Koichi quickly pulled his arm back laughing. "Heyyy, what was that for?" he asked, rubbing it as though she'd stabbed him with a knife; there was, though, a faint blue mark where it'd made contact. "I was only teasing... draw something else," he suggested, wanting to see what else was on her mind, or what else she could draw. He had already placed his hands back to where they'd been before he withdrew himself, grinning down at Kana.

Kana looked at him, head tilted innocently. "No reason..." she said softly, before she lost it and grinned broadly again as she turned back to the paper. She'd only taken up a small portion of it with the cake doodle, so she just turned the paper slightly so she'd have more room and began sketching, actually looking like she was putting a bit more effort into it. Soon, it began to take the form of a girl sitting in a chair, her hair pulled into a ponytail. Her cat ears were perked straight, and tail wound around the chair she was perched upon. Behind her, a male was leaning over her shoulder, hands on the chair and desk to keep himself balanced. It showed them from the back, as if someone was looking at them from a distance. It was all in blue, of course.

Koichi arched an eyebrow, looking down at the drawing. "Doesn't that look cute?" he grinned, noticing it was them -or so he could guess. "Are we sure you're sitting her, and aren't somewhere back there?" he teased, looking over his shoulder to make sure. "You're quite talented, Kitty," he complimented her, allowing his eyes to travel along the lines she'd made. He liked that it was all in blue and white, mainly because it didn't work to hard on his eyes with all the colors that should be in the fill.

Kana stuck her tongue out at him and nodded her head to indicate she was sure. But at the compliment, she grinned proudly. "Thank you!" she cried. When she didn't have anything to do at home and her mother was at work and Karin was busy with something, she'd just sit at home and draw. She'd become quite good at it over the years. "Do you want to draw something?" she asked after a moment, tilting her head curiously.

Koichi shook his head, chuckling softly. "I'd rather not," he admited, taking a smal step back as though to stop her from grabbing him and making him draw. He, apparently, was really bad at drawing; he never really could draw too good. It just never clicked in his head, and he only did it when extremely bored as a last resort. He took another step back for extra measure, incase she really did decide to grab him.

Kana pouted, tilting her head back far enough that she was looking at him upside down. She'd hooked her knees under the desk though, so when the chair tilted back on two legs, it wouldn't fall. "Why not?" she asked curiously, watching him upside down as he backed away. She was tempted to chuck her crayon at him, but kept herself from doing so. Besides, she didn't want to lose the blue one!

Koichi rubbed the back of his head, slightly embarrassed. "I suck at drawing, to tell you the truth," he admited softly, shuffling his foot against the floor for a moment before looking back up at her. He grinned, however, realizing how stupid he must sound. At least he admited it, though, rather than just yelling at her asking why he should tell her in the first place.

"Ah, well that's ok!" Kana cried suddenly, after having just simply stared at him for a moment. "We all have different strengths!" She leaned forward again so the chair landed back on all four legs and she spun slightly around, so she could look at him right side up now. "But, it just takes practice," she nodded with another grin. "If you don't want to though... what do you want me to draw?" She blinked at him curiously, awaiting an answer as she once again leaned back so she was watching him upside down. She couldn't seem to sit still any longer. After a cake and a nap, she seemed to have restored her energy once more. Though, it was probably because of the lake, actually. She was happy to say she could breathe through her nose again.

Koichi looked at her, a little nervious yet confused; he didn't know what to draw. "U-um... how about a... uh.." he started, trying to think of something to draw. "Oh! How about a fish?" he grinned, remembering she'd never found her fish at the lake. He felt bad, to tell the truth, that he'd let her fall off and into the deep waters of the lake; he hadn't been paying attention then, and yet, Kana was happy and smiling at him like it'd never happened.

Kana blinked at him, upside down head tilting even more upside down as she waited for a response. When he finally said one, a grin split across her face and she lurched back upwards, freezing for a second as the sudden movement made her head spin. She clutched at it and then continued as soon as it cleared up, taking her blue crayon and setting it against the paper. She liked fish with large fins that twirled behind the fish like ribbons, so that's the kind she drew.

Koichi just smiled, hands in his pockets, as he approached her once again. He watched her drawing a fish of her liking, smiling to himself the whole time. "Is that the fish you wanted to find?" he questioned, his eyes following in the wake of the crayon. Le photo est jolie, he thought, his fingers playing with a quarter in his pocket; when did it get in there?

"Yes!" Kana cried, a little too excitedly, as she continued the drawing, now working on the ribbon like fins. She threw in some green as well, mixing with the blue to add a bit more color to the drawing. Once she was done she picked it up, admiring it for a moment. Then she turned to face him, grinning, and offered it to him. "I drew this for you!" she laughed. It was kind of like how a little kid would proudly give away their drawings to have them hung on the fridge, or a wall.

[you read my mind before I could read your post xD :ish going to hang it over his bed:]
"Eh?" Koichi said in somewhat amasment at the drawing she offered. "Why, thank you, Kitty," he grinned, putting a hand on her head as he accepted the drawing. He looked around, staning straight up, before walking over to his bed. Leaning on the edge, he put the picture against the wall, not to close to the covers, but a good arms length up, before he poked it. He stood back and smiled. "It adds color to this dull room."

[Bwahaha. =P]
Kana smiled happily, shutting on eye as his hand rested upon her head again. Then she watched as he hung it over his bed and her smile seemed to grow broader as she let out a laugh. "Yes!" she agreed cheerfully. She had turned around in the chair again, and began rocking back and forth, as if to an imaginary tune. Her tail was flicking along with her, perfectly in sync.

Koichi bit his lip, clenching his jaw for a moment as he stood with his back to Kana; he wanted to just jump on her and give her a hug, but he was doing his best to restrain himself. After a moment, he calmed down and turned to face her. "Well, then, anything else on your mind you want to draw? Or would you rather want to go and see if everyone's done eating?" he suggested, a hand in his pocket while the other rested gently on his hip.
