Nice to meet you by the way! It's always good to even inventory things before the move yourself. When I moved to Germany with my family, we had a load of stuff missing. Strange, little things, like remote controls, figurines and such. Because we had it documented in not only the invintory sheets, but also photographs- we were believed. However, I am not sure what my parents got as compensation. Nice to meet you too! heart

Okay, so I'm going through this frustrating process of trying to find a preschool for Logan in the fall. I went to the nearby school that I know has one and it's RIGHT by my house. Not a problem, so I thought.
The problem is they won't be doing registration until last week of July, first of August. They told me I wouldn't be able to know if we qualify for the free preschool until then with a copy of his LES, whatnot. Which, I don't like just waiting around till then and it not working out. A friend told me there's a Headstart program on the army base, her husband is the same rank, so we would qualify for that. Of course, I would prefer to go closer to home.
With NO help from the school, I've decided to look on the web. It's been hard to get info, but basically in order for him to get in he has to meet income requirements, yadda yadda. I'm a bit confused with all the numbers. So here's the bottom line question:
My dh is an E-5 with 4 years in. I'm not sure if I'm reading all the numbers right, but will we qualify for one, WIC and two, the lunch program which guarantees his place in preschool.
http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Governance/notices/iegs/IEG05-06.pdf
Which that website has the numbers. I'm just trying to figure if this pregnancy is considering under the household members or not? My head is just fried and not a lot of people who work for EITHER of those seem to be helpful on the phone. I don't want to to wait till last minute to know.

Yup, it only gets even more hectic, especially if they deploy! Throw kids into the mix, it's a lovely little military cocktail, lol. xd

Okay, found out that an e-5 with 4 years in WILL qualify for WIC. Apparently, they will include the baby as a member of the household even if he's not born just yet.
Now, dh is talking he'd much rather prefer Logan to go on base for preschool, so I'm going to have to scour the AFB and the army post to see how long waits are and if we qualify for the headstart. xp
