Jack stood against the wall, his ice blue eyes scanning around this new place. He looked to Fiona, then to Caerul, "I never got that phrase, "God fearing", isnt God sopposed to be this forgiving creator. Id guess you'd say Im not, its no offence to you," Jack didnt want to offend, he figured that they were kind enough to let him stay with them, hed at least show them the same courtesy "I just dont see the point in believing in somthing that can allow such bullshit to go on in the world. All people seem to do is blame him when things go bad, and when things go good they just ask for more...it just seems like another thing for others to blame s**t on. But ********, you believe, and I aint gonna get in the way of that."

"So if people blame Him for the bad, and beg for more good when it comes, whose fault is that? Our lord is a forgiving one,but only to those who truely want forgivness. I'm not trying to convert you over, but sometimes there are those on this earth who are charged by God Himself to do His bidding. And they, no matter what manner of man or beast, are blessed. But your understanding is much appreciated, Lord knows I wasn't such when I was your age."
Caerul layed down, staring at the ceiling, reminiscing.

Fiona smiles as well, remembering Caerul when she had first met him, and slipping her hand gently into his. Not gripping it, just letting it rest, and slowly allowing her fingers to trace across his. She looks to Jack, and smiles gently. "More often than not, people cannot learn to respect him, cannot learn to live with what they have... they cannot learn to live the way that god intended."
She smiles, and stops to think for a second, letting her fingers wander up Caerul's inner arm, tracing vien patterns across, her eyes soft and comforted as her fingers wander. She had a gentle touch, almost as if there were a feather crossing the skin, and as her fingers trailed up towards his upper arm, she spoke once again. "You must know, Jack, that Caerul and I are something you rarely see amongst our kind lately, but to understand this, you must understand that I love Caerul, with all of my heart, and I am very sure he loves me. Without god, there could be no love as strong as ours.."
Her hand wanders across Caerul's shoulder, gently stroking the side of his face, before coming down to slowly trace across the center of his chest with the same gentle, even stroke

No, no, li- look, shut it! I need those weapons by tomorrow night. I don't care if you have to FedEx the pieces in individual ******** packages, I need those guns. What? You never told me about a grenade launcher. Sure, might help. I think I know a knuckle-dragger that might like some of the heavier stuff. Alright, one love, blood. See y'. Ward hung up, sighed, and threw the mobile phone on the PC desk. It was hard getting such heavy-duty armaments when they were needed. And a friend's ghoul being your primary supplier, you don't really want to hit the wrong notes. He remembered seeing the animal-kin and his lady friend head off to the church. Maybe he should go and consult them? He only had half an idea, and it involved incendiary rounds, explosives and lots of back-mounted fuel tanks attached by tubing to a rifle-like weapon. Might as well. Who knows, they might want arming. Ward picked up his raincoat and his fedora, threw them on and shut the door to his apartment, making for the church. They club music was thumping again as he moved past the many legions of patrons, and his head was very much doing the same. Hopefully the night air would do him some good.

Jack gave the two a smirk and looked away. He was not in the mood for an argument, "Well either way, God or not, Im very happy for you two, heh heh....I wish you the best. As for me I dont waist my time with relationships, it slows me down. Besides, I enjoy the solitude." His eyes drifted off to another time...memories from his life...the one before he was embraced played back in his head. He longed for the effects that alchohol had on the mortals once again, that may give him the releif he needed...but it has no effect on the kindred. "Well all I can say is hopfuly your God is on our side, we will need all the help we can get in our fight with the Sabbot...and with that Malkavian Ward...I just dont trust that psycho ********."

Ward banged on the church door, looking around slightly paranoid. The thought of a successful business deal still fresh in his mind, the Malkavian harboured a sort of small enthusiasm about the situation. He knew there was someone in there, as he could see a faint flickering of candles through the keyhole. C'mon, animal-kin, let me inside. It'll be getting light soon, and no one wants the arms dealer to be dusted, do they...?

Caerul laughed a bit. He knew plenty of Malkavians.
"Back in the days, during the Second Great War, I knew a Malkavian. ******** up beyond all belief. But he was a worthy ally, and a strong companion in a time when I didn't have Fiona, or God by my side. You always gotta watch out for them, but when you get to know them, they can be the most predictable."
Upstairs, the father moved to the door, and opened it, letting Ward in.
"They're downstairs. Knock first, Caerul is protective of that basement."
The father led Ward to the door.

Jack jumped at the sound of the church door opening upstairs. "Who the ******** goes to church at this time of night?," he looked at Caerul and Fiona with a smirk "Besides you crazy ********?" He reached inside his pocket, keeping his fingers by the handle of his trusty switch blade, curious as to who was there.

Ward smiled and nodded to the priest. Thank you, father. He headed downstairs, taking off his coat and fedora. The Malkavian had a quick glance around the scenery. Odd choice of haven, huh, man? I'll say. This must be a right god-fearer down here... He emerged from the alcove at the bottom of the stairs and looked over to Jack, Caerul and Fiona. A pleasant evening to you, animal-kin, kn-, Jack, is it? I don't believe I've met you, miss...? He approached them with a wide, knowing smile on his face.

Having inclined her head apprieciatively to Jack's comment on Caerul's faith, and that of her own, Fiona turns when she hears a sound coming from the upper church, and descending down the stairs towards them. Her body tensed quickly, and rose to her feet, watching the entryway until she sees a rather strange man step through the door. Studying him, she looks back at Caerul, studying his reactions as well, before making her decision.
Fiona steps forward, her head inclined to Ward, and gives a small curtsy, extending her hand to him. "My name is Fiona, sir, I am Caerul's partner" She felt comfortable with her actions, and an alluring confidence spread from her body. "And you are?"
She tips her head inquisitively to him, her turqiuose eyes searching his face, looking over him. She tried not to tally him, and waited for his hand to reach hers

Before Ward had emerged, Caerul had moved to his feet, reaching for the broadsword beside him, but once Ward was visible, he took his hand away.
"What are you doing here at this hour? You're more likely to ash than find any of us." He calmed down a bit after his outburst. "Though since you're here, you might as well get comfortable, since the sun's just about here. Evenin', Ward I believe it was. How can we help you?"
He sat back down on his bed. He wasn't usually one to burst out like he did, but without even a knock on the basement door, Caerul was ready to kill an intruder, not give shelter to a current ally.

Ward nodded to Fiona. Ward. Pleasure to meet you. He shook her hand, then looked back at Caerul. Thank you for the offer. Alright, I'm not going to beat around the bush, asking if you want my help, but I'm coming to you with a piece of assistance. A contact of mine is supplying me with armaments to assist with the coming assault on the Sabbat. I want to know if you need projectile weapons or if the extra firepower I've requested will end up as surplus. While I'm at it, I'll put the same offer forward to Fiona and Jack, too. The Malkavian sat on the bed closest to him and threw his coat by the pillow.

"If anythin' it'll only be a rifle I'll be takin'. As for the others, well, I can't make any assumptions."
He looked over to Fiona and Jack, waiting for their answers to the offer.

That's fine, animal-kin. He looked over at Fiona and Jack. How about you two? There anything I can get you, or would you be happy using your own... whatever?
