((Sorry getting use to checking Gaia again, not in schedule yet sweatdrop ))
"You could probably use that to your advantage, but hiding and running as a salamancer during a battle probably wouldn't turn out to well" He sighed and sat down, his slimy tail waving around the sand, with him still being a Pae'il, a few grains sticking to it
"I know, but I can't just fly up and circle around the world, don't have wings, but you guys do, or are they really not meant for flying, more just for display?"

Zoe nodded. "Oh, well I'm not a fighter. My family isn't. We are more musical. I play bass gutar, my dad lead, my grandma and sister sing and Luau LuLu plays drum in "Jazz and the Beach Bums". Zoe smiled brightly as she always loved talking about the band.
Hula Bob flapped his wings and flew off the ground for a moment. "They are awesome, but I prefer surfing."

"Oh I didn't really mean a fighter, I was just comparing a situation, I don't see much of violence around here anyway" He wondered what she was talking about, he never really heard any music or songs before "What's a music?"
"So they do make you fly, I wonder why I've enver seen any other Pae'il fly over the lake before, isn't this the center of the island?"

This shocked Zoe. How could he not know what music was? She was raised around it so to her it was like air or water. "Wait just a sec, k?"
Zoe got up and went into the bar. After a few moments whe was back with her bass guitar. "Here, this is...though only bass isn't the greatest." She knew that it went better with more guitars and things. Still she played the bass beat for him.
Hula Bob didn't know what to say. "Well, I think we use them when we need them. Most don't need to fly over the lake." He shrugged as that was the best answer he had.

He looked at the guitar curiously and looked at one of the strings "You just move your hands over this thing and it makes this music, is it some sort of magic?"
"I guess that's true, but I don't see anyone swimming the lake either, alot?" He rubbed his legs as they felt itchy, he knew it was almost time for another refresher, he just wanted to stay on land alittle longer

Zoe nodded as she played it for him. "No, it's just music. That's not magic, silly." Zoe giggled a little and winked to him. What a silly boy he was.
"I swim and surf. I think others swim and surf alot too. You just miss them all. Bummer." Hula Bob nodded to say Des could go back in the water if he wanted.

"Oh then how do make that sound with that thing, you just move you hands like that?" He scratched his head and lowered his wings, feeling so clueless about something that probably was common knowledge
"I waited in the lake alot of times, but never saw anyone until now, no one ever even came to look at the lake..." He sat on the moist sand and let the tide soak his legs, switching back into a tail and back into legs when the tide went back out "And now that I have this necklace and can walk on the land I stared out since I could see, I don't even know what to do?"

Zoe nodded. "Yep, but it takes talent to get it to sound good. Or at least heart. That's what my daddy says."
"You just may miss people. Anyway, I think you just need to meet people. Next time you see someone just talk to them." He didn't know what else to tell the Naiad.

"I know I couldn't make a sound like that if I was holding that thing?" He twitched his wings alittle and squinted at the instrument It looks like a big metal club, but when she moves her hands over that thin wire it makes a sound?
"Yeah, but the only problem is with this necklace, I can only stay out of water as long as this keeps me moist, I don't have too much time on land, hardly enough to sit down and get to know someone that's far away from here" He let his lower body dip in out of the lake with the tides, switching back and forth without him even noticing the changes anymore, he felt use to it by now "Pae'il can walk on land and fly in the air, but they can't hold their breath too good, Naiads cans wim real fast, but even with this necklace we aren't able to walk forever"

Zoe smiled and thought about that. "True I guess. It takes talent and heart too. I come from very musical paes. My grandma is the entertainment elder even." She nodded proudly.
Hula Bob nodded. "I guess that is a bummer. Still, when you're older I"m sure you will last longer. I knew of a pae that could hold her breath a long time..." He floated off in his mind thinking about his once elder mate. He shook his head and grounded himself.

"You can become an elder by playing music?" He wasn't sure how to become an elder, but he wanted to somehow, maybe he could even find out hpw those emeralds were linked to him
"I suppose that's true, but aI still wonder how long these necklaces can last, it looks like it's more then time limited, but maybe it is also affected the wearer's feelings?"

"I'm sure age. It's a bummer but you'll get used it and understand it." Hula Bob nodded with a wink.
"Well, my grandma is more then just a pretty face that plays music. She is awesome and she rocks. Plus, she had hard things to overcome." Zoe explained. She didn't know about being and elder and since she was a teen didn't worry about it much.

"I guess it's like battle against yourself to become an elder, but I don't think I would have to worry" He smiled and flapped his wings a nit "There's nothing too hard for overcome" He felt the emeralds pulse throughj him as their glow apepared on parts his body, slowly forming outside of his and hovering around him "Something about these jewels, gives the feeling of a strength awakening inside me"
"Yes, that seems to be the anwser to most questions pondered by the child stage, but I'm already as intelligent as an adult and even more then some other adults, still I guess the guardians are more advanced then any Pae'il could ever be"

Hula Bob nodded, but he wasn't sure the child was that smart. He wasn't being mean it was just the Naiad was a child. He wasn't really sure what to say to that.
Zoe nodded not really sure what it was Chaos was talking about. "I don't know." She smiled and said.

"Well you did say she had to overcome some hards things, isn't overcoming yourself the hardest of them all, maybe that's the reason some elders are chosen, they can overcome their greatest weakness?" He almost looked in a trance as he stared deeply iinto the emeralds, something about them couldn't keep his eyes off them
He looked at the older Pae'il with a puzzled look "You seem uncertain, but you do agree that a person of my age would still be naive and childish?"
