Yuudai Sasaki Then you should not get involved with the Inuyasha-fandom. eek I can't even start to count how many Sesshoumaru/Inuyasha fanart/fanfiction I've found. *Shudders* No need to spare me...already been tainted by it...I can see a brotherly hug, but they have to be wearing ALL their clothes, not just SOME of it.

I've seen a whole lot more than 'brotherly hugs' in that fandom. gonk
And Kurama/Youko? I've actually found many such pairings. It seems like Yaoi-fangirls don't care about logic and pair up every guy with every guy just because they're 'hawt'. rolleyes
The difference between them and the people I've seen here, is that we're Yaoi-fans, not fangirls. Thank God! lol

I think of myself as a fangirl, only because I like yaoi and I'm female, but because of the stereotypical label of fangirl, all fangirls get a bad name... crying

Okay, those odd ones can now be called rapid, crazy Yaoi-fangirls! biggrin
By 'fangirls' I usually mean those that are nutcases, rather than the calm and intelligent ones. So I would probably have labeled you, Broken Hearted Hiei, as a fan. wink
I like both Yaoi and Yuri, and it annoys me that there are few guys who like it. And the rare occasions a guy like it it's all 'Omg!1 YuRI SO hAWT!11'. rolleyes And then, when they hear the word Yaoi, they're 'OmG!1 f**!11'.
People can be so odd sometimes. confused

I. Love. You! It's hard to find fans of both!
I had a friend like that...liked yuri and absolutely hated yaoi...it's what put me in the hospital once (got me stressed out during my pregnancy and it was affecting the babies) and killed our friendship (mostly cuz he was an a**, but also because my roommate chewed him out on any site he was on).

Agh! I cannot stand people like that! People who speak of Yuri like it's a God, and then turn around and talk crap about Yaoi, or vice versa. rolleyes I think it's insulting towards both gay men and gay women. They like Yuri because it's 'hawt' rather than liking it for it's deep romance and plot, and hates Yaoi because it doesn't turn them on (or vice versa). confused He sounds like an awful person if it was affecting your future children! I hope they're alright anyways. sad I usually meet people who love Yaoi and hate Yuri; and they have the nerve to call Yuri a 'dyke-show'! Love is love, no matter the person's gender. And thank you for 'loving' me! lol

reminds me of an episode of Jay Leno..."If two men want to get married, people say 'No, you can't. It's not American.' but when two women want to get married, everyone's like 'Go for it! They're true Americans!'"
They are doing fine. The stress just made me have them at a later date.
You are welcome. heart

Anyways, back on topic; I also think Raizen/Yusuke is a little...creepy. sweatdrop

Well, considering Raizen is his ancestor, it is incest to an extent, so it bugs the hell out of me. stressed

My favorite girl/girl pairing is Shizuru x Botan, but I guess I like Keiko x Botan too, even though I don't like Keiko that much...

Shizuru/Botan sounds adorable! redface Especially when I think about the scene where Shizuru comforted Botan after the ferry girl had to take Genkai over to the other side. Personally I like Ayame/Botan. biggrin

I've actually come up with another pairing that doesn't make much sense to me/I don't really like. That pairing is... Touya/Jin. I cannot bring myself to like that particular pairing and I don't really know why... I think it's because I can't really see that much of a lead up to it. They're friends yes, but they don't really seem to talk too much on screen and things like that. I'm actually wondering who came up with the idea of putting them together, because very seriously it's not something I would have ever thought of watching the series.

I agree, Hoshi. I loathe non-canon couples where none of them has actually met each other/talked much to each other before. confused
It may seem a little hypocritical since I like Botan/Ayame, but those two probably had many discussions since they both have the same job as ferry girls. razz
And they look too darn cute together, but thanks to Broken Hearted Hiei I'm starting to fancy Shizuru/Botan! lol
I also don't like Youko/Koto; it just doesn't make sense to me seeing as they're never actually spoken to each other.
