What?! they found me? *Shunketsu managed to say as he leapt just out of their grasp...*
these shadows are way too strong...I've seen some Nara clan members practice their shadow binds, but this...this is ridiculous...I can't seem to find where these shadows are coming from...which means I can't beat them since hitting a shadow along the floor with my fire jutsus would produce absolutely no effect...hm..wait...these shadows can only move along surfaces...so...any type of non-transparent wall can hold them back, even if only just a while...
*notices that since this is a ruined village, there's a ample amount of dust available*
so...a thick cloud of dust particles would form a surface to either hold back or distort the shadows...well...here goes nothing...*throws kitty into the air*

*Shunketsu did a spinning kick along the ground and kicked up a THICK cloud of dust, he then continued with the second kick, which was an exact same spinning kick, just going the opposite direction, and he followed up with his final kick, in which he does a short front flip and lands his heel to the ground, cracking the surface just a bit and sending up even more dust...The air was so full of dust from the ground that even light was barely able to get through it, let alone shadows...the kitty then fell back down, and Shunketsu caught it and put it back on his head...*
sorry kitty, but you'd be even dizzier than you are now if you stayed on me while i did all that spinning...now...before the dust clears, I have some time to do a jutsu...

*Shunketsu acted like a fountain and blew a huge flame into the sky, the fountain-like flame, upon reaching it's height limit, scattered and a rain of fire came back down to the ground, scorching and setting aflame the entire area Shunketsu was in...well...everywhere but himself...the fires then died down just a little bit, but the heat in the area became so hot that one would think he/she is in the realm of Satan...Shunketsu then channeled some chakra into the kitty, forming a little barrier, so it could withstand the heat...*
there...if this doesn't draw the user out, i don't know what will...
*Shunketsu took out a Fuuma Shuriken, readied himself, and looked around...hoping that the dust will hold back the shadows long enough for the user of the shadows to reveal himself/herself in order to escape the heat...*

Tomasu saw that shiko had managed to stop the shadow so he ran forward to try and get to the source. He threw one shuriken as hard as he could in the direction it came from, and continued to run whilst performing a number of seals, and readying himself for a fight.

::the shadows flipped up like a carpet being dusted and sent shiko into the air, head over heels. As the shuriken hit the shadows, they screamed. The scream seemed to be that of collective voices::
::the kitty screamed too as it was thrown into the air for safety, and then once again clung to shunketsu's head, one paw over his right eye. Again, as the fire rained down, the shadows screamed::

::Shiko flew into the air feeling rather sick being up so high when she did a jutsu, her sand chain appearing in her hand. With that Shiko tied the chain on her wrist and threw it at the nearest branch, catching it, she pulled herself to the branch and landed easily.Shiko then disactivated the chain and turned around glaring at where Tomasu had hit them::

::the shadows seemed to quiver for awhile, as if they had forgotten what it was that they were after and could only recognize the temporary pain that lanced through their length::

::Shiko did not move from the branch in which she stand, instead, she rested slightly, breathing hard, her blue hair moving in her face::
"This is harder than I had expected, two missions in one..I must keep my guard up, I will not allow the shadows to touch them but i will not allow myself to be touched either"she said quietly.

::after a few more moments the shadows regained themselves and once again began to moved towards motoko, but this time, a little more carefully::

::Shiko noticed the shadows started to move towards Motoko. "They must be after the girl not Motoko herself" Shiko thought to herself. With that thought, she ran towards Motoko's direction but hiding herself as she goes, she will make sure that the shadows do not get there first::

::Motoko noticed the shadows comming and started to run. She was going to keep the girl safe no matter what. Hopefully the others would be able to take care of things, otherwise she would have to find something to do with the girl and use the justsu that she didn't want to use. That would be a very last resort, because she might die.::
"Tomasu!!! Keep helping Shiko! Shiko! Please keep fighting right now. I can handle this at the moment, but those shadows are posing a problem. I will do what I can, just please hang in there you guys!"

::Shiko stopped and stared at Motoko with disbelief, but with a shrug she got out of the way and ran towards the direction of where the shadows where coming from::

kitty! I only have one good eye...and you're covering it...*Shunketsu moved the paw and heard the shadows scream as the fire burned away...*
eek ?? huh?? the shadows feel pain? this is overly odd...but i have no other lead to go on...so...
*Shunketsu jumped high into the air* hang on kitty...
Katon: Housenka No Jutsu (Fire Element: Phoenix Fire)
*Shunketsu shot large blazing fireballs from his mouth at the shadows, one fireball per shadow...the fireballs rained down and crashed into the already-scorched earth...*
stare man...I wonder how much more destruction this village is going to have to take...first is the initial destruction...and now my burning everything in sight...*sigh*
*Shunketsu landed on the ground, barely avoiding a pillar of fire still active from his Blazing Earth technique, and waited for the scream of the shadows to confirm his fireballs successfully hit their target...*

Tomasu readied his wrist blade and performed several hand seals "Mizu-bunshin no jutsu!!" he shouted as 3 water clones appeared next to him, all ready with wrist blades and akunai each.

::Shiko continued to turn towards where the shadows had first appeared. She looked at Shunketsu and noticed he had a cat on his head.."Typical Shunketsu to be that connected" She thought to herself laughing.Shiko then pulled out her shurikens and threw them in the direction she was going::
