Baku shook his head as he looked over to Karu, tapping his head some and inserting chakra to null the pain for now. "Let's continue."

Karu sank to his knees, white filling his vision as the pain washed over him, loosing a primal scream of rage and agony. Focus, FOCUS DAMN YOU! He gritted his teeth, standing up shakily, forcing the memory to the back of his mind. "Oh I will kill him..."

"In due time my apprentice, but for now back to training. We still have to form this new blade into the proper shape."

Karu nodded, moving the Ley Lines to where they were before, The blade beginning to glow with the purple chakra. "What next?"

"You have to be able to ebb your chakra to create a serrated blade, smooth out your chakra to create a katana like blade, and curve your chakra to create a halberd like blade. Try flexing your chakra and imagine your chakra forming a serrated blade. Your Ley Lines should contort as your chakra forms and moves."

Karu focused, forcing the Lines into a jagged shape, and recharged the chakra in them, which produced more of a wavy effect. Hn. That didn't work... He rearranged the Chakra, instead giving it short spaces to escape, and smirked when the 'sawtooth' shape appeared. "Well, that worked..."

"Now smooth your chakra out into a katana blade but this time spin as you do, wind chakra is the best chakra for cutting and actual wind will substitute for your lack of elemental chakra."

Karu nodded, smoothing out the chakra into the desired shape, then started to move it in an orbital pattern around his body. He sped up the process, this time altering its path so that it would move in a sphere and began moving the air currents around him along with the sword. When he felt the strain becoming too much, he telekinetically 'threw' the sphere at a nearby tree, punching through it in a heartbeat, causing the tree to topple over away from the two. Feeling drained from the sudden loss of Chakra, Karu sank to one knee, panting slightly. "I didn't know I could do that..."

"Ah now you see why the elements are hard to control and form. I'd say it's a blessing you do not have them." Baku walked over to him and knelt some. "Now we must improve your body, and this is where Doku-san will come in. Even though the katana is a simple blade form it seems to take the most out of you because of the element factor."

Baku's assistant appeared with Etsuko as he lay him down. He then opened a little kit and filled a syringe then injected Etsuko. "That should help for now."

"Pain, I can learn to tolerate," Karu replied curtly. "The only thing that concerns me at the moment is that memory of Naoshi's; if I can find a way to block that, then I will have nothing to fear."
