He lifted his left sleeve, revealing his arm to look as though it belonged to a corpse; it had turned a dark gray and an unpleasant stench came off of it. "To put it lightly, a cancerous disease is consuming the chakra in my left arm and it has recently taken a drastic turn for the worse, and in my humble opinion it needs to be amputated before it spreads. I could do that myself, but I also need help with affixing a prosthesis," he held up the box.

For the first time Nina made a disgusted face. "Very well." she said through gritted teeth. "We'll get someone for you as soon as possible."
Orochimaru glanced at the monitors with slight interest. He really didn't have any current applications for such a thing at the current time, though with all things it would undoubtedly be useful later on. Perhaps he should have Kabuto take a break to research it.

It took a short time but Benjiro strolled into the tower. "Hey!" he said happily, holding his hand up in a pleasant gesture. "Lovely as ever I see Nina-Chan."
Nina made a scoffing sound and tried to ignore the irritating Jonin.
Not at all bothered by the receptionists apparent disgust of him Benjiro strolled over to the young boy sitting off to the side. "Hey." he said taking a hand out of his pocket and offering it in a strangely friendly gesture. "I'm Benjiro, ANBU leader and top medic nin in Otokure. Are you the future amputee?"

(Well that was supposed to be a 'deadpan' tone, but oh well rolleyes )
He let go of the box, allowing it to hover in midair while taking Benjiro's hand. "Indeed. I am Tasukaru Mitsude. Now that the pleasantries are done with, I need you to follow a very specific procedure, because if my prosthesis is not fixed perfectly, then there will be hell to pay because I'll have ten pounds of useless metal hanging from my shoulder." He opened the box, pulling the smaller piece out. I had this countoured so that it will be able to fit perfectly onto my shoulder. If you can remove my arm at the shoulder joint it should fit perfectly. I can do the rest from there. Also, while I would very much like to make sure the surgery is done properly, I do not relish the idea of being awake through having my arm amputated. So, I want full anaesthesia, if you would be so kind. Shall we?"
(Excuse him if he sounds a little snappy. After all, I'm sure you'd be less than cheerful if you had to get your arm chopped off. xd )

Benjiro smiled and nodded not taking any offense to the boys tone, he had after all dealt with much more difficult individuals than him. "Okay then." he said clapping his hands together. "Drugs are easy to come by around here, we're not to stingy about it. Now I'm sure that you have noticed we're not exactly that big of a medical place, most procedures are done in this tower since it's always the cleanest. If you go down that hall" He pointed "there's a room on your second left. Wait in there and I'll come back in a moment and we can fix you up."

He nodded. "Thank you." He walked into the medical room and set the box on a counter, sitting on a chair.

Benjiro crossed into another room and looked around the supply of material that would make an effective anesthetic. It didn't take long, there was a vial with a liquid in it and a note attached.:This will make a good anesthetic for the procedure. I want the arm once it's removed. No point trying to guess who this was from. Orochimaru-Sama was really a twisted individual. Sighing to himself Benjiro returned to the room he'd sent his patient to. "Okay I've got some good stuff for you. Ready to take that thing off?"

He lay down on the table. "Since unless Orochimaru has had a recent lapse of intelligent he would doubtless want to examine my arm, I only ask that research at least be put into it to find some sort of cure. I'm ready if you are, so feel free to begin."

Benjiro sighed. Knowing Orochimaru himself and being one of the few people in Otokure to have been in the underground lab he didn't think that it would be used along those lines but he'd be leave that out.
"Sure." he said smiling and handing the vial over to the young shinobi. "Drink up. You're going to wake up without an arm."

He stared coldly at the medic-nin, knowing full well what he was thinking, but chose to ignore it, and downed the liquid.

(( Out you go, like a light )) Benjiro waited until the boy feel asleep before activating his chakra scalpel. "Hard to believe a kid this young could get something so horrible." he said quietly before setting in.

About 15 minutes later Benjiro sat back and waited for the kid to wake up. There was surprisingly little blood, it was a testament to Benjiro's skill that he had kept everything so clean. He had removed the entire arm at the shoulder and started the process required for grafting an artificial limb. The kid was going to have to go through hell after that.

Karu awoke, feeling significantly lighter on his left side. He glanced down at the stump, nodding. "This is fantastic work. An almost perfectly clean cut."

"Glad you like it." Benjiro said standing up and brushing himself off. "Rehabilitations going to be a b***h though, I had to remove some of the connecting muscles in your right shoulder so even with a prosthetic limb you're going to feel very weak on that side for a long time." He handed over the false arm that Karu had said he was going to use. "I wouldn't worry about it too much though. This thing is really well built. I don't think I've ever seen one quite this good. Where'd you get it anyway?"

"I designed it myself. It took a great deal of calculation of the inner mechanisms required, and thakns to a special forging process my chakra will be able to move it. I'll say one thing however; the alloy cost a pretty penny. I had to find something exceptionally strong and yet as close to my arm's original weight as possible. As for who made it, I had each piece made to specifications, and then put it together myself. Considering how exact my instructions were, it's not surprising that the craftsmanship is of such a high caliber."
He gently lifted the arm to the shoulder plate, activating a telekinetic trigger within that locked the arm in place. He smiled as he felt the chakra flow through it, and managed to bend the elbow slightly. "I imagine it will take a while for my Chakra system to adjust."
He winced slightly; even through the lingering effects of anaesthesia were still around his shoulder area was hardly 'ready to go'.
"I thank you for your time and effort, Benjiro-san," he stood, slipping his shirt back on and pulling his gloves on, strapping Ryukiba to his waist. "You've indeed been a great help. Now, I have but one last question: I heard somewhere that one of the ANBU here is in possession of a Curse Seal, the Body Seal to be exact. Where might I find her?"
