flowergirl01 locrion oOo watch and behold as my B.C. rich pwns all Noob basses!!!!!!  Never BC can burn in purgatory but not hell cuz I work there for time to time and don't want to see it. evil oOo scary. B.C. Rich are nice. B.C. Rich has a bad rap because of people with the same mind set as you. It sounds way better than anything I have ever heard or played. Fender, Squire, Gibson,Eppiphone, all of them are terrible. The only thing that may be able to match it is Warwick or something way up there.

I could honestly care less about how good it sounds, if you need your bass to bolster your image, than I'd just as soon not play. I don't wanna play a bass that could cut me, I don't wanna play a bass that's not versatile enough to play more than one genre, and I don't wanna play a bass that would get me laughed at. B.C. Rich could be the Stradivarius of the bass world, and I wouldn't play one because they're that ridiculous. I'd think twice before calling any other bass manufacturer besides the ones you like "terrible".

Well, a bass - no matter what brand - can sound horrible simply because the bass doesnt decide on how it sounds, the player does. And if the bassplayer is no good than not even a musicman, gibson, fender or whatever can save him/her! Talking about a bass when it comes to the materials used then you can make a list of bad, moderate and good etc etc. But the sound is mainly defined by the player and the other equipment. But about the first point I have to agree that B.C. Rich guitars are usually bought for the image and not for the quality. And it is true that B.C. Rich when it comes to materials is moderate of quality most of the times. But the sound can be modified in all directions, you just might need an FX unit with a trunk load of pre-amps to get it done, but hey the result is what matters! One can even use the cheapest of staggs or squiers and still get a very decent sound out of it! On the other hand, one should buy a bass that suits his or her character, so if you want to create a image for which a BC rich is very suitable, be happy they exist! I mean it would be boring if everybody playd fender or gibson :p Buutt in the end:p its all down to taste and stuff. Dont bash eachother too much on the choice of bass! To each his own!

Besides, it's my first bass guitar. Don't judge me. ;_____;
Here's me three months ago. I also had my hair straightened that day, so I look kind of different.

Then you obviously know nothing about basses at all, fender makes great basses, and gibson is unequaled in its awsome goodness, trust me any one who is a real bassist dreams of owning either a gibson SG, les paul, Thunderbird, or other bass. Epiphone makes some of the best imations ever as well. I would love an Epi t-bird. I can't stand BC rich, though if the person plays it and sounds good that's kick as but as an intenstrument, Bc is weak. Few tone options, and some what weaker matererials. pluse as said befor it could decapitate people. I would rather have a squire P bass then any kind of BC rich. Honestly you can't knock Fender or Gibson, I can understand epiphone and squire, but you can't knock fender or gibson. If you do the gods of rock will shurly damn you to pop hell for eternaty, go hang with brit and justine when you die! evil

I prefer gibson, but hey the thunderbird is prity crazy looking to. Now I must also say I hate sterio types, so I usually dislike stereo type giutars. And I hate the stereo type that if you are in a metal band you must play bc rich. Me I think we should all be cool and make our own guitars, that's what I am doing now.

I bought it for the sound. and now it has EMG's on it. So quit your bitching.
