Bubble Bobble was one of those fun hanging out with freinds type games from the early days. The only way you could actually get anywhere was if you were playing with a friend. Here's the wiki article on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_BobbleIt was pretty wild. It started out simple, but the layouts of the levels would get harder and yet at the same time cooler. And there were tons of power ups. Plus you played dinos that could blow bubbles and then bounce on them. blaugh That in itself if pretty cute and clever. Sorry I haven't been on too much. I haven't felt so social lately. emo Don't know why. How've you been?

Right... I think I saw a small review of it on "Club Nintendo mag". It's a magazine for Latin America in case you don't know about it. wink I suppose the graphics back then weren't as great to portray the cuteness of the dragons, right? I wonder if anyone would like to see a new version on the Wii, wouldn't that be cool? mrgreen Don't worry about it! I know you have a life too. 3nodding I've been great! Last week, I finished Zelda PH with almost everything. By this I mean that I got all the gold parts for my ship, I got all the kinds of fish you can get, I got all kinds of treasure too. The only things I couldn't get a hold of were: 1. The last heart container for making over 1700 points in the archery game. The dam game is impossible! stressed 2. There is a ship part that eluded me and it's called the tropical prow. I think that's about it! The ending was pretty good and I would like to see if I can finish this again in a new file. This time, I won't get half the heart containers to make it a bit tougher. 3nodding How are you these days Nina? I hope Jen comes back soon... Jen:I've tried to feed Brownie but the site won't accept me hugging it more than once. Too bad, eh? Or at least the meter didn't seem to budge when I tried the last time. rolleyes

Hypno: *shrugs* I'm not sure what it is exactly, I just like playing it.
In Smash Bros? I actually do really well with Zelsa/Sheik.
Yeah. I need to beat Lord Bane now in Puzzle Quest. It says "Final Battle"
Yeah, I have the same problem with hugging Brownnie. confused
Nana: I haven't been on much lately 'caue life has become quite busy/hectic. ^^;

Hey Jen! nice to see you back. wink
Oh, so you can't explain why you like it, huh? Too bad. I was really looking forward to that; oh well... mrgreen
Ah, so princess Zelda and Zelda in her Sheik outfit are good for you, hmm? That's neat! Too bad about the typo, he-he. sweatdrop
Really? Is it much harder?
That's weird... I wonder why that was cuz, I think I was able to hug it more than once last time I visited. I hope that was just a glitch or something. Or maybe they did that cuz many people were logging on just to hug their own pets many times, causing the servers to overload or whatever. They should do that only to the pets who have too many hugs already. Otherwise, how is one to catch up!? rolleyes

Thanks.
Can you put into words why you like to play every single game that you play?
Yup, I do well with Zelda/Sheik, Link seems to be my best however.
Yeah I've tried to beat Bane several times to no avail. *sigh*
I don't know what's up with it. I did post something up in the knuffel thread about my trouble.

Yer welcome!
Well, I can sure put into words why I like all of my favorites, yes! But all the games I've ever played? Nope! Especially those I didn't particularly like or those who I didn't care much for. However, I don't feel like typing up the reasons why I like all my faves, that would take too darn long. If you ask me about the favorite one I'm playing right now though, I could make time if it's for a cool pal like you. 3nodding
I see... do you have a most favorite move that you use with Link? I hear each character has different ones.
Ouch! That's too bad. How is it THAT much harder anyway? Is it cuz you only have pieces that don't fit or what? Cuz if it's like Tetris, I am never going to like the darn thing...
That's awful! Not knowing I mean. Let us know if you receive and answer or what.

Well Hypno, I sexied up my ava for Gaia Spirit Week: Dress like a whore Day. Figured you'd have something to say about that. wink
I can't really. I guess the biggest reason I like it would be childhood memories. I enjoyed it as a kid. *shrugs* Now I enjoy it 'caue it's something that Hubby will sit down and play with me. 4laugh
I mostly push buttons rather than "do moves" sweatdrop I guess I'm not that great of a player.
Though game play remains the same the "mosters" as well as your character have various "spells" that you can cast and items that you can equip. Lord Bane has some butt-kicking spells... mostly 'cause he can cast them for so cheap. gonk

Ha-ha! I didn't actually participate. Did you get something good for yer trouble? And btw, you did a great job with that avi in particular. All I can say is this: SirKirbance is a really lucky fellow. 3nodding
I see... At least you have a good reason to still like it and who knows, maybe one day, yer two girls will sit down and play them with you, you know? That would be nice.
That's ok Jen, not all of us are adept at the art of "button smashing", he-he. If you'd like to learn a great move for Link, or another character (mostly an easy one), I can look one up and tell you how it's done. Don't you think it would be nice to surprise someone like... I don't know, maybe yer hubby by pulling off a cool move? I think he would be impressed by you! 3nodding
Gee Jen, that doesn't sound fair but I suppose it's to be expected. And will you look at that!? The guy has the same name as one of Batman's enemies. Go figure... mrgreen Well, best of luck on that game then! Not that it matters much but still...
PS: I miss Nina. cry

~pokes Ferdinand~ whee
Most games I've enjoyed playing have had good story lines that kept me drawn in, wanting to finish so that I could see the end of the story. (Even though those ending sometimes took years to reach because I'd put the game down, but I'd always remember the story when I picked the game back up.)
Right now though, I'm enjoying playing Sims 2 because I can make my own story. It's fun. ^_^
Any other games, like fighting and adventure games I have to be in a mood for. Sometimes I don't want to read or to think, and I just want to bash bash bash. mrgreen (Or Run, jump, run, jump.)
And I have to agree, Jen. I LOVe your outfit. It's very whimsical to me. I love the piles of money at your sexy feet. blaugh

Hey! Did someone just poked me in the buttcheek? Ha-ha! rofl
Gee Nina, you must have a heck of a memory cuz sometimes, if I put a game down and don't pick it up again in a short time, I have to be reminded of what I was doing. Especially if a long time has passed!
I remember you telling me that you love Sims games so, it's no wonder, he-he.
Really? Hmm, you'd think that adventure games would be pretty cool to play at anytime. You make it sound as if they're like sex, that you have to be in the mood for them, he-he. mrgreen
Well, since Nina already said so, I see no harm in agreeing with her that Jen's avatar was very sexy looking (it's like every guy's fantasy come true). But wait, aren't those supposed to be candles? Since when are those piles of money anyway? confused

It's gone now, but it looked like money to me. Money would have been funnier than candles I think. But then I don't keep up on any of the items on Gaia anymore, so I don't know any of them really unless I own them.
Adventure games sound like... eek rofl
My memory comes and goes. Tell me to meet you at some place at some time or remind you about some thing, and I most certainly will forget.
But I used to be really good at RPGs. I could remember story lines, and I could remember stats pretty well. Some times I might have to be reminded if I've been away for a long time, but in most cases the stories are so memorable that I can't easily forget them.

You do have a point in that the candles sort of look like piles of cash. Maybe they should release actual piles of money on Gaia. And I know what you mean cuz I hardly know about items on Gaia unless I own them. When I occasionally see one I like, I try to look into it. 3nodding
Ha-ha! I still like adventure games better than sports games...
Really? We might be a bit alike cuz there are things I tend to forget too. Thank goodness I can remember my stories at least.
That's great Nina! What's yer most favorite RPG game story? I haven't played many myself so the only one I can recall is FFVII. 3nodding

I'm playing FF4 right now on the DS. By far, that one made the largest impression on me when I first played it on the SNES.
Many people will disagree. People who have played the older versions love FF6, which is also just an amazing game on the SNES. But I loved FF4.
FF4 is pure story with lots of game play. Characters come and go in the storyline, you never have to choose a party because it is set for you. The characters are so complex. They fight with themselves. Like the one character, Kain, who is madly in love with someone who loves another. He's a good guy, but he ends up falling to the dark side and doing some bad things, most especially betraying his best friend, and has to redeem himself.
I liked 7, but I must admit I got to the very end and I don't remember finishing it. The story was interesting, but at the same time I found it confusing. Can't really explain it... FF4 is pure story, supported HEAVILY by the lovely music of Uematsu. FF7 is more flash and sizzle, supported more by the 3-d graphics at the time.
I'd suggest picking up the FF4 remake for DS. it's pretty fun and is very faithful.

Gee Nina, I wish I could get FF4 too but, right now I only have saved up enough for FFTA2. 3nodding So, are there any more differences between the original FF4 on the SNES and the remake besides the graphics? I'm with you on the confusing story of FF7. Even the folks at EGM mentioned it as one of the most confusing stories on video game history (the most confusing was Metal Gear). Since I've only played FF 1, 2, 7 and 10. I can't say much about the saga other than my favorite is the 7th one. 3nodding
