneasy. He just had such a confrontational attitude, and he just hoped more blood would not be shed. He realised his cowardice was a side-effect of his alcohol detox and was beginning to feel oh so tempted.

Confrontation was something that Jamal was born for, apparently. His blood was boiling at the mere exchange of words between Richard and himself and the constant constriction of his costume was driving his instincts crazy. He pawed anxiously at the sheet from the inside, his claws snagging now and then and tearing little furrows into the cotton.
"Jus' move," Jamal snapped unkindly to the fish/cat thing. "Don't give me none of that optimistic bullshit. You ain't been herr long 'nough ta see what it really gets like in this ********' hellhole." He snorted in challenge and tore another series of grooves into the front of his costume, which was slowly being reduced to shreds.
When the snake guy started blathering again, Jamal grumbled, licking his fangs ********. Always gotta watch, ain't they?" he sympathized, leaning forward ominously. His voice lowered significantly in volume. "Them ********' buzzer chips are a b***h...but I got mine taken out. Cost me a coupla days of layin' in da middle of nowhere..."
When Gallen interrupted -again-, Jamal whirled, bristling beneath his costume tatters. "Ya ********' idiot. Don't even tell me ya dont know 'bout them goddamn chips."

"Ah, I haven't seen the movie in years, but the costume seemed appropriate. I mean, I do spend a lot of time out in the jungle." Nita twisted to indicate her tail and otherwise furry body, as if that would fully explain that last comment. And for someone who knew she was turning into an animal, as she presumed Oz realized, it probably would.
Nita herself was not the confrontational type; having to rescue Miller (as it were) was more than enough excitement for her. She worked to ignore the growing tenseness nearby. Why wouldn't that blond guy just leave the bloodied sheet alone?

Richard ignored Jamal's comment, drunken fools were better off ignored. He did however remember that Sid had mentioned something about a "Ghetto Tiger," could the ghost be the same? It really didn't matter, from the sounds of it all the man wanted was a fight. A fight among islanders was worse than useless. Keep the peace, save the volience for the labs... someday.
He nodded at Oz, keeping one eye on the "ghost".
Then Jamal made a sudden movement. Richard turned sideways. His grip tightening on his cane. He made himself ready to strike if Jamal jumped Gallen.
"And what brought you here Oz?" Asked Richard absently, most of his attention on Jamal.

Gallen backed away quick. "sorry no I do not, and I am sorry for eth positive attitude, believe me I am surprised I have it after what I have seen and heard." he timidly smiled he was once again having trouble breathing.

Oz was eager to ask Nita more questions about the jungle, but her magically moving tail grabbed his attention first.
"Oh wow! How d'you get it to move like that?" he asked in excitement, grasping her tail as it wavered about. Could it be fancy animatronics? Puppetry? Hell, he didn't care, that was cool!
For the time being, his mind was blank to the growing tension, although little bits of the ghost's comments drifted into his skull. Chips? What kind of chips? For a moment, Oz thought this ghost might have been high on something and had began blabbering about some bad food.
"Huh...?" he looked at Richard in a confused manner. He must mean which addiction he was trying to beat. "Oh, I'm a recovering alcoholic. What are you here for?"
This was the first Islander he'd asked this question, rather wishing to just find out at his first group sessions or something.

Now that caught Thom's attention. The chips could be taken out? And this guy didn't have one? Thom was half tempted to spend the rest of the evening convincing the ghost to take his chip out while he was still drunk and it wouldn't hurt so badly. Buuut.. The Romans had returned as had some creepy spikey haired guy, and the ghost seemed busy arguing with them, so he wouldn't interrupt.
...What had he been doing again?

Jamal could give two shits or not if Richard thought he could club the tiger man down with his cane. His attention was on Gallen and Jamal now leaned in HIS direction, fangs visible through the mouth hole of his costume.
"Ya betta get rid of it 'n' realize jus' how ******** ya are ta be herr. Ya already changed once, I kin see....it only gets worse. Ya best start doin' some thinkin' 'bout what side yer gonna be on when hell breaks loose...not 'bout how ya should be lookin' on da bright side. There ain't no goddamn bright side here. Yer ******** fo'eva'."

Richard was too distracted to read into Oz's statement and realize that he might not know what was happening on the island. "Ah, Alot of people come here for medical treatment. They just don't get exactly what they expect." Richard chuckled, relaxing a tad now that Gallen at least had the intelligence to back away from Mr. "I'm a Big Bloody Ghost, Rawr!"
"I came here to interview Dr. Moreau. The interview went so well He decided to keep me here permantly. He even threw in four extra limbs as a bonus!" Richard's tone was more than a tad sarcastic.
