Ananda walked back to the games. She still had Rille's tokens in her backpack, and she was determined to do something to make up to her cousin. "I just hope I don't lose tokens for her," she said, grinning sadly. Paying her five tokens, she began to lob dolls into the van, throwing them a little harder than she intended.

"Well, I got one at least," Ananda said with a shrug when all but one of her dolls sailed far over the van. "Well, lets try again. This is kinda fun!" Paying her five tokens, she crossed her fingers for luck. Then, she took careful aim at the van, and gave each doll a more gentle toss, sending them spinning through the air towards the target.

"Gah! Only one again!" Two of the dolls had landed harmlessly on the ground, but one bounced off the van, and Ananda ducked as it came spinning towards her head. "Yowch! That was close. Okay, lets try again." This time, she tried to find middle ground between her two throwing strengths, and chucked the dolls overhand towards the van.

Ananda was surprised when she got a few bonus tokens for her last game. "Well, at least I won something this time...even if it's probably just a pity bonus for never winning any tokens. I guess I'll play again." A gust of wind snached at her dolls, almost blowing them out of her hand. "Hey!" She gripped them tightly, and waited a minute until the wind died down. Then she made her careful throws.

"Oh! Another bonus? Well, I'm getting some tokens now. Must be luck...I guess." Ananda paid for yet another game. She was really hooked, and had forgotten all about her fight. This time she tried a different tactic. She waited patiently for the van to come in her direction, then threw each of the dolls when it was closest to her.

The wind picked up suddenly, catching each of the little dolls and blowing them off. "Hey! No fair! I want my tokens back!" She argued for a few minutes with the man running the game, but it was soon obvious that he didn't intend to refund her tokens. "Fine. If you won't give me a refund, I'm not playing this game anymore," said Ananda, sounding like a little kid. She stalked off muttering, until she came to another game. "Hunh. Web shooting? Well, I'll give it a try, I guess." She paid her two tokens and aimed carefully at each target, pushing lightly on the trigger to send out her blasts of webbing.

"I like this game better. Even when I don't hit any targets I get a token," said Ananda when her first three misses somehow earned her a three-token bonus. "Lets see if I can do better this time." She paid for another game, and aimed quickly, firing three rapid shots that seemed to hang in the air before spinning towards the targets. "This is good practice for speed, I guess," Ananda muttered.

"Woah! Lookit all the tokens! I must be doing something right, even though I'm not even hitting the targets!" Ananda smiled happily as a huge bonus slid across the counter to her. "I like this game much better than the other one." She paid for another round out of her winnings, stuffing the rest into her backpack so she wouldn't lose them. Then, she took aim with the web shooter, and fired three rapid shots that flew at almoth the same time towards her targets.
