xD Not much to say about this chapter. Didn't like it, didn't hate it. It was just kinda there.
But Sasuke taking that jacket off....whoo~ *fans self* That rivals Naruto's sexyness.
Of course, then he goes CS2...and the hotness is no more. D:
Kabuto really is going to freak. xD
And we get to hear Oro's sobstory. I really don't give a s**t about it...but I could never resist child-Oro. >> HeisjustsodamncuteOMG.

Chapter 344: @______@ I know I should not be fawning over Sasuke like an over-hyped fangirl, BUT-- Gah. heart His CS version resembles...a hawk? xD Wow. Now that Sasuke no longer wishes to give his body to Orchimaru, I wonder if any tactics will change. It is not sure when Naruto and Sakura will learn of this, or even what they will decide to do when they realize it. b;

I think they'll be split between happy and scared because, you know, if Sasuke leaves Orochimaru, they have no idea where he is and he's more than likely going after Akatsuki. And he hasnt' dealt with Akatsuki like they have.
Which means, he's after Itachi. And Itachi is after Naruto for the Kyuubi. Any battle with Akatsuki, for that matter, is a dangerous battle particularly for Naruto. One with Itachi will be even more dangerous.
So where as they'll be glad Sasuke's away from Orochimaru, I think they'll be pushed to even faster action because he'll be after Itachi, or they may lose his trail forever.
Which means, ti's time to search him out. Which means they need the search team-- TEAM 8!

I DO miss Team 8, particularly because I'm wanting a little NaruHina fluff. And I wuv Akamaru.
Anyway, I think that 344 rocked. I dunno, it's another of those turning points. It looks like it's going to last just one more chapter, though - the preview message said that the battle's coming to a conclusion. Do you think that it'll be in favor of Sasuke? I don't think so, personally - Orochi's had a long standing position as the main villain in the story (especially before the Akatsuki came along) so I doubt he'd get killed so easily. I was thinking his demise would be a little slower than this.
But then again, Sai's conversion from the Dark Side took a short time too, so I shouldn't be suprised.
But I agree with Iia-san - chibi!Orochi is hard to resist. How can that snake b*****d look so... so innocent when he was young? So CUUUUUTE.
Anyway, whether or not Sasuke's going to defeat Orochi, it ought to be interesting in the next chappie.

A ninjas strenght, after all, only truly comes out when he's protecting something.Which is another reason I see Sakura involved in the fight. We need a battle with Sasuke protecting Sakura where Naruto doesn't butt in and steal the glory right when Sasuke gets ready to fight.

Even if it is, I'm not worried at all. Nope, not at all.
I dont' believe Oro has his body. Why? Because we've already seen his state after a body transfer. He's covered in bandages. He was covered in bandages all through the Sasuke Retriveal Arc.
He's sick. He wouldn't be walking around like that so easily, especially after a huge battle agaisnt Sasuke where he basically got his a** handed to him (and he still somehow gets his body? Hmm... curious.)
Sasuke has as much hatred for Orochimaru as he has for Itachi. He hates Orochimaru because he's like Itachi. And he hates Itachi.
If there was a body transfer, Sasuke would die. And I'm not saying this as a SasuSaku fan, but that would end the story. The entire premisis for Part 2 is retriving Sasuke. That's why they've been trying so hard to get to Sasuke-- so he wouldn't die. So lets throw out all of Naruto and Sakura's training, why don't we. Let's throw out hteir reason for fighting. Let's make NARUTO FAIL. Let's make it so that he doesn't become Hokage (Naruto himself stated "Like someone who can't even save hsi friend can become Hokage.").
Getting Sasuke back is what's driven Naruto and Sakura to train and become strong. It's what drives Naruto to keep going-- it's why he learned Fuuton: RasenShuriken. It's why Sakura studied medical ninjutsu and gained inhumane strength.
It's why Sakura let herself use explosive tags near her body, take in Sasori's poison, and let herself get stabbed in the gut with a sword-- to gain information from Sasori on Orochimaru so she could find Sasuke. Sakura has never done that for anyone. It's why she was willing to run toward 4-tailed Kyuubi without fear. It's why she put up with Sai. It's why she was willing to pin Sai to a wall.
IT'S WHY SHE THINKS SHE'S TOO WEAK.
Sasuke is why Naruto trained with Jiraiya. It's why he was easy to anger and becoming 4-Tailed Kyuubi. It was why he found the strenght to develop his Fuuton: RasenShuriken. It's what Naruto is weighing his ability to become Hokage on.
SASUKE IS THE HEART OF TEAM 7.
Without Sasuke, it's all going to fall apart. What's going to happen to the series then? Think about it.

I KNEW IT. I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. .. Okay, so I might not have acted like it, but ohhh.. I knew this was coming..
WHY, KISHIMOTO -- WHY?!
Naturally there's a chance Sasuke could have one, but lookattheendtext. One is GONE. Of course you can't always believe that text, but whatever -- if Sasuke won, Oro might still be inside of him and will probably slowly gain control. If Orochimaru won, then undoubtedly a small part of Sasuke is still conscious, or else there goes over half the manga down the drain. [Obviously I want it to be the first option, with NO Oro inside of Sasuke.]
But what I'm worried about is this.. will this be the last time we see Sasuke for thirty or so chapters? Will Kishi leave us hanging until the next time Naruto and Sakura meet 'Sasuke'? God, I hope not.
I'll be pissed if he makes this cliff-hanger last more than one chapter.
