But drowning isn't a good idea either. And we can't wait in here until spring comes. he heaved himself out of the spring, and shook himself vigerously; water flying in buckets off his long coat. We'll have to stay close to the spring until we dry enough not to freeze, though our coats icing over will actually keep us warm. Though, being close will keep us warmer.

Tie climbed out as well and shook herself off. She looked at Aku, thought for a moment, and then scooted closer to him. EVen next to the spring she still felt a bit cold. And she didn't like being cold if she could avoid it.

He folded a wing losely over her back to help keep some of the heat to her. And he waited with his wing over her until they dried.

He shrugs good-naturedly. It happens. And I got used to it. There was no one willing to put up with me. So, I just grew up knowing I was always going to be alone.

He looked away. I killed. I don't exactly remember what, but I did. I think it was a human. Actually, several. And I think every time I ever saw one, I went after them. They were on my lands. They were after my mares. I hated them. And I handled them like I would any other threat; like one would a snake.
