Mister Deja Vu Makes me kind of sad, didn't he say that he planned to retire, from music at least, in 2007? That's not so far away anymore..
Then again, I get the feeling he couldn't bring himself to actually do it. When I was watching clips on his Platinum Box V (something with two kids and You dressed up like an old man), I was worried when I caught a glimpse of a tombstone in the background... It read: Gackt 1993-2007 I really hope he doesn't retire... ; 3;

Then again, I get the feeling he couldn't bring himself to actually do it. It could be because of how much smoking has affected his voice..my opinion of course..I honestly have not kept up with Gackt's music so I wouldn't know..I stick to the music I have of his and that's all of the Gackt I listen to..

It could be, there's a noticeable change from his MARS era to now with Diablos. He can't sing like he did on Illness Illusion anymore, hitting those higher notes. I give him credit though, his falsetto is still amazing.

I hope he doesn't retire in '07 that is when I graduate. sad I will be so upset if I can't get to see him live just once! If he does retire I hope he does a huge tour and comes to the U.S. also!

Nooo! Gakuto-sama cannot retire! *sobs* That's one year before I graduate... I'll never get to see him in concert... *sobs more*

Gackt's got two DVDs coming out August 23rd, called "Gackt Greatest Filmography 1999-2006". There's a Red version and a Blue version, each containing PVs to twelve different songs.
Some of the PVs contained on Red are "Another World", "Oasis", "Mizerable", "Vanilla" and "Kimi ga Oikaketa Yume".
Some of the PVs contained on Blue are "Saikai ~Story~", "Kimi no Tame ni Dekiru Koto", "Todokanai Ai to Shitteita no ni Osae Kirezu ni Aishitsuzuketa", "Juunigatsu no Love Song" and "Last Song (UNPLUGGED)".

I believe gackt and You both said they quit smoking. If gackt retired he would still have his hand in some form of music i think. He might become another Yoshiki
