Severus sighed. He moved closer to Aiden. "Want to tell me about it? Then I'll go beat him up for you," Severus said softly. He gently rubbed the boy's back. "C'mere sweetie.."

Aiden sat up and moved to him, clinging and sobbing again. He didn't say anything at first, but after a few long moments, he said, "I brought some friends over while he and Elli were out...that's all." It wasn't all, but he didn't want Severus mad too."

Severus wrapped his arms around Aiden, pulling him onto his lap and holding him close. He kissed his head softly, stroking his hair. "Shhh.. Calm down, Aidy..." He waited for the boy to speak, looking down at him.
"Some friends? How many, sweetie? And.. what were you all doing?"

"Just three..." Aiden said quietly, "None it wasn't my fault! One of them broke into Dad's liquor while I was in the bathroom, and they wouldn't listen when I told them to stop drinking it..." he shivered a bit, "And he caught me with one of them. I think he broke the guy's arm..."

Severus winced, his ears lowering. Ooh.. That wasn't good... He looked at Aiden worriedly when he shivered. "Did they do anything to you, Aiden?" he asked protectively.

Aiden gave him a look, "I was sucking the guy off, and the other two were singing and wearing lampshades downstairs, nothing happened to me. Not until Dad came home anyway," he whimpered a bit, "I thought he was going to beat me."

"You..." Severus paused, then sighed, holding Aiden close to him. "Well... That could've made him mad... I can understand that... As for the lampades.. I'm not even going to comment.."
He looked down at Aiden and tightened his hold on him, kissing his head. "Sirius can be scary at times... I know he can be... There were so many times that I thought he was going to beat me, too." He rubbed Aiden's lower back, resting his head against the boy's.

Aiden sobbed, "And he saw me like that...it's so humilating. He'll probably think I'm sick or something..." he hid his face, "I don't want Daddy to hate me..."

Severus gently pet Aiden's hair. "Oh, sweetie.. He doesn't hate you... He's just angry right now. You're his baby, his little Aiden.. He's just trying to protect you. While... I don't agree with his fits of anger and the like... He's trying to protect you."

Aiden swallowed, "I am?" Sirius did call him that sometimes...but he always thought of Elliot as the baby. Or Hecate. They were cute. "Why does he get so mad all the time?" It seemed like a dumb question, but he really didn't get it. "Why's he so protective."

Severus rubbed small circles on the boy's back. He laughed gently. "Of course you are! You may not be the youngest, but you're still his son!" He lifted Aiden's chin and wiped at his eyes gently. "As for why he gets mad.. Sirius has a very short fuse.. VERY short. And he's protective because he loves you."

Aiden smiled weakly. He had a short fuse too...he knew that. "He loves me? Even after what I did?" he didn't want to stop being Sirius' baby...even now that he was older.

"I'm sure he is still mad. He might still be mad at you, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love you any less," Severus said. "And, he was yelling when he left because Elli was getting on his case."
