Ahti's ears went back, he snorted and nodded his head. "Aye, my niece needs my attention eh?" he turned his frame and padded back towards the den. His prints left behind steamed as the cool air met the hot earth, his eyed the young prince and his soon to be. He hopped them better luck in love than he was reciving at the moment.
The sight of the pale pink and purple marked cub brought a smile to his face. He nuzzles her cheek softly as he curls his frame around her shivering body, controling his tempture so that he wouldnt burn her on contact he stared out and watched over the land, his eyes roaming to the sky every once in a while. Maybe it was time for him to depart.
He stood back in the distance, it was hard to ignore someone who hadnt said anything to her. But, tis her choice and he obeyed the silence. He was loyal to his King, and him alone. His eyes watched his brother turn away, be shook his head. He looked to Fei Rou and smiled as he bowed his head. "Good day Princess.." he said as he lifted his head. "I have a daughter now, Im sure you and her shall be fast friends...specially since the loss of her sister."

Shaitani returned his eyes to his queen now that Ahti had departed the scene. "You... would leave again? Because of the foolishness of some young'uns?" While the words he spoke sounded like those of a jester, he told no joke. His tone was dead serious.

Koto gave one more of her fluttering giggles. How could one not be amused at Kiyoi's antics? "Thank you, Xiah-sama." she said to the Sakura Dragon, bowing her head to Xiah lightly. Her eyes widened as Kiyoi fell over, squeaking with worry as his paws ended up sticking on the air. "Are you alright Kiyoi-kun?"

Kiyoi lay for a moment, surprised, before quickly began scrambling to his paws again. Just a tiny blunder; maybe he could sidestep it? "Uh, yes, yes, I'm fine Koto-sa -- " Of course, his luck being what it was, his paws ended up tangled along the way and he promptly fell over again.
Picking himself up more carefully that time around, ears back and chuckling nervously as he sat down again. "Um... yes. Perfectly fine, Koto-san, ma'am. Just fine. Thank you." Actually, the cut on his side was beginning to rather ache from falling all over the place like that -- but he wasn't about to admit to it. As it was, it was a lucky thing his fur was such a dark shade of red to begin with. The kitten was blushing beet red, completely embarassed. That definately wasn't the proper how-do-you-do, he was sure of it. He could only imagine how silly he must've looked. "Um, and thank you very much Miss... um... Miss Miao Xiah-san ma'am, yes?"
'Please, please tell me I got her name right.', he thought to himself with a bit of a cringe.

She paused. "Possibly." was all Kun Yi said as she watched Shaitani. She seemed to cool a bit as the others left, and she threw a slight glance around, then letting her eyes lock back with Shaitani. Did he even want her back?
Xiah smiled lightly, letting herself lick Kai's head lightly before she stood up, and walked over to Kiyoi. "Yes, thats me." she smiled. "You're not to straight on your paws, are you?" she giggled lightly, as she nipped Kiyoi behind the neck, lifting him up alittle, then placing him back down straight on his paws. She then looked at Koto, giving a slight nod. She remembered playing with Koto as a cub... it was odd how much bigger Xiah was compared to the little kitten now.

Kiyoi allowed himself to be set straight without protest, though he did look that much more sheepish after the fact. "Uh, yes.. I mean, uh, no? I mean, um, thank you Miss Miao Xiah-san ma'am, " he murmured with a bow of his head, nearly setting off the whole thing all over again.
"Um, and I'm sorry, " he added quickly. Should he be apologizing? Or would it have been best to leave it at a 'thank you'? But then, he'd inconvienanced her -- yes, an apology was probably best at a time like that. Right? "For the trouble I mean, uh... yes. Thank you."
Wait. Was he repeating himself again? He was, wasn't he? Darnit...!

Xiah smiled, chuckling lighlty and shaking her head. "It's alright, Kiyoi-Kun.. No trouble at all." she said, nosing him lightly. "You can just call me Xiah." she nodded.

Shaitani truggled to keep up a cool face. He knew, though, that he was failing, and that the past wekes of depression were etched on his suddenly aged face. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out, so he resorted to casting his head away from her to hide his sudden and uncharacteristic show of emotion - as of late, anyway.
Kai nuzzled Xiah's foreleg and giggled at Kiyoi, "You're a strange one," he said, chuckling, "Name's Fan Kai Liu, and my father is the king of this pride." He nodded at himself, but gave a bow to Kiyoi.

The Queen and King of the Dragon Lands had absolved their problems away from the eyes of their Pride. Yet as time passed, the Dragon Lionesses sides grew swollen. Until one day she sought the refuge of a dark corner and bore the pain of birthing.
Three cubs from a male not of her mate. Three cubs that the Queen hated.
Her daughter, Fei Rou - now fully grown and stepping into the official position of Seer - took the cubs under her protection. She had no idea of why her mother bore anothers cubs, only that, if left by themselves, the Queen would not take care of them. Kun Yi's hatred scared her.

One of the cubs, the little female, looked up at Fei Rou; her sister, though she'd never know this. Sai Ren, the little female, nipped at her own fishnet armbands, then licked her paw, and wiped it acrossed the red skull marking beneith her eye. She rolled onto her back for a moment, and looked away from her brothers, away from Fei Rou, away from all the other pride members...
Xiah had watched Kun Yi from a great distance, slightly worried about the Queen of her home. She had birthed cubs, and Xiah told easily that they were not Shaitani's, but another males. Obviously Kun Yi was not happy...
She looked over to Fei Rou, stepping over to her, and the cubs slowly. "What... do you plan to do with the cubs?" she asked. "Lady Kun Yi does not seem to want to care for them." She added.

"They are my siblings, Xiah... I will raise them." The Seers ears drooped as she curled around the three cubs. "Mother may hate them... I cannot share her feelings." A little male nudged her stomach, growling softly. When no milk was found he curled up, growling a bit louder.

The other of the cubs pawed at Fei Rou, unconscious of his claws. He gave a yowl, expressing hunger, and slight annoyance at the lack of food around. He curled up against his 'mother', taking sleep as substitute.

"What of their father, Fei Rou? What if it is him, that they are destined to be raised by?" she asked, watching the cubs, putting on a light smile.

Ahti padded into the cave, only to see Fei Rou curled around a trio of cubs, he missed the pairs conversation. Their coats matched the lioness he stared at, his tail flicked for a moment as he did nothing but stare at Fei Rou for a long while, she'd grown this he knew. But had he truely been away long enough for her to bare anothers cubs, ears flattening against his skull. Ahti's large form padded past her without word now, he padded towards the area he usually shared with his brother, he found it empty and cold against his coat as he sat down, steam arose from his coat.
Unnatural blue eyes stared out ahead of him, blank of expression, his muzzle was clamped tightly shut as the muscles in his jaws twitched.

"Ahti?" She raised her head, eyes following the form of her heart. "Ahti, please, may I talk to you? It's important." Something was wrong. She would have gone to him, if it wasn't for her siblings. Her side twitched as claws raked along her skin.
