While awaiting for the boys to wake up, Nakamura noticed that during the time she was dragging them, that some of their clothes happened to loosen up. Boots and other clothes began floating in the water, but what was odd about them was that there were some unsightly rips and tears in some of the articles of clothing. They floated around the water, bumping the boys randomly, which was odd to her because there was no current in the Spring. She raised an eyebrow to this, but didn't think too much about it, at least not until she could feel the two chakra signatures growing exponentially more powerfull.

"They will be okay. They just need a few minutes in the Springs." she noted to Shinji. Seeing the two in their current state couldn't have been good for his psyche. Wanting to be a ninja and seeing a possible result of that training wasn't exactly one of the sights she wanted him to see first. Perhaps if she began his training right now, he would get a better sense of things. "Shinji, look into yourself, see if you can feel the chakra in the water."

Felix was simply unconscious as he was dragged along by Ayala and Nakamura for that matter... but as soon as his body hit the water of the Silver Spring a tremendous fever took his body. Even below the water, his forehead built with sweat from the inner struggle.. it covered all of his skin and was quickly washed away by the healing properties of the spring which were consuming him, but now, the virus was struggling against all of him and the water both. His body had begun floating back to the surface of the spring, but just before he broke the water, his body twitched.
Felix curled in a spasmodic fashion, the young boy's mouth opened and bubbles rushed to the top of the spring... breaking there in the small commotion caused by his movements. His eyes were still closed as he was completely unconscious. This was just his body working against the unknown poison in the system.
Felix's arm rippled first... and the ripple traveled up his bloodstream and muscles through his neck... then his other arm. It would be impossible to tell what was happening from above the surface of the water, just looking down.. but obviously something was not right. The sense of 'metal' in Felix's chakra became overly abundant.. overpowering any other 'smell' in it... for a moment.. then it quieted down... then raised powerfully once more... then quieted...
Felix's sandals' snapped, and broke off, floating up to the surface of the water.. and the rest of his clothing began to rip and loosen the belts that held it... fortunately Felix wore loose and un-restrictive clothing for his training, save for the belting.. but even this ripped in certain parts, such as along his spine, which grew considerably as his form mutated.
In a matter of moments it was over, though Felix continued to lie upon the bottom of the spring, as if his very blood was weighted with something. His eyes remained closed unconscious. Bit by bit he floated upwards, till his body rest upon the surface of the water again... covered in his old black attire like rags. His skin was fair and white, as if newborn.. and he seemed to be sleeping peacefully.
Sleeping peacefully upon the surface of the silver spring... floating of his own accord.. his body drifting in the beautiful clearing, clothed in dark rags.. contrasting the pale of his skin. The static of the scene was palpable.

Shinji continued to concentrate his chakra, at least that's what he thought he was doing. It was so hard to tell what it was he was channeling. He closed his eyes again and held his breath. It felt almost like a pulsation, colliding with his body.

"I'm - I'm really struggling to focus on it" Shinji said, attempting to keep his mind focused. "I think I'm feeling...something...there's just...so much of it" Shinji's arms began to shake and he allowed his breathing to return to normal.

"In the spring?" Shinji edged forward, still trying to keep his mind focused on the endless flow of chakra. Leaning down, he reached his hand towards the spring and placed the tips of his fingers into it. A relaxing sensation seemed to run along Shinji's arm. The strain from concentration seemed to lift quite drastically. He was still struggling to focus exactly, but the Chakra levels seemed less intense.

"I think that's helping" Shinji said, working hard to keep his mind focused. "There's just...a lot of...pressure"

Shinji focused with all his strength, apparently drawing some sort of strength from the water. The blurred mess of chakra began to converge into itself, forming larger shapes in more specific places.

"I...I think I can see" Shinji said, feeling his fingers pressing into the palm of his hands. It was strange, even though he was not looking he seemed to be able to see the shapes in his mind.

Ryu-o had followed the trail to the silver springs; when he arrived he saw in the distance several people there, some unconcious and with ripped clothes, and some with slightly better fortune than the rest. Nevertheless he saw headbands, takigakure headbands that reflected off of the afternoon sun and shone brightly; Ryu-o was very interested in these characters so he decided to inquire as to what they were doing there.

As Ryu-o crawled towards them and stopped to figure out what they were doing he noticed one of the nin trying to focus, he saw the female nin overseeing the other one so he assumed that she was of higher lvl to be able to teach someone else a technique.

After a few minutes of containing his excitement and observing them train he couldn't contain himself anymore, he just had to go and see what was going on but most importantly, if he could take part. Ryu-o came jogging out of the distance and adressed the eldest nin.

"hey can i join?"

Ryu-o remembered his journey here, it wasn't a long one since he had started in the Takigakure village, but he suspected that something would be disturbed if he managed to say something to concern her, so he just went with the safe answer.

"oh uuhh, i just followed the trail that someone left to here, i hope that isn't a problem."

turning to the other ninja focusing on his training Ryu-o decided that he could afford to say hi at least so he gave him a quick "sup" and started to train as he was told.

His objective was to recognize Chakra signatures around him, he didn't really understand what she meant, but all he could do was try to recognize chakra signatures, he'd learned about chakra before; he knew it was a combination of the inherent mental energy in every person, and the physical energy of the body gained from training and hard work; those two elements made up a kind of ethereal energy which can sometimes be visible depending on it's madgnitude.

"ok then, just see the chakra, obviously i'll have to focus on someone, i guess she'll do ok. Ryu-o looked at the female ninja which he realized he didn't know the name of, and focused on trying to see the energy she contained within her."

Ryu-o concentrated on feeling the chakra within the female ninja, he was trying to sense something that couldn't be seen so how would he be able to sense it? Suddenly, while focusing on the female ninja, he sensed something; it wasn't really something tangible nor audible, it was something that was there and yet was not, but it was blurry, hard to see, or more like...feel; he kept trying to catch this feeling. like trying to trap a butterfly the feeling moved all over the place, being lost out of sight and back into focus very sporadically, without a definite pattern, he could only make out a small area.

Shinji could now feel his head clearing, his focus improving drastically. “Okay, if all goes to plan, this’ll be the final push” he muttered outloud. He froze suddenly, realising how much pressure he had put on himself and how everyone’s expectations were now most likely raised. They probably hadn’t heard him anyway…probably. He began to focus his chakra again, feeling his senses building the shapes around him. They seemed to be becoming less fuzzy.

How did he fail? He shouldn't be messing up this badly this far into his training. Though he didn’t have time to think about that now, he had to see this to the end. The palm of his hand was almost as wet as the one placed in the spring. He dug his fingernails into it, focusing with all of his might. Come together, merge, come on! Shinji was beginning to feel anxious, he was getting so close, yet it all seemed so far away.

“This time, this time, this time!” Shinji wasn’t aware that he was now yelling out loud in front of everyone. His mind was focused on one thing and one thing only, getting these damn Chakra signals to focus. He had the power to get this done and the odds were stacked in his favour. If he didn’t do it now, he would definitely do it soon!
