Attention is never easy. When you vie for it you do tend to get it but because you already have a predisposition in your mind to the type of reaction you want any reaction other than that goes un-noticed.

I mean looking at the last few posts i could find of yours in Camwhores you post an obscure pic or two and a random line. Nothing that really pressed for a response or would inspire conversation.

Though after each of your recent posts is a cluster of other people posting pics. You seem to trigger picture clusters instead of conversation. You are getting a response. just not the one you want.

My advice, try pics of your doing something and tell a story. say more than a few random lines that are impossible to reply to. I promise you that if you put something into it and there is someone here at the time you'll get something back.

I'm really sorry if this sounds a bit arrogant, or rude, or offensive somehow. But, I've always thought that you always got quite a bit of attention.

Although lately the attention level towards you has gone down a fair amount, I will admit.

Anyway, just my half a cent.

But like you, after a while, certain older members seem to be slowly forgotten.
And that's what it feels like is happening to me.
And possibly you, as I hardly see you around anymore.

Out of every fifty odd pictures I take of myself, the only ones I find even mildly good are the ones that hardly show myself.

My turn to b***h. If one more announces that they hate being ignored and not getting responses in the same ******** thread they announce they spend most of thier time lurking then I'm gonna go on a b***h smacking spree.

Every single on of the people I've ever seen b***h about it I can always identify the posts they'll get a reply to and the posts they won't. The unreplied posts are usually a one line about bordome or something vauge. The replied ones are usually an actual statement like "my day sucks. I hate school." or "yay I'm going to a carnival today, i can't wait" because those inspire conversation. An emote with a two word follow up is useless. All the lurkers just look at it and don't say a word.

And I never see these lonely lurkers replying to anyone elses posts trying to start a conversation. So knock it the ******** off. either talk to people or don't but don't spend all your time waiting for someone to start the conversation and then b***h when no one does.

Waaay back in my day in PYP, I did get a lot of attention. But that was a long time ago. Then, lots of new PYPers came along, I started getting less attention, therefore causing my number of visits to PYP to decrease because of the lack of attention. Before I knew it, I rarely even stopped by PYP because it made me feel more excluded than in real life.

So, now barely anyone remembers me, and I'm just as good as a speck of dirt.

But, not really. Sometimes because people don't say anything does not mean that they do not notice or pay attention to you.
