Yeah, Christmas is definitely cool.
*answers her next question* Well, it's winter. It's just the season. *He starts to head out of the store and chuckles.* I mean, it's not nuclear winter. It's not like it's cold everywhere. New England and Pennsylvania just get ******** brutal once you hit January and February.
*looks over at Cora* I guess you guys don't have seasons any more, huh?

Noo... ::She didn''t seem phased by this, it was all just fact to her:::
The atmosphere despiated a very long time ago. Now the city shields itself from all outside earthly contact as to avoid heat poisoning. Before going to Tacitus'' time, I''d never even seen the sun before.

:::She saw that it upset him, and she could imagine why:::
It''s alright Luke. You may be attached to these things, but I never had them during my lifetime, so I don''t feel at a loss...
:::Cora waited for a reaction to make sure she had gauged the expression correctly:::

*Luke never thought about it that way, about being attached to the sun. But damn, he guessed he was.*
Jesus, when did this start happening?

Oooh...
:::She estimates::: Round the late 2700's. Really Luke, you won't be effected by it. And I don't think humans will be able to take any preventative measures either, this sort of thing just happens to planets sometimes.
:::Hopefully::: But! Weeee survived! Right? :::little smile crossing her face in a lighthearted manner:::

*Luke smiled a little despite himself at Cora's display. He ruffled her hair as he led her out of the shop.* Yeah. We survived and evolved into Power Rangers.
*Luke shakes the thoughts of the mass destruction of the human race out of his mind. He'll have to think about it later... 2700? The human race's got time.*
Alright. *He perks up and announces.* Moving on.
You've got wine. I have inside knowledge on the evolution of the human race.
Where else do we wanna hit?

:::Cora thought to herself for a moment. She really had no idea what she wanted to do or see next:::
I don't know, Luke...I'm not really...
:::But as they walked on, something on the other side of the street came into view. It dislayed lots and lots of colorful objects all around its entrance, and apparently they continued inside:::
What's that Luke?

Yes! :::She answered Luke enthusiasitcally:::
Tacitus has given me flowers before. Can we look at them? I read that in many points in earth's history that there were hundreds of thousands of species!!

:::She stepped lively in the direction of the flower shop, and didn't slow down to talk:::
Oh, no I don't think I could keep them. They need sunlight to survive, and when I go back, I won't be able to provide it for them. I just want to see them.
:::She sounded perfectly content with this idea:::

Eh, you don''t have to keep them alive. It''s not like they sell ''em with the roots attached.
