Okay... that does clear up quite a few questions! ^_^
The reason I was confused about the identity of our Fay was that there are memories from both inside the tower and out... so I got confused... and I still am, actually. But hey. Watcha gonna do apart from keep on loving it!

I don't think the King threw himself down. I'm pretty sure that by then another country had arrived to help and threw the King down themselves. It might have been Ceres; that would explain why Ashura-ou was there.
Some people are theorizing that the twins switched places right before one fell, since the twin in the window (Fay) is being much more like our Fai in that he's silently enduring the pain rather than being so proactive.

Something doesn't make sense here....
FWR said that the other curse only workes in Celes, right? And Celes is a country, not a world, right? The country Fai/Yuui was born in is not Celes, but Valeria, right? And the guy that told the twins that it was a curse is the weird dude that looks like FWR who lives in Valeria, right?
Then I'm confused.
(This whole thing was based on memory, so I won't be surprised if I got a couple of 'facts' wrong... sweatdrop In that case, I'm sorry...)

As far as I know, in the case of Tsubasa, 'country' and 'world' have the same meaning. Both the Japanese word 'kokou'... I think... Anyhow. What you're bringing up is a good point that I hadn't thought about before. Fai and Yuui aren't from Celes so the curse about their happiness can't be the curse to do with Celes... hm... now I'm confused too... guess we'll all just have to wait

I thought Celes and Valeiera were neighboring countries...like, within the same world. So to go back and forth from Celes and Valeria you wouldn't have to use Yuuko or Mokona or transport magic or things like that...but I dunno. *shurgs*

Eh... I think... Nevermind. xd I'm not even gonna try to understand ti anymore. I'm actually getting really bored of Fay's past. Wow, and I've been waiting for it for ages.
Yaaaaaaaaawn. On to the future, please! I only care about what WILL happen between Fay and Ashura and his twin or whatever.

Maybe I interpreted it incorrectly, but 'get Yuui out of here'... that actually came off as a selfish remark. Kind of like 'get Yuui out of the way'...I mean, coming from the Fay that we know, I wouldn't be too surprised. That would make sense as to the whole 'you killed me' statement...

I thought chapter 157 was stupid. Basically, we are no further along in the story than we were in chapter 156. They keep saying the same things over and over and nothing progresses. I think they're trying to draw it out now....hopefully chapter 158 will have more substance. I want some answers to my questions now! Plzkthx!

So...Wait...Did FWR say what the other curse was? Or was the curse that he had to be FWR's pawn? crying I hope it's the latter, because FWR said that Fay wasn't supposed to remember it. I don't want Fay on FWR's side...Though I guess it would make sense.
Or...wait...no, the other curse is the one that only works in Celes, right? Gahh...I knew I should've listened to my friend when she told me not to get into a series that wasn't completed yet...

Okay... as far as I could tell:
Curse 1: Killing the person with the most likely ability to save him from his past (ie, Sakura-chan)
Curse 2: Unknowingly being FWR's pawn. I think the thing about it only working in Celes was that he wouldn't remember it until he went back to Celes.
What's wrong with getting into an uncomplete series? It's all the more fun!
